Nice little shop, it has a variety of miscellaneous items. Because it has a sampling of everything, it's selection of any individual item like candy is not the greatest. Terrific little shop, one of those places that has a bit of everything ... My husband needed a tire pressure gauge, I got a banana and a big bag of potato chips in ... wait for it--apple cider vinegar flavor! Limited production and small batches (yes, I'm a fool who fell for their marketing ploy :-) If you think of something, these guys likely will have it! One of the guys who works here is a bit surly and dour, as if he's doing you a favor, but another guy comes along and assured me that I can use ApplePay because the chips are $6.00 and the minimum for using ApplePay is $5.00. Soooo, it's no full service customer centric place, but then again, it's s gas station with a shop attached to it, and waaaaay better than most of this ilk. read more

They don't even deserve one star. I wouldn't have ever mentioned their haneous price gouging or rude staff. But yesterday when I stopped by on the way up to visit family, I was driving and was becoming drowsy so I decided to stop for some caffeine. I realized I had left my wallet at home, so I started looking for what change I had. 30-40 pennys couple dollars in nickels and dimes and the rest on quarters. About 4.50$. Grabbed a drink total was 3.29. I pulled 4 quarters apologized for the change and said "there's 3.50 here man. Keep the change for the next guy." He mumbled something I couldn't understand clearly unhappy. I said "money is money man I'm sorry" grabbed the drink walked out and he threw the change out the door at me. I walked in told him he was an a**hole and set the drink back on the counter. Unreal. read more

Good little market right on the coast. Gas prices were not bad considering there's nothing else anywhere near by. We stopped for gas and I browsed the convenience store. Good, if small, selection of snacks, drinks, dairy products, picnic supplies, etc. Fresh made sandwiches at the counter. I'd stop here again. :) read more

It was so rainy and we didn't have reception. The gal at the front desk helped me find our way. I was so grateful for her expertise of the area, including hotel hours and reservation systems. She was truly wonderful! AND, they have seriously good chocolate brands on the counter. It was a nice, welcoming sight for what looks to be a long night hiding from the rain! read more

NOT SUCH NICE GUYS! Check your Credit Card Statements! Jenner Sea Store charged my Mastercard twice for the $60 of gas I bought back in May 2018. I've phoned them nine times and each time Larry says he'll refund me. But he never did. Maybe it's because I was a tourist, just passing through? Who knows. First time I phoned to get my $60 back, one of their staff told me that they "Get this all the Time!" So it seems it's common practice to scam customers by double charging their Credit Cards. This is an awesome place to pick up a whole variety of items along the coast. They were open on Easter Sunday, wow! They had my much needed dental floss! And the big star of the show was the homemade samosas which make excellent road tripping food. They come heated up on request, and there are other vegetarian noshables as well, like spinach and cheese pies, and a whole bunch of fancy cheeses. A great place to stock up on the road between hither and yon. read more

Stopped here to fill up a gas can for a friend's van that ran out of gas. I used one of like six pumps and this guy that works there comes out and yells: "How many gallons!" "Huh?" "How many gallons--the can!" He repeats. "Uhh, one?" "It's full!" He yells. I'm wondering WTF is his deal and I say:" it's actually one and a half" "There are people waiting!" he yells. I look and there's like one car waiting on me and the driver is totally chill and there are 5 other pumps available so the only person upset with me taking too much time to try to properly fill up the gas can and not slosh gas everywhere and make a mess is the guy that works there. I don't know if he's having a bad day or something but he needed to chill and focus on real problems. Next time, I recommend filling up in Guerneville and skipping this place. read more

We stopped here for sandwiches, well since we were hungry and needed to use a bathroom. The sandwiches were pretty good, although a bit high priced. Beware that their "bathrooms" are really porta potties outside. It was fine, but we'll probably bring our own food next time. Four stars for the friendly service and helpful directions. read more

I just left this store and the shop keeper or owner was dropping garbage on the ground next to his car. There was a lot of garbage so it seems like it's done regularly. The gas station is across the street from The River. read more

Well here it is - another country store on small road with no other choices for miles and miles around. Yep its old, Yep its well worn, yep porta potties outside (uses less water), Yep the usual small market / camping choices. I am glad to see the store, glad it is open, grateful that someone chose to run this business. Oh yes, and a billion dollar view (a million doesn't buy much these days) as the River reaches to the see and the birds swarm in huge flocks in the inlet below. 10 stars for the surrounding view. read more

It's a small friendly country market. The owner did not have what I needed, but immediately offered to call the next "C-Store" up the road.

These are good people. I stopped to buy gas on my way through town, left my VISA when I paid for gas, continued driving home to the Bay Area. When I called them, they were very nice, said they had found it, and would hold it for me. My husband was fortunately coming through the next day, so he was able to pick it up. Our local fishing guides love Jenner Sea Store knowing that whatever we forgot at home, we won't be paying an arm and a leg for it here. Quality bait, affordable fishing tackle, snacks and chow... lower than premium tourist-trap prices. Gasoline too. Larry and his crew run a happy, helpful store and treat everyone with the expectation they will see them again. They also sell fishing licenses. read more

my first stop into sonoma was the jenner sea store. i needed gas. what a wonderful welcome. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. they advised me on the must see spots on the coast. the store had a fantastic supply of convenience items. Larry made an Americano that would rival any baristas best and Naaz is the Rembrandt of sandwich artists. Larry knows his local beer and win as well. Excellent recommendations. I felt like family there. People like this are the reason vacations are memorable!! read more
