So I don't know if it's the ocean air but these burgers were delightful and delicious. Jenny's is family owned and they take pride in their never frozen beef. The menu is simple and it's a local favorite. We had a very long day of hiking and what do I always crave after hiking? A burger of course! Not a huge place but their burgers are indeed Giant along with tasty hot fries and a yummy chocolate shake. They also offer a garden burger for those that don't eat meat. Unfortunately before I knew it I had ate all the evidence so I have no pictures to share. Just trust me, if you find yourself on the Northern coast of California, stop in here for a fantastic meal. Food was prepared fresh. The malt is only 12 oz but was good. The prices are higher ie: Giant Cheeseburger $10.15, Fries $3.50, Chocolate Malt $4.40. So for this meal it's over $18. The service was really good. Everyone was friendly, polite and caring. read more

Great cheeseburger! Quality meat, big patty. Perfect bun. Comes with all the fixings-except ketchup, you need to ask for it. Loved it with the onions grilled! I like the simplicity of the menu. I would have liked an additional slice of cheese, just my preference. There's only one fry choice. It's 3.50 for a bag of fries, but they will overflow onto the plate and they are a natural cut with a little skin left on. Served hot and delicious! Burgers were amazing! Crispy patty on the outside and very juicy overall. Very fresh too. The fries were awesome as well. We were pretty full after the burgers and fries, but "somehow" had room for a chocolate milkshake and it was the perfect way to end the dinner. The restaurant is tiny as they only have three tables plus a counter inside, but I think there is also outside seating. The staff were very nice and friendly. I can see why this is a favorite among some locals. May be one of my go-to spots whenever I visit Fort Bragg. read more

While on a drive through CA-1 we were looking for a good hamburger, we stopped at Jenny's Giant Burger following previous reviews. It was all we hoped for and expected. Not your typical chain food restaurant. These hamburgers are freshly made, the meat tastes fresh and it's sooo good. We ordered two giant burgers, one order of fries and a soda, the total was just under $19 dollars. It's hard to find good food for a low price. The staff were all very friendly and had our food ready pretty fast. I'm definitely saving this spot as a reference for a future visit. read more

Very friendly folks, was greeted and order taken right away. Restroom is outside, tiny, but clean, key hanging in hall toward staff area of restaurant, attached to a 10" piece of PVC pipe. Clean tables, chairs and barstools at counter create a cozy dining area. Burger patty was large, perfectly cooked, on a fresh bun and made to order. The small fries were a generous serving of properly cooked but minimally seasoned thick cut potatoes. I added a packet of salt. The chocolate malt only is available in one size, but that was plenty with the literal giant burger and fries. Decent chocolate and malt flavors. Not too sweet. I requested a cup of ice and was offered a large cup, lid and straw. Cup was filled to the top with ice. I had a couple canned Cokes in the van, it was nice to have that ice to cool them down. Nicely decorated with local school team photos above the counter and on the walls. A shadowbox of merch is on display. I'll be back! read more

My mother lived here in Ft Bragg 20 years ago. Imagine our surprise to see The hamburger stand still hanging in town. We knew we had to get a burger and fry fix. If I could have eaten burgers and fries for four days I would have, that is how delicious the meal was. The service was stellar, and attentive. We decided to sit indoors and the seating was a trip in the past rather nostalgic . We both had the giant cheeseburger and fries. we had different condiments on our burgers and they got the orders correct. The meat was flavorful and had the amount of greasy you expect on a good burger. The french fries were crunchy on the outside with a soft interior. There were those extra crunchy pieces at the bottom of the fries. My sister had a chocolate milkshake which was not too thick to get thru the straw, nice chocolate flavor. This will always be our go to spot when we are in Fort Bragg. read more

When a town has a popular burger spot, it's a must to try out! I wasn't hungry, so I didn't get my own burger but I did share fries and a strawberry milkshake with my boyfriend and took a bite from his double giant cheeseburger. We both were pretty shocked and pleased with the burger! The fries were crispy and a great side. The milkshake was a great amount of flavor and creaminess. Grabbed a couple of Giant Burgers for a quick lunch. Looks like it's popular with the locals. The phone was ringing off the hook. Lots of folks running in to pick up their phone orders. The staff seemed busy but efficient. Burgers were generously sized and tasty, with lettuce, tomato, red onion. Small eating space inside but we ate outside at one of the several picnic tables. Side note: My mom once broke her leg while on vacation in the area and had to spend some time in the hospital here. Maybe 30 years ago? I absolutely loved my strawberry malt which was sweet and creamy, on the other hand my burger was good quality, but pretty average. the fries paired with the burger were delicious and pretty big too. It's not anything special or crazy about this restaurant but it is good and it is consistent. Tho if you're having more then five people it might be difficult to find seating considering there's only two tables for six outside and those are usually occupied considering the insides always full. read more

The burgers are great and the quality has been consistent the three times we have been here when visiting Fort Bragg. It is dog friendly-you can bring your dog and sit outside at the picnic tables. You can request a hamburger patty for your dog that they will cook without salt. Our dog was in heaven! We had the giant hamburger, giant cheeseburger, french fries and soda. They also have shakes. The staff is super friendly and it's a fun place to go for a burger. You can call ahead, pick up your food and go down to the beach. The people working here were WORKING . Stephanie was doing it all--taking orders, running food, staying on top of everything--and she still had an amazing attitude the whole time. Super welcoming, always smiling, and made everyone feel taken care of. The guys on the grill were absolutely busting out orders nonstop. You could really tell this team hustles. The burgers were great, and the small fries were honestly a shareable portion. Perfect stop whether you're dining in or taking food to go.
