Recently had my eyebrows done and I am absolutely over the moon with the way they look. My family had a bit of hard time in the beginning because it was such a change for my face and because I went darker since I learned from my big sis that they fade over time, but they look wonderful and I love them. I just went for the "free" touchup and they are darker again, but Jenny fixed a couple little areas where the ink didn't take. But really they still looked marvelous. Love waking up and only using a little shadow and an eye liner on the bottom. Jenny is so terrific. Her shop is clean and modern. It was a little hard to find since the name of her shop is different on the street sign. It's in the shopping center in the Pizza Hut building. I can't wait to save up some money and get my eye liner and lips done. Jenny worked to ensure that I loved my brows before I left (both times) and didn't rush at all. It was uncomfortable at times but Jenny did all she could to ensure the procedure was as comfortable as possible. Jenny is so kind and gentle. You won't be disappointed. read more

I am thrilled with the permanent makeup she has done for me. My eyebrows had been done previously, but after 15 years they had faded to nothing. I loved not fretting over my brows on a daily basis. I met Jenny when she worked on Imperial Hwy. Her permanent makeup is the best advertising. It shows beautifully what she can do. Her lips are flawless and perfectly colored, her eyebrows are gently sculpted, and her eyeliner is perfect. I got several good recommendation and decided to go for it with Jenny. I am so glad I did. 2 1/2 stars Eyelash extensions review only (fill/touch up) Had to dock 2 1/2 stars because of the appointment not starting on time. Made an appointment 1 week in advance for my lunch break and made an extra effort to leave work a few mins early to arrive at 12..I was on time yet I had to wait 20 mins while she took another client, not sure if they were a walk in or she double booked, but I ended up being 20mins late to work since the appointment didn't start on time :-( Also I did not like the fact that she took a few phone calls and seemed to be texting while doing my eyelashes. Room was clean and the relaxing music made it an otherwise pleasant experience. Lashes turned out well though not as full of a fill as my usual place (usual girl takes no calls or text msg during appt) but the lashes seem to be better quality? Time will tell..... read more

Jenny is sweet, nice, and professional. Her expertly and quality of service was short of stellar. I used her service for permanent makeup, but wasn't happy. She was supposed to help correct the old work which I had paid an extra $50 on top of the new fee to redo the work and reshape my eyebrow.. She left the old permanent unfinished and upon the day I went back for retouch. I told her I could still see the old ink and asked for her to go over it with skin color. Her respond was it's the vein area in my upper right eyebrows. I was very unhappy, annoyed, and disappointed especially with all the positive reviews she received. She didn't measure up! Jenny seems like a very sweet nice person when she first approaches you to say hello (in the open with everyone watching) then you walk back to her room.... the most repetitive sound scape music. I was driving me nuts. I was referred by a coworker. I had never had eyelash extensions before. She never had me sign a waiver, explain to me the process or ask what I wanted. She told me to lay down. I sat up and said, " I'd like it to be a more natural look" she said ok. She taped both my eyes completely shut, which I think is terrifying. With a bright light close to my eyes. For a hour I heard her coughing over 5X and I'm not sure if it was in my face or she changed gloves since I can't see anything. I'm pretty sure she was taking out her phone and texting cause I could hear it. After she was done which took a hour she didn't hand me a mirror to ask if I liked it. She just asked for money. Which she only takes cash or check. I didn't know the proper tipping so I tipped her handsomely. $50 refill and I am giving her $80. She told me I had to go every two weeks. I continued to go because I didn't know who else to go to. Finally I found someone. Moon & lash in Brea. They are amazing. They actually talk to you and go through each step and are thankful for tip. I wish I didn't go to this place to begin with. Same prices at other places and they actually treat you like you are a person not just money in their pocket. Very unhappy with the service provided by Jenny. I would definitely not recommend her. She needs to be more personable and step up her game. read more

I had scars on my brow bone from a bike accident that caused my eyebrows to grow in spotty. (Think soulja boy vertical lines.). I felt uncomfortable always filling it in, and halfway through the day re-applying make-up. I would use my hair and large sunglasses to hide them. I had serious self esteem issues. My aunt suggested permanent make-up. "What? Like tattoos?". At that point a flash of Mike Tyson's facial tattoo popped into my head. Then I pictured an old lady with scary overdone tattooed make-up (if you haven't seen this, be thankful. I still have nightmares). And I am more into a natural look. So this seemed out of the question. My aunt then explained that she had tattooed eyebrows. And hers looked so perfect and natural that it surprised me. She also said it had been years since she had them done and she was going to get them re-done. I went with her to Jenny to watch and Jenny was so sweet and professional. She spent a good deal of time making sure the ink she used would match once faded, and she had a great hand and eye while making her arches. I decided I was in love with the idea and couldn't wait to book my own appointment! I will dye my hair with natural colors and at the time, my hair was blonde, so I worried that whatever she was going to do was going to be too light or too dark. Again, I was worried about looking like a circus clown. But Jenny looked at my face, my roots, and the eyebrows I had and came up with a beautiful color. I thought it looked dark. But she explained that tattoo's lighten. And it did! It lightened to a great color that looked so good with my natural color, no one notices I have tattoos unless I mention it! (or my aunt mentions it which is usually when I don't want her mentioning it. Lol) Pain. I don't like it. I don't have a high tolerance for it either. But she numbed me well, and re-numbed me when I felt something. I fell asleep while she was filling in the shading... THAT's how good she is! I had my touch up today. After many months, it fades and you might need a touch up. It was even easier today than the first time I went. Anyway, I can't say enough about Jenny. The other review that mentions Jenny's own permanent make-up is dead on. She looks like a china doll! And what she's done for me in regards to fixing my problem... Jenny is such a sweet lady. I found her here on Yelp about a year & a half to 2 years ago, I believe. So this review is long overdue! I came to her because I saw that she did semi permanent makeup tattooing & was closest to me. Other places I know of are in Westminster, China Town, etc. I started off with very unflattering eyebrows. They had a shape I didn't like & there wasn't very much hair. I called & I spoke with her about coming in for a consultation for the eyebrow tattooing. I came in the next day. She started sketching some shapes onto my eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. She showed me what she liked & asked me if I wanted it any other way. I loved the shape she gave me! She told me that if I wanted to do it that very same day, she could do it right there & then. After an hour and half, I had some eyebrows! Right after she tattooed me, she noticed all of the flat, black moles I had all over my face. She told me she could remove them ASAP. So I laid back down so she could zap off my moles! So in one appointment, she managed to tattoo my eyebrows & zap off my moles! She made conversation with me the whole time. She knew I was & still am a full time student, so she gave me a really great deal! I stop by occasionally to touch up or re-color my eyebrows so it matches when I change up my hair color. I also stop by when I see some random moles appear on my face. She's such a sweet lady & her husband, Kevin, gives really nice men's haircuts. He cuts my brother's hair from time to time & knows exactly how to do it. I thought it might be useful to add some eyebrow tattoo tips: -they're dark right after they've been tattooed. looks scary & very chola-like (think sharpie eyebrows) -however, after a week, the tattoo should scale or peel off with a much better color -4 weeks later, the color should be perfect! -don't touch your eyebrows!!! -when you get home, wet a cotton ball & wipe off the clear liquid & blood -make sure it stays moist. dab a tiny bit of unscented lotion onto them every so often -stay home for a week! lol I get compliments all the time on my eyebrows! Some people even believe they are natural! I recommend her to everyone! read more

And she was so knowledgable and really took her time to explain what she was going to do and why. I got the eyeliner done. And I love it. Couldn't be happier. Even though she numbs the area It honestly hurt like hell not sure if it was just the idea of such a sensitive area or I'm a wimp. So be prepared. And taking something to relax you. First off, I have to let everyone know that the sign on the outside of this place says "iStyle", so if you find Unit D and it says iStyle, you're at the right place. I was looking for a good place to get my eyebrows waxed, and wanted a same-day appointment. I called ahead and Jenny said she could get me in at noon. I came in and it was wonderful! The waxing was quick and almost pain-free! She cleaned up my bushy brows and now I love them! It only cost me $10, too -- great price! She put some soothing cream or something on me afterwards and even massaged my temples, and my eyebrows felt so good! Now, the next day, they still feel good and I'm so pleased with my experience! The only thing was that she told me to bring cash next time, as I paid with my debit card and paid the tip in cash. I'll definitely be back again! read more

I originally went to Jenny N for permanent eyebrows based on her Yelp reviews and I have never been disappointed! It's been over two years now that Jenny did my eyebrows; then at her suggestion, I had bumps lasered off of my face; upper and lower eyeliner done; a dark spot, below my left eye, lasered off; and a bothersome mole lasered off from the inside of my elbow. The next on my to-do list is to work with Jenny to minimize the acne scars around my mouth with a microdermabrasion with chemical peel facial. Although she does apply a numbing cream there has been some pain with all of these treatments but absolutely well worth it! She is so sweet, explains everything, shows you the sealed instruments and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Her prices are very reasonable and more than fair when you're having multiple procedures done. She is very passionate about you leaving feeling that you received the best service from her and welcomes you back if you have the slightest concern or question. The salon itself is very unassuming in the strip mall location it's in but very clean inside with Jenny's room in the back right corner.
