I'm not a germaphobe but once got a nasty intestinal bug from a restaurant where the food handlers didn't wear gloves, and I will never do it again. There's a reason gloves, or some other type of barrier between hand and food, are required. If you spend less than $80, keep an eye on the staff making your food or only get drinks, and you sit outside, this is a pretty stop through town. But based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place, and will not return.

What a delightful market this is, a must stop during any road trip up this way. You can get nearly anything you'd ever need from toothpaste, milk, cheese, chips, detergent, on and on... they even have two gas pumps. They sell ice too. There's a small cafe serving incredibly good things, including hand made sandwiches (we had a 'Rocketman' and an 'Architect'... being an Architect I loved being so honored!). Both sandwiches were utterly fresh, delicious and tasty. They have several specialty type sandwiches, as were these two, or you may customize one. They sell coffees and other drinks too. There's a bar type set up and a cozy back area for sitting to eat, plus some outdoor places too. The store is simple, rustic but ever so comfortable, organized and clean. The people working here are upbeat and friendly and you feel so welcomed, and utterly pleased you came in to get something. Great place for a drink, snack or basic groceries and product.
