Good little market right on the coast. Gas prices were not bad considering there's nothing else anywhere near by. We stopped for gas and I browsed the convenience store. Good, if small, selection of snacks, drinks, dairy products, picnic supplies, etc. Fresh made sandwiches at the counter. I'd stop here again. :)

Very friendly people and a great cheeseburger and fish and chips. Try the chowder too!

It's a small friendly country market. The owner did not have what I needed, but immediately offered to call the next "C-Store" up the road.

Larry made an Americano that would rival any baristas best and Naaz is the Rembrandt of sandwich artists.

What a delightful market this is, a must stop during any road trip up this way. You can get nearly anything you'd ever need from toothpaste, milk, cheese, chips, detergent, on and on... they even have two gas pumps. They sell ice too. There's a small cafe serving incredibly good things, including hand made sandwiches (we had a 'Rocketman' and an 'Architect'... being an Architect I loved being so honored!). Both sandwiches were utterly fresh, delicious and tasty. They have several specialty type sandwiches, as were these two, or you may customize one. They sell coffees and other drinks too. There's a bar type set up and a cozy back area for sitting to eat, plus some outdoor places too. The store is simple, rustic but ever so comfortable, organized and clean. The people working here are upbeat and friendly and you feel so welcomed, and utterly pleased you came in to get something. Great place for a drink, snack or basic groceries and product. Do stop in and check it out!

In addition to a few inside tables, they also offer some outdoor seating with ocean views. Their portions are generous and a simple veggie sandwich is stacked with fresh produce. Once in a while they also offer some hearty Mac n Cheese. If you're up that way in the morning, there's also some breakfast sandwiches and various coffees. Staff is very nice and food is made quick. It's a popular and convenient stop along the coast just north of Fort Ross State Park, before you hit Timber Cove and Salt Point. I always make a point to stop here when traveling this lovely stretch of Hwy 1.

For the most part, this market is just like any other convenience store you've been to. What…read morebrought us here is that they serve Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Yep, that's right, I came here for the gas station fried chicken. Don't knock it until you've tried it! The only reason why I give this place 2 stars is that the service is pretty dismal. Well, not "dismal" really as it was awkward. All they'd have to do is greet people with a smile to make them feel welcomed and I'd already bump them up by one more star. The whole time we were there, my friend and I felt like we were intruding upon their personal time or something. The store has a pretty good selection and it's clean enough. Just be prepared for them to be a little weird.

The market had a good parking area and is easily accessible from the main road. The market was a bit cramped inside and I took a look around and decided not to get a deli sandwich as I had hoped to do. Why you may ask? The lack of cleanliness and cluttered feeling set off a red flag. I opted to get a water and had asked for a pepperoni and cheese package located behind the deli. I paid for my purchase and drove off to my next destination. Luckily I checked the food package before eating it. It was over two months expired. I wish I would've looked at it while I was still at the store. Needless to say, I ended up throwing away my snack and my stomach growled during my work visit. Beware folks and double check your purchases.
