Best fish and chips I've had in a while! The fish and chips were crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. The fries were also fantastic. The fish tacos were also fresh and flavorful. Everything hit the spot and will definitely stop by again!
Fantastic spot for a quick, casual fish n chips type meal. It's obviously popular because there was a line the whole time we were there on a Sunday late afternoon; however, they did process orders and get food out pretty quick. We ordered clam strips, two battered cod fish tacos and two battered shrimp tacos to share and everything was great, just a lot of fried food for two people! I personally love clam strips and was happy to see this on the menu (I feel it's not super common), but as an "appetizer" order, I would've been fine to get the clam à la carte without fries. The fish was some of the best battered cod I've had in California--tender and buttery fish in itself but the batter was perfectly crispy and actually stayed on the fish (in comparison to some fish n chips where the fried batter just peels off). The shrimp was also good, but in hindsight we should've each just done the fish because it was standout. The sauce and pico complemented both well. Would definitely stop here again if in the area!
One Taco Order, Zero Regrets I placed a to-go order for the salmon tacos and really enjoyed them. Service is fast and friendly! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. My only minor criticism is that the sauce was a bit overpowering, so I couldn't fully taste the mango salsa. However, the tacos were generously filled with large pieces of salmon, and the price felt very fair for the quality and portion size. Overall, it was a flavorful and satisfying meal. The quality, freshness, and value make this a dish worth trying, and I would definitely order it again. Highly recommend if you're a fan of fish tacos!
Everything here was good, not incredibly special. I ordered the sample appetizer platter with a bunch of fried foods. The onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and shrimp wontons were good. I will say the fried pickle spears did not meet the mark for me, personally. I think I prefer sliced fried pickles. My husband ordered the salmon tacos which were also good. The view of the marina is nice and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were fine and the order came relatively quickly based on the amount of customers.
Oh, my! Ceasars salad, add Rock Cod, grilled fish, out of this world! My friend had Rock Cod tacos and she says they were the best. Down on the exciting Noyo Harbor, listening to the seals and great music. The staff is on top of service and the cashier is a darling, patient, courteous gal. Heaters on the patio, great wine! What more could you ask for? Honestly the grilled Rock Cod on Ceasar will bring me back! It was huge!! And sooooo good!
We decided to eat here and at sea pal cove back to back to compare the fish and chips. The fish is seasoned well and the tartar sauce is delicious. The fish had some crispy parts but also some soggy parts. I wish it were crispy all the way. The chips were the best chips I've ever had with fish! Reminded me of Bon chon chicken's fries. We also had the Baja fish tacos which were fresh and light. The chips and salsa it came with was also a nice surprise We definitely think Noyo was better than Sea Pal.
We're so glad we picked this restaurant for our fish and chips. We had a 10% off coupon for another restaurant from our lodge, but it only had 3.5 stars so we passed. And we're so glad we did. I had my doubts about this as all seating is outside and it's a little chilly out. As it turns out you eat in a tent with lots of heaters. I'm surprised the tent doesn't melt as it's so warm in there. I was happily impressed with the seating. There is lots of seating. There is also some seating on the deck without heaters and there were still people eating out there. There are mostly picnic tables you sit at snd share with other families. It's not shoulder to shoulder. There is a big gap between parties. So it was really comfortable. Their specialty is fish tacos, either grilled or fried. Most people got the tacos, next was the fish and chips and that is what we got. A basket includes chips and 3 large pieces of fish. The fish is very generous. We really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was moist and crispy perfect. And it was fresh and didn't taste fishy. The fries were crispy like I like them. The cup on clam chowder was the perfect size. It was creamy and full of clams and potatoes. This was the perfect size meal for two adults. They have a water cooler and cups for a self serve water station near the silverware. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and I'd come back again.
I came here originally during Covid and ordered their clam chowder. It was incredible. I spent the next 6 years thinking of this chowder, but forgot the name of this place.. So this weekend, my family and I came and attempted to find it again from memory. We found the area, but after 6 menu visits, we finally decided on this spot simply because they had the salmon tacos! We were starving, so we ended up with a clam chowder, fish &chips, fish tacos and the salmon tacos. All delicious! It was so good, my toddler was walking around eating a tiny cup of mango salsa. The service was speedy, the portions are big, they have to go plates and have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and the parking wasn't too bad either. We cannot wait to come back again on our next adventure to Fort Bragg!
Walt from Walt Adventures here in Fort Bragg, California at the Noyo Fish Company. I have eaten here before and it was one of my favorites in the area. The taste and presentation of the food equals the heart in creating the dishes. This is why it pains me greatly to award 2 of 5 stars. We ordered 1 clam chowder bowl, one in a cup and a fish sandwich. The eatery was busy but it is no excuse for receiving the clam chowders before the sandwich was completed. My family completed their meals and I waited. I let the waiter and then 20 minutes later, the head hostess know that I still waited for them to create a simple fish sandwich. "It will be out soon was my reply instead of compensation. When mistakes occur, you stop what you are creating to make the order straight away. This was not the case. 45 minutes after my group was done, I finally received my meal. I mourn for the fine memory that I had of this restaurant and will give them 1 more chance to make amends someday in the future.
came in here with high expectations and was let down. the clam chowder was nothing to rave about, but the bowl was a lot softer than ones i've normally had which was a good feature. we also got the fish and chip and like people said, it was a bit soggy in some parts and some had a light crisp, not super crunchy. it didn't have too much flavor besides that and we had to heavily use the tarter sauce. in addition we got the baja fish tacos and that was also alright. the fish was similar to the fish & chips and also not that flavorful. the fish was bland as well and the sauce they drizzle on it doesn't add too much flavor as well.

We sampled the seafood combo and the tacos, both of which were impressively fresh and well-prepared. While fried seafood often suffers from improper preparation, Noyo demonstrated exceptional technique; the dishes were perfectly seasoned, tender, and flavorful. I commend the culinary team for their expertise and look forward to returning in the future.
There is nothing like eating a seafood lunch in a tent off a pier in the middle of winter. The food was wonderful. I had the fish tacos, and they were amazing--the fish was super fresh. There were so many delicious options on the menu, but I'm glad I went with the tacos. The staff was friendly, though there isn't really traditional wait service. It's set up more like a fast-food or counter-order restaurant. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Definitely worth a trip here--especially in the winter if you're adventurous.

The fish taste so fresh as I would expect right by the coast. The prawns were also very big and cooked to perfection. I would recommend getting the fish and prawns together, 3 prawns, 2 fish. I don't think the prawns and chips are worth it mostly because you only get 5 prawns.. 6 would make it perfect but nonetheless everything was absolutely delicious. The clam chowder is probably the best thing on the menu! It's loaded with clams and it is perfectly seasoned in my opinion. Can't wait to come back! If you're in town I recommend you stop and give it a try.

The fish and chips were off the charts. 4 large cod fillets and a super portion of fries. My hubby had the shrimp and chips and said it was tasty. The food is to die for! The freshness, the crunchiness, the consistency of taste is emaculate. I came her with my girls for a bachelorette party, drove 4 hours and I would do it again. It's order first, then they will bring out the food to you. It is cafeteria style so keep your number next to you to get your food. They do have a bathroom around the back. The weather was extremely nice and the dining is outside with a tent over the seating. You are more than welcome to sit outside of the tent for a nicer view of the harbor. read more

Absolutely love this place, down on the harbour. Sit out by the dock or under the tent, listen to the wildlife (who probably eat fish just as fresh!) and enjoy the afternoon. Every staff member I've dealt with, has been cheerful and welcoming, the food is cooked to order, super fresh and just plain "yummy!" Good sized portions too! Hopefully you don't need to be anywhere else, and just able to hang out and let the day pass by. read more

Don't miss out on Noyo Fish if you're ever in Fort Braag/Mendocino Coast area! It's the optimal of delicious food, great ambiance and seasonal price! Indeed, Noyo Fish is located right off the harbor with spacious outdoor seating area overlooking the water. Parkings are ample in front and in the parking lot right across the restaurant. You order, pay, get a number and grab a table. It's first come first serve. We ordered Baja Fish Tacos, Baja Shrimp Tacos, Oyster PO' Boy (fried oyster) and fries! ALL ARE DELICIOUS! You can taste the freshness of the seafood in all the dishes. The battered fried sea food was crunchy yet moist and full of flavors inside All were so well seasoning. We didn't have to wait long when our food came out smelling heavenly and with generous portions! We were very hungry because we just came back from Wiltis for the Skunk Train Pumpkin Express Train ride. It was 2pm but the place was still packed with happy customers chatting and munching away! We felt right at home and devoured our food in minutes LOL Ooh I didn't mention that they were very dog friendly! My dog had a great time as well interacting with neighboring tables' dogs. This spot turned out to be one of our favorite meals from our trip and we stopped by on accident. We had just finished a 7 mile hike in Russian gulch and planned to eat at princess seafood market. Idk if we were just deliriously hungry or what but we stopped here instead of walking a little further down the street. But I gotta say we were not disappointed in the slightest. The food here is amazing! Service was quick and even tho it's outside seating near a port the area is pretty clean. Their clam chowder is loaded with goodness, not lacking in any way. The shrimp po boy was my favorite. It's filled with the most succulent shrimp and they're fried to juicy perfection. The Baja fish tacos were also exceptional. It wasn't till after we left we realized we stopped at the wrong place. But I'm not mad about it. We'd happily come back if in the area. read more

This spot is located right after a steep downhill, and parking is pretty limited, so plan ahead. They have a special daily menu definitely worth checking out! The setup is simple: you order at the counter, get a token, and the food is brought to your table. Each table has its own variety of sauces, which is a nice touch. Seating is only outdoors, with heaters scattered around and some partially covered areas. Even so, it gets chilly and windy in the evenings, so bring layers. We ordered the appetizer sampler, fish & chips, clam chowder, and fried oysters. The sampler came with fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, cheese dumplings, and onion rings. The chowder was served with two slices of bread (not grilled), while the fish & chips were good, crispy and flavorful. I tried fried oysters for the first time, and it was definitely an interesting experience. I did a to-go order as well, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. This food is best enjoyed fresh on-site, so plan to dine in if you can. read more

Fabulous shrimp tacos if you like them deep fried! The shrimp won tons are also delicious! I keep wanting to like the clam chowder, but it's exceedingly hot and lacks flavor to me. First meal in Ft Bragg was memorable we had the shrimp tacos $18 and Fish and Prawn combo $19. The batter was perfection, light crispy and golden brown. The prawns and the shrimp tacos were quite possibly the best I have ever had. The fish was good but the batter and fish separated easily while trying to eat them. Lots of room here and food comes out fast despite the number if people eating here. Noyo Fish Company is a must eat spot for me. read more

AMAZING --we're from Orange County and took a weekend trip to fort bragg. We ate here at 12pm. It was so good and fresh we literally came back for dinner. Round two was almost better than the first time good service, cool views and chill environment. Almost makes me want to move to the area if you have a chance, definitely stop to eat here. read more

We love Noyo Fish Company!! We visit Fort Bragg to see family and this place is a must! We usually come twice per each trip. Their fish and chips are such a staple. As are the prawns! Quantity and quality are outstanding. The line can get a little long and sometimes we do have to take time to scout out a place to sit. However, it's a small town and that's the point. Taking things a little slower is really great. Always worth the line and the staff is very friendly. We definitely prefer to take our patience and sit closer to the water/boats. Seeing wildlife, boats and kayakers is super fun. The vibe is chill and casual, we love that. We have a little one and dressed her accordingly and she was entertained watching too read more

I'm not a big salmon eater but with fresh fish thought we would split an order of fish tacos. Let me say, I wish I got my own, they were amazing! We also got a burger and chicken tenders which was also great. Had a nice view of some in coming boats and even saw a seal pop its head out of the water in front of us. read more

One of our TOP FAVORITE fish and chips locations in Fort Bragg area. Hefty portions, great flavors. The batter is made maybe with chives or dill? I was trying to pick out the herbs flavor. The tartar sauce is my favorite ! The French fries are made to perfection too. Always sitting, overlooking the harbor. Will be back every time we visit. Delicious! We came hungry and the servings were plenty! Baja fish tacos are a MUST! The sampler had amazing shrimp wontons, fried pickle spears, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Lady at the register was friendly and offered a great suggestion for a local favorite hazy beer. Plenty of seating and food came out within 10 mins. Excellent stop and you gotta try it! read more

This place is really good, but be prepared for some rich food! I swear everything in this town is deep fried, so it's nice that you can ask for a grilled version of most things here (if you're into that). It's right on the wharf with a charming view of the water and boats. You just order at the counter and a server brings your food to wherever you're sitting. It was partially covered by a tent with heaters inside. Honestly, all the restaurants in this little cul-de-sac score big. Fish Tacos: Served on corn tortillas with mango pico de gallo, cilantro, shredded veggies, sauces, and chips on the side. In a town with many fish tacos, these are good. Shrimp Tacos: How did I finish three? Each taco has a similar preparation to the aforementioned fish tacos, but with two giant, crisp-batted shrimp. It was very meaty and very delicious. Clam Chowder: Creamy New England clam chowder with oyster crackers and a couple slices of sourdough bread. Go for it. read more

I would think so, it's very casual, you eat outside in picnic tables. They are very nice.

They might might have a salad and/or fish that's not fried (check menu) on fish tacos but for the most part, all their food contains gluten. It's delicious!
