Had to try the famous Sullivans from castle island at the newer location in Hanover. Really nice, clean spot with indoor/outdoor seating a bar area with TVs. I typically think of hot dogs and fried seafood but we're looking for a cleaner option and did the salmon and steak tips. Both were good and not too expensive, would recommend for a casual night out.

We hit up Sullivan's Castle Island at Hanover Crossing and found it to be a good little spot. I've never been to the iconic Sullivan's at Castle Island but certainly know about the famous hot dogs they serve there so had to give them a try. Not usually one to grab a couple hot dogs for dinner, I ordered two hot dogs with mustard and relish and substituted rice pilaf for the French fries. The hot dogs were served in a buttered, grilled roll and I have to say, they were quite delicious. Cooked perfectly and loaded with the right amount of condiments, the hot dogs would be something you could go back and have again and not tire of. The menu has bar pizzas, a few other sandwiches, some appetizers, salads and more. The space was clean and inviting and was a perfect place for a family to grab a relatively quick bite. Though it was table service with a waitress, the food was delivered quickly and it was piping hot. The service was attentive and friendly. All in all, a nice spot. Definitely would hit it up again when at Hanover Crossing again and would recommend it if you are there shopping.

I am an original location regular so expected close to the same. I was a little let down. The prices seem to be higher and the portions seem to be less. Also the food didn't seem to be the same (my favorite fried shrimp definitely wasn't the same). They also have new trendy things since it is a restaurant setting like pizza which I tried and was pretty disappointed (potato skin pizza). Overall it all just felt meh instead of the original or just standing on its own.

Was excited for this opening. The food was bland and so much pricey. We got the fried clams, pizza and fish sandwich. It definitely isn't as good as the original location. I won't suggest coming here. Overpriced, for bland food

Was very skeptical about going here because I love Sullivan's at Castle Island and most places go downhill when they branch out.... but man was I wrong. Got a cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and a lemonade. Wait was not long. Food was hot and fresh and brought right over too me. Burger was medium rare (just like I like it and didn't have to ask) and juicy. I have a food allergy to tomatoes and they were very accommodating by cooking the burger separate from other burgers and made on a well prepped and cleaned station. Fries were fresh, and so were the onion rings. Coco was my server. He greeted me and checked on me periodically. Honestly went above and beyond. Will definitely be back!

Disappointed. No chicken on chicken Cesar wrap. Just look at the picture of the Buffalo chicken and lobster roll

Great little spot for fresh sushi and more -- not "salty" at all!…read more I'm happy to say that Salty Days is one of the good speciality seafood places that you could count on one hand in the South Shore. The sushi rolls are hearty and could make a meal in and of itself. Fish was fresh, but I found the flavors in the rolls a bit muddled and on the sweeter side. We had honey and mango in our rolls that accounted for the sweetness, but I would have appreciated some acid or perhaps more salt (ironically) to cut it. I also sampled a poke bowl. Tuna was tasty and appreciated the texture of the crunchy bits. Service was friendly -- although they taunted us a bit as the TV on the wall had a live stream of a bar in St. John's. Want to know what that's about. Came once before early on and service and portions felt a bit off -- no longer -- they are learning and appear to be hitting their stride. On a side note, if you are like me, you're a bit confused why Greater Boston has nice seaside towns but don't lean enough into the ocean's flavor. A great omikase and sake is still not happening outside of Boston, unfortunately (if I'm wrong, tell me where).

Everything looked & smelled so good, I couldn't even stop to take pictures for this review. The spicy crunchy tuna poke bowl was so big & fresh. Smash burger & fries were picture perfect. Shout out to the hot Cheeto roll, WOW. Very excited to have them open soon in Marshfield!

I went with a friend for lunch yesterday (Thursday), and after trying pretty much all of the major restaurants in the Hingham/JNorwell/Cohasset area, this restaurant was clearly at the top of my list. We were served the Wagyu Beef Sliders and the Bacon & Carmelized Onion Arancini for appetizers, and the Pulitzer Short Rib Burger and Norwell Hot Chicken Sandwich for entrees. I say that we were "served" those things because we actually ordered the Bavarian Pretzels and not the Wagyu Beef Sliders, but because the sliders were so delicious, we figured that we'll try the pretzels on the next go around. All four of our dishes were absolutely fantastic. The sliders and arancini were absolutely top-notch. I've had so many average arancini that I forgot what it's like when cooked at a high-level. It's as good as any I've had anywhere. And the Pulitzer Burger is now my favorite burger ever. Just the right amount of char on the outside with the inside a perfect medium. The chicken was moist with fantastic seasoning. The unexpected surprise were the fries. The fries here are outstanding. And they achieve something that I've never seen anywhere else: their fries are "pillowy". They are crispy on the outside, but the inside is remarkably moist and fluffy. I'd have to categorize these as steak fries, but steak fries are usually a bit denser. Service was terrific, and the decor of the place is not "dated", as another reviewer commented. The place was clearly built to give off a classic and intimate vibe. I didn't try any of the fish offerings this time, but I plan on returning and checking them out. It blows my mind that I never heard of this place until a few days ago.

Unfortunately, the service felt rushed and somewhat impersonal. Our waitress was responsive when she was at the table, but she tended to disappear for long periods of time. As for the food, it was honestly just average. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I'm sad to report it was a disappointment. The hollandaise was cold, the eggs were over-poached, the English muffin only was toasted on one side and the hash browns lacked flavor. Even the coffee I ordered with my meal arrived lukewarm. Surprisingly, the best part of the experience was the Bloody Mary I had at the start of the meal. Maybe the the food would be better during lunch or dinner service. I might give them another try in the future and hope for a better experience.

We came with a large group, and let's be honest, that can go left real quick at most places...not here. The service was seamless, attentive, and genuinely warm from start to finish. No one was forgotten, no order was mixed up, no delays...just top tier customer service across the board. Now let's talk about the food...because wow. The bread basket came out fresh and warm (dangerously good), and set the tone immediately. I had the stuffed fish, and it was cooked to perfection--flavorful, well seasoned, and not heavy at all. Paired it with a fresh salad tossed in a mustard vinaigrette that was light, tangy, and just right. And the mocktails? So good. Crafted beautifully, refreshing, and not an afterthought like some places make them feel. What I love most is the consistency. Whether it's date night, a casual dinner, or a big group outing, Burtons shows up every single time. Great food, amazing service, and an experience that just feels easy. 10/10...every time.

AHI TUNA BOWL - $28 This was one of the most disappointing…read moredishes I've had in a long time. The "togarashi-crusted" tuna was not crusted at all--completely bland, with no seasoning or flavor. It tasted like it had been frozen, thawed, and simply dropped into the bowl. The rest of the ingredients were just as underwhelming. Everything was placed in separate, unappealing mounds around the bowl: a pile of tasteless sushi rice with a few sesame seeds, hard and underripe avocados chunks, unseasoned raw shredded carrots, smashed vinegar cucumbers with no trace of cilantro and beside that were the overpowering pickled red onions. To make matters worse, it all sat awkwardly on top of a mayonnaise ginger-soy aioli that did nothing to bring the dish together. There was no balance, no cohesion, and absolutely no flavor. It looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. I barely touched it. The server never asked why, and even if she had, I was with coworkers and wouldn't have felt comfortable saying how bad it was. For $28, this was unacceptable. Honestly, it felt like something a child threw together--bland, poorly executed, and completely lacking care. Would not order again.
