I clearly indicated what I wanted and Chau (female Barber) gave me a fantastic haircut, a smooth shave, and a perfectly trimmed goatee. 7/30/21 Here I am again, but this time it is Jenny who will be cutting my hair. Alex is the one who turned me on to Jenny's Barbershop and after my last experience, I needed to get a full haircut and beard trim. My first experience was a fix up, because my wife didn't like my Jarhead haircut. She is going to have to deal with it the next time I get my haircut because I am not going back to the Simon Phoenix or Blade haircuts. As for now, I had my head shaved, but I can't say my head is smooth like a babies butt...on second thought, YES I CAN!:) I like the look of the goatee Jenny did as well. Jenny's tools are the latest in the business as I was informed. This cut the hair to the skin so the razor wasn't needed, but since I am use to a straight edged razor, I asked for it. I saw Jenny brought her dog to work with her. I don't know if the dog is male of female, but it is well behaved. The Olympics was on the television and women's and men's diving was on. It was second time today I have seen the Olympics playing. The first was at the My Eye Doctor's office. Anyhow, Jenny left a good impression and I am bound to come back at least two more times. read more

Don't understand the excitement here. Overpriced and almost rushed simple men's hair cut costs $28? Its a simple barber shop, so not expecting anything fancy, but only 1 TV on in the whole room and general conversation is nearly non existent. This was my first, and last, visit here as I wanted to try out a new local business. Far better options in the area that are cheaper or equal and offer a better/more enjoyable hair cut. I got my hair cut by a Jonny bravo looking dude. His name is Aldo. He left my hair very uneven and my sideburns weren't leveled. When I came in the next day to get it fixed I asked Aldo to shorten it by one size while he's fixing it. He refused and told me he would have to charge for a full haircut. His lack of customer service is bad but his hair cutting skills are worse. Went here in a whim for a shape up. I understand women occupying barber shops as customers is relatively new, and sometimes these spaces are intimidating, this place was just not what previous reviews have stated, also it didn't feel welcoming. If you look, most reviews are by men too. Too expensive for a simple women's undercut...they charged me $18 for a job that maybe at best $8-$10 with no design and no cut, just SHAVE. My hair is already shaved, I only needed a shape up, which honestly takes 10 mins. At first the hairdresser didn't want to do it because he didn't see my hair was already shaved, once he saw it was, he shrugged and said yes. Unprofessional, even though he tried to warm up during conversation. I asked if I should have it shaved at number 2, he shaved it maybe at a 4. He did a decent job with shaping the lines, but an incomplete and inconsistent shave. I had to go home and do it myself with clippers, really unimpressed with the service. Save yourself money and time, buy yourself clippers, ask a friend to give you a shape up. read more

A mixed review. I've been going here for many years, and Jenny is great - when she's available, which doesn't seem to be very often. The others are a mixed bag - some good, some less so. Today the barber in the chair across from the main row of chairs spent the entire time talking to another barber, sometimes stopping her cutting to emphasize a point. While razoring my neck she nicked me, but never stopped talking while she applied the styptic pencil. Not good. read more
