She took the time to come up with a floral proposal that gave me options for my bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, the groomsmen boutonnieres, flower girl bouquets, mother corsages, and table flowers. The proposal was nearly ten pages long, and lovingly put together. We ultimately went with a plum, blackberry, gold, peach, coral, and cream palette with peach roses, ranunculas, scabiosas and peonies. The bouquets were loose, and very organic, like wildflowers growing on a vine. I loved it. Best of all? Liz worked within my budget and went above and beyond what was expected of her. Her designs are intuitive, thoughtful, and playful. When I saw my bouquet, I squealed. It was beautiful and exactly what I had wanted. Thank you so much for making my day, Liz!

It's been a month since our wedding and I think I'm finally ready to write a review…read more Overall the venue is stunning and there are tons of indoor and outdoor options. How you use the space is pretty customizable. We got married 10/20 at gatehouse and the ivy was a deep, beautiful red. Our reception was very fun and we danced the night away! When you book here, you're assigned a wedding coordinator who is more than a day of coordinator but not exactly a wedding planner. Their job is to be a go between for vendors to take the stress off of the couple who is planning. Once we got into planning, the coordinator only had a small list of "preferred vendors" for Lionsgate, which she would help coordinate with. The preferred vendors were more expensive than average and not really our taste as a queer couple. So, a lot of the planning fell to us. If you get married here, my advice would be to hire a wedding planner anyway. Note that if you book here you have to use their preferred liquor vendor (party liquor) as well as hire a Lionsgate preferred DJ. You can hire any other vendors you'd like. When you ask for prices, make sure to ask for hidden fees and costs. We have had a couple of surprises in our bills and deposits.

It's close-ish to Denver, but also kinda out of the way. The train stop isn't close enough to walk to this, which would be super cool if it was. You still have to rideshare either way if you don't want to drive.

We had the option to have an indoor or outdoor ceremony and ultimately pick inside but both are beautiful.
