The taste and presentation of the food equals the heart in creating the dishes. This is why it pains me greatly to award 2 of 5 stars. We ordered 1 clam chowder bowl, one in a cup and a fish sandwich. The eatery was busy but it is no excuse for receiving the clam chowders before the sandwich was completed. My family completed their meals and I waited. I let the waiter and then 20 minutes later, the head hostess know that I still waited for them to create a simple fish sandwich. "It will be out soon was my reply instead of compensation. When mistakes occur, you stop what you are creating to make the order straight away. This was not the case. 45 minutes after my group was done, I finally received my meal. Everything here was good, not incredibly special. I ordered the sample appetizer platter with a bunch of fried foods. The onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and shrimp wontons were good. I will say the fried pickle spears did not meet the mark for me, personally. I think I prefer sliced fried pickles. My husband ordered the salmon tacos which were also good. I came here originally during Covid and ordered their clam chowder. It was incredible. I spent the next 6 years thinking of this chowder, but forgot the name of this place.. So this weekend, my family and I came and attempted to find it again from memory. We found the area, but after 6 menu visits, we finally decided on this spot simply because they had the salmon tacos! We were starving, so we ended up with a clam chowder, fish &chips, fish tacos and the salmon tacos. All delicious! It was so good, my toddler was walking around eating a tiny cup of mango salsa. The service was speedy, the portions are big, they have to go plates and have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and the parking wasn't too bad either. We're so glad we picked this restaurant for our fish and chips. We had a 10% off coupon for another restaurant from our lodge, but it only had 3.5 stars so we passed. And we're so glad we did. I had my doubts about this as all seating is outside and it's a little chilly out. As it turns out you eat in a tent with lots of heaters. I'm surprised the tent doesn't melt as it's so warm in there. I was happily impressed with the seating. There is lots of seating. There is also some seating on the deck without heaters and there were still people eating out there. There are mostly picnic tables you sit at snd share with other families. It's not shoulder to shoulder. There is a big gap between parties. So it was really comfortable. Their specialty is fish tacos, either grilled or fried. Most people got the tacos, next was the fish and chips and that is what we got. A basket includes chips and 3 large pieces of fish. The fish is very generous. We really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was moist and crispy perfect. And it was fresh and didn't taste fishy. The fries were crispy like I like them. The cup on clam chowder was the perfect size. It was creamy and full of clams and potatoes. This was the perfect size meal for two adults. They have a water cooler and cups for a self serve water station near the silverware. We love Noyo Fish Company!! We visit Fort Bragg to see family and this place is a must! We usually come twice per each trip. Their fish and chips are such a staple. As are the prawns! Quantity and quality are outstanding. The line can get a little long and sometimes we do have to take time to scout out a place to sit. However, it's a small town and that's the point. Taking things a little slower is really great. Always worth the line and the staff is very friendly. We definitely prefer to take our patience and sit closer to the water/boats. This spot turned out to be one of our favorite meals from our trip and we stopped by on accident. We had just finished a 7 mile hike in Russian gulch and planned to eat at princess seafood market. Idk if we were just deliriously hungry or what but we stopped here instead of walking a little further down the street. But I gotta say we were not disappointed in the slightest. I swear everything in this town is deep fried, so it's nice that you can ask for a grilled version of most things here (if you're into that). Fish Tacos: Served on corn tortillas with mango pico de gallo, cilantro, shredded veggies, sauces, and chips on the side. In a town with many fish tacos, these are good. Shrimp Tacos: How did I finish three? Each taco has a similar preparation to the aforementioned fish tacos, but with two giant, crisp-batted shrimp. It was very meaty and very delicious. 4.5 stars! It's a small stall with lots of seating on the harbor. There was a tent-covered seating area as well as open air picnic tables and open-air bar seating. We arrived at about 11:50am on Saturday, so there were already a lot of people but we were able to snag a close parking spot and a table. My partner ordered 3 baja salmon tacos and I ordered 3 baja fish tacos. Once we ordered, we were given a number card and could sit anywhere. The food came out quick and hot, and there was a side of chips and salsa on the platter with each order of the tacos. The menu didn't describe what kind of sauces would be on the taco besides "baja", and I'm allergic to avocado, so we asked the staff for the clarification. Once we had the all-clear, we dug in. The salmon tacos were cooked well and included some grilled onions. But I absolutely loved the battered fish tacos. I am still thinking about them days after our visit. The fish was crispy and the mango pico de gallo added the perfect freshness. The portion was plentiful that I struggled to finish my third taco, but it was so good I tried my best. Once we were done, we bussed our trays. Near the bussing area, there were extra utensils and a stack of to-go boxes, which is nice since we didn't have to ask for it. By the time we left, the line was wrapped around the stall and cars were circling the area to find a parking spot. Would definitely come back when we're in the area. read more

They claimed the wait was 45 minutes to avoid seating us then after realizing we would wait they suddenly had table ready for us. The server took 20+ minutes to get our drink order when she only had two other tables to attend. We wanted an order to go and she charged us an extra chicken when the order did not have it and we specifically asked for no meat. When we told our waitress of her mistake her expression immediately changed as well as her tone. Our first night in town we went to Noyo fish company for dinner. Our first time here of course we were visiting from out of town. Our motel was just about a block away. We walked up has a very small inside. You order first, then they give you a number. We found seating under the tented area. It's all outside nice they have it covered. A lot of picnic type tables. We found a small table with regular chairs. Happy to have a seat with a back. A few tables out on the dock patio boats are right there. Some birds bugging people over there but not as bad as it could be. They had bottled drinks and beer on tap and bottles. They also had a water station. Seemed like another local spot it was busy they whole time we were there. Very good fish! I had the fish sandwich and my husband had fish and chips. I had two small fish pieces on my sandwich. Another issue, at least for us, (my husband), was the difficulty in accessibility to the restroom-- for a handicapped person. There is a ramp, but it is on the opposite side of the restroom, AND midway at the side of the restaurant!! For someone who has EXTREME difficulties in walking...VERY DISAPPOINTED !! Besides that, it is one toilet for entire restaurant ... i had to wait 5 minutes for my turn...ridiculous.
