The donuts are always perfectly made - as in the frosting is perfectly iced so it doesn't get soggy or messy, there is always a perfect sprinkle to donut ratio, the doughy part is always perfectly soft and fresh. They don't really advertise that 90% of their donuts or more are vegan, but thanks to Yelp I was able to find that out, and I hope that this review helps other fellow vegan Yelpers do the same. Drove 40 minutes and it was well worth the drive! Got 1/2 dozen cake donuts (vanilla w/rainbow sprinkles, orange, blueberry) and one old fashioned. Everything was fantastic. The owners are very friendly and humble people, and they threw in some donut holes. Honestly, the donut holes stole the show! Best donut shop nearest me! I live in Yucaipa and honestly all the local donut shops are no good or always out of donuts. Had enough of that so decided to spread my wings a little and venture outside of Yucaipa. Redlands was the next best choice and sure glad I came across Jenny's Donuts. I drove all the way out here in my search of vegan donuts, and was not disappointed! I thought I'd have to drive all the way to LA for my craving, but I was surprised to find some in my own backyard. I was already prepared to be met with maybe 2 or 3 options when I went in and asked "which ones are vegan?", but was so pleasantly shocked to the answer, "all of them!" I spoke with who I assume is the owner (did not catch her name ), and she was the absolute sweetest. She was so eager to tell me all the donuts were vegan; her husband, the baker, has been making them that way since the shop opened in 2006. She said she didnt realize so many places added unnecessary butter and milk and eggs to their recipes! They were definitely fresh, but all of them had a fake banana taste to them. I don't know how else to explain it. They all had an odd taste to them . Chemical like. Me my hubby and our kids came by to pick up some doughnuts today. Parking lot area was a little congested. Other businesses share this parking area. We got a dozen mixed doughnuts. We got a dozen cream filled small little doughnut holes or cream puff things and a the kid's wanted some regular doughnut holes. The staff working today was a younger man who was very friendly and welcoming. The doughnuts were good but not the freshest we've had. We do really like the little doughnut holes filled with cream or cream puff things were very yummy!! But maybe next time we will come early in morning to try them again and see if they are any better. Overall it was a good trip with the kids to try out some doughnuts. After seeing a photo of a dozen vegan donuts posted by some other Yelpers, I knew I had to pay a visit to this donut shop. As I entered the donut shop, I was warmly greeted by the restaurant owner. I asked her which of the donuts in the shop were vegan and she replied that all of the donuts were made without eggs or dairy except one item which she showed me. I was floored by the variety of donuts available and it reminded me of my other favorite vegan donut shop which is Ronald's Donuts in Las Vegas. I left with a variety of vegan donuts including an apple fritter, a chocolate stuffed donut, a lemon powered donut, a chocolate covered donut topped with chocolate chips, and a chocolate topped long john. All of the donuts were light, tasty, and flavorful. I particularly view the visit to Jenny's Donuts as a success in that although my hubby doesn't eat sweets, he loves their donut holes and apple fritter. Since they open early daily at 4am and close at 8pm, we will definitely visit again and look forward to eating more of their vegan donuts soon. read more

YES vegan donuts in the house! Forget that stupid Donut Bar in Riverside (bland) and that place in Fontana (dry ass donuts)- this is the vegan donut spot. They make all their glazes from scratch and you can really tase the difference. Apple fritter looked a Bit dark but was the perfect crunch in the outside and chew on the inside. The maple bar romanced my nose before it hit my tongue. Jenny was so sweet and definitely a saleswoman. I only wanted one but she assured us we'd want more... she was right :) She says the vegan donut is not due to the trend- she's always made them this way. Even the cream in filled donuts is safe. I heard about this place from a vegan friend. It was my co-workers birthday, so I decided to pick up a box of donuts since she is also vegan. The couple running the shop was so sweet! After I got my donuts, I came back in and asked if they had sandwiches because I was very hungry. The lady said she would make me an egg and cheese on wheat bread. It was so good! Let me preface this by saying that this was my favorite donut shop. I came here many times before and I loved what I got every time. But in my most recent trip while me and my wife were enjoying our donuts we were horrified to find a fingernail in one of our donuts. If they weren't closed by the time I found it I would have taken them back same day but I had to settle for taking them back the next day. Now if the situation was handled the right way I would have left it at that. I'm not trying to ruin anybodies livelihood by leaving bad reviews. But when I went to return the donuts, probably 6 or 7 of the mixed dozen, instead of just giving me my money back the person at the counter refused to believe that the fingernail came from her because she "just did her nails" and her husband doesn't have nails apparently. She initially wanted to replace the donuts, but I am never touching another donut from that place again. So after some haggling she decided to give me 6 or the 9 dollars it costs for a mixed dozen. I just wanted my money back. I was not trying to rip anybody off or cause any unneeded grief. I just wanted the situation to be made right by me. Unfortunately they refused to do that. TL;DR: Found fingernail in my donut, shop refused to believe it came from them and did not want to give me a refund. read more
