What a great spot! I was biking around with a group and we decided to stop off here for some lunch, since it didn't seem like there were a ton of other options in the immediate vicinity. I'm always a fan of the shack/restaurant vibe, so I was excited to try this place. Not sure why the reviews aren't that great, since we really enjoyed our sandwiches. So I am visiting from L.A. my friend took me here after visiting Hull Beach. I got that fried haddock sandwich with onion rings in my friend got a burger with sweet potato waffle fries . I've never had a fish sandwich that was so crispy so golden brown and so flaky. The onion rings are pretty good too. I'm giving it four stars due to a money/ordering issue along with no Fountain drinks available. As far as the food, the flavor, the freshness and quality, it was absolutely outstanding. I would suggest going here for anyone who is around this area. The prices are actually pretty moderately priced especially for the lunch menu. read more

the owner Lillian was crying because she could not handle her snack shack being busy on a beautiful spring day! she was complaining to the the customers how difficult it was to work hard. they don't seem to want any business and are very rude to paying customers. food wait times were over and hour and half for cold sandwiches that were barely average. read more

Went there with my family last week. The staff was overwhelmed and kept telling us to go to the bar to order our food. It took the staff at the window 10 minutes to give my cousin her change. My husband and I decided to give it a second chance. We sat at the bar for abour 20 mins. The bar tender was not there and never showed up. I then went to the window to order and was told they were out of what we wanted. Too bad because it is such a good spot. Won't be going back. read more

I miss last years Shipwreckd. The good: The space is great to sit out enjoying the water . Beer list is good. Quite a mix for craft and domestic. The bad: Lobster roll had ZERO chunks and was very small. It was pencil eraser sized chopped up pieces (like the dregs of the lobster) drowning in butter, I love butter but this was gross. So much butter so the roll fell apart after 5 minutes. Didn't appear to have any wine or tequila. One star for the ambiance and one for the beer menu. read more

Cute little place! Definitely off the beaten path and far from the "main strip" of Nantasket beach, which can be nice as it wasn't crowded. It's literally right on the water and attached to a pier that goes out into the ocean. You walk up to the window, place your order, take a seat and they call you back to the window when your order is ready. I got a bloody mary and a clam roll plate. Seafood that is NOT lobster and served on a roll is a rare find! Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly fried. My only complaint is that it was a little pricey even for seafood, but overall we had a nice experience. I'd give this place a try again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it as it is far away from everything. read more

The new owners have turned this into a great place to eat and hang. I went one day last year and they had a benefit for dogs. It was a fun atmosphere. One complaint is I got my food after waiting in a long line, I decided I'd like a beer so I had to get back in line and watch my table so no one threw my food away or sat there. It would nice if I could have gotten the beer another away. read more

Shipwreckd is an absolute gem. Firstly, don't underestimate their breakfast sandwiches. Oh my gosh. It's the greasy buttery breakfast sam you didn't know you needed. I'm an avocado and sprouts kind of lady, but this cheesy, sausagey, add a hashbrowns on a bagel/sweet bread ordeal is to die for. They have great beers on tap or ask for a breakfast beer if you're feeling adventurous. This local spot is worth the ferry ride over from Boston in itself - food, beer, and views. The owners couldn't be better people. They have tons of cool info about the areas rich history and when you leave, you're family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, absolutely love. read more

May 28,2022. I. waited in line like you can expect to do. The people awesome. The food mediocre. Really nothing to write home about. What killed me was the price. We had the Haddock sandwich. 36 dollars for 2 with french fries. I mean like are you kidding me ? And the fish fit into a small hamburger bun. Not sure where the haddock came from but it was undernourished. It was so thin i bet it had not ate for a week before they caught it. Poor little fish. They should put a size limit. Any way. First time visiting Shipwreck'd for lunch and don't think I'll be going back. I ordered the clam strip plate and it was very disappointing. Came in a big box and majority was fries with the smallest portion of clam strips. The fries were very salty and overly seasoned. There wasn't really any clam flavor as it was mainly just batter. Clams were not plump or juicy. Felt like I was paying for fries rather than clams and the most the plate should've been was $15. I don't recommend Shipwreck'd for the clam strip plate. read more

Went this morning with my family and it was amazing! Great breakfast and they actually make well done bacon the first time when you ask for it. The view cannot be beat and if the weather is nice the outdoor seating makes for a great experience. We cannot wait to go again! read more

Went fishing yesterday at Hull high school pier yesterday and got heat stroke. I saw that Shipwreck'd was closing and asked if I could please have some water....waitress said NO. When I said I was about to pass out she reluctantly gave me a cup of ice! I got to my car and sat until I felt better. I will never give Shipwreck'd any business again! No humanity....I hope others will feel the same way! read more

I'll start with a compliment- the girl at the window was very nice. The ordering system went perfectly smooth. The Food was returnable, I wish I did tbh. I got a burger that looked like they cut a frozen patty in half, it was on a giant roll maybe to disguise the lack of burger inside(IDK). My boyfriend got 2 hot dogs, they were decent with Bermuda union. My burger was deplorable. The porter potty was an absolute disgrace. I don't even know how I ate after seeing the condition of it. Was on the pier today for the view and leisure fishing, bought a frozen pina colada and drank on the pier which is a few steps to the restuarant, the drink barely had alcohol in it maybe 2 drops taste like watered down frozen colada cost 9$ small cup, we tried to enjoy on the pier. As we were leaving , emptied our cup and walked out towards restaurant to throw the cup before headed to my car because there were no trash barrels on the pier. Then the owner walked towards us with a very unpleasant look and attitude made us uncomfortable. He said he could lose his license if we walk out with the alcohol from the premise. He didn't let me explain that we were on our way to the restaurant to toss that cup and he snatched cup from my hand and looked at it and clearly the cup was empty. I remained calm and said " sorry" but he wanted to make a scene so that other customers can pay attention and said " if you don't know the rules here DON'T COME BACK!". But! Excuses Me!! who do you think you are to tell me not to come back? As long as you don't own that premise/pier I have the right to come back day and night whenever I want to. My friend was a older person and he used that to bully my friend and mocked him. Intentionally tried to embarrass my friend. The fact that we were Asian and he treated and talked down to us like that was pretty much rude and ignorant. read more

I've been here a handful of times since it changed ownership. My personal rule is three strikes and you're out. Yesterday I ordered the grilled cheese here for the last time, the third strike. The grilled cheese sandwiches are basically toasted cheese. The cheese is not melted, in some cases at all. If you cannot make something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich, how can I trust you to make any other kind of complicated breakfast with scrambled eggs and everything else? The jalapeno poppers , or as they are called here, "shark bites" , were the worst, as they all stick together, and for the first time ever they were burnt. They also charge a little less than three dollars for a small bottle of spring water, which you can get down the street at Cumberland farms for less than a dollar. The bathroom is still there and is in good working condition, but you have to buy something in order to use it. The only good thing here is the powerful WiFi, which for the time being is free. read more

I have been eating at this location for over 30 years. The owners recently sold the restaurant and I must say I couldn't be happier with the results. Great people, great food, great location. The Kraken is my favorite thing on the menu. And they brought back the fruit punch. read more

Wish this was still the old place. By far the worst meal I've ever had. Ordered the clam plate and chowder. The clams were something I have never seen. I know they said "baby bellies" but they were literally the size of dimes and tasted like they were pre-frozen generic and processed from a factory. To make it even worse, they used the abomination of what they masked as clams, in the chowder which proved the fake quality of them because you got the crunch of the batter with every bite. It also caused the chowder to have a nice brown color. Not chowder or clams. Couldn't finish either. I usually don't write any reviews on restaurants but I feel like the people who own this place are providing a cheap product that is a complete guise of true New England food all while charging the same price of genuine fresh caught fare. I feel bad for any tourists that may stop there and think it represents Massachusetts seafood. Will never go back. read more
