The ambiance was good, but that was about it. The oysters weren't chilled, the stuffed sole was barely warner than room temperature, and the steak on the skewers was tough and of poor quality. To top it off, the server spilled water on half the table while refilling glasses and just left it. For the cost, this place is definitely not worth it. It was a pretty disappointing experience. Nice spot! It Doesn't necessarily feel like you are heading to a harbor, as it is tucked away off a small street, but Once there, it is a beautiful property (house-ish vibe) with lots of greenery. Loved!! We passed the street/driveway entrance so we got a quick tour of the Noyo fishery section down below. That looks like a cool spot too! But coming back up, the turn is extremely tight so be aware. It is a small street. Not knowing the area, I was kind of thinking it would be a spot on the harbor near the ocean, but it is on the river. Big difference but a very nice view and spot. We found Parking right away but it wasn't busy. I am not really sure how that would work if packed with people. Maybe the grounds are spread out enough for more parking. I didn't really look. We dined outside on the deck, as the air was not cold. The deck area is very nice, and it does have heat lamps, and overlooks a harbor on the Noyo river. Peaceful view. Watched a couple of seals and small boats float by. We did not go to the bar area inside but it was very cute inside. The food was tasty and presented well. Personally I would have liked more salad in my tuna "salad" dish but the tuna was nicely seared and flavorful. The fish-n-chips were nicely fried and well battered. Came here on a Friday evening with my fiancé. We enjoyed the outdoor patio scenery area but waited quite a while for a waiter to get to us even though it was a slow day. And then the food took a while to come out as well. Definitely on the pricey side for food and drinks. I got a lasagna and my fiance got a filet mignon. Lasagna was good but there was a strand of hair stuck in the cheese on the bread. We just didn't eat that toast. Filet was a bit dry. Nice bathrooms. read more

Heard about this place when we stopped off at a winery on our way to Fort Bragg. The Happy House was strongly recommend, so we went (we ended up going twice during our stay and would have gone again if we were staying longer)! We really enjoyed everything we ordered !! I got the brunch menu and had the breakfast quesadilla which was packed with heavenly fresh ingredients. The food came out super hot and amazing. The alcoholic drinks you can for brunch were also mind blowing. I got the Long Island Iced Coffee which whoa, this saved my life after the day before being my birthday. HarborView is a great spot in the Fort Bragg's area to enjoy a nice dinner. It was a bit difficult to find from the main road but I loved that the patio overlooks the harbor. They offer everything from lunch, happy hour, and dinner. We didn't have a reservation but had no difficulties getting seated inside. We started with the Rose Lemon Drop and Honeybee French 75. Which they were both on the acidic side, the flavors were good and balanced. I loved the presentation of my martini! I later also got the Candy Cap Old Fashioned which tasted like your standard Old Fashioned (note the branded ice cube though!). For food, we shared the Fresh Crab Cakes on special and the Gnocchi Alfredo. The Crab Cakes were fresh and came with a mango sauce and slaw. The Gnocchi dish was very large and had good flavor from the sauce, mushrooms, and meat. This was certainly perfect to share! My only note was that servers could be more attentive. It took some time before being checked in on, water glasses fell empty, and we asked for bread to pair with the pasta that never came. On this visit, we arrived about 1:30 after a long drive. We had to wait a few minutes at the hostess stand before we were seated. But once we were seated, service was quick and friendly. I started with one of the speciality seasonal cocktails: the Spiced Pear Martini. So good, and pretty to look at, too. For lunch I had the Avocado Quinoa Salad ($19) -- Rainbow quinoa topped with mangoes. fresh salad, feta cheese in a lemon vinaigrette set on a bed of fresh avocados. I enjoyed every bite. Here for Happy Hour. Although there was only my husband and I and a couple at another table, service was extremely slow. When we arrived, many of the staff were hanging out in the bar area chit chatting. We were seated on the patio very promptly with menus and we were brought water right way by a friendly staff person. She told us our waiter would be with us shortly. We must have waited 15 min before our waiter appeared. We ordered wine, gin/tonic, and calamari off the Happy Hour menu. All food items except for a hamburger are $14. Calamari at $14 is steep for Happy Hour, plus it tasted like the fry oil was left over from the Memorial Day weekend. We had a reservation for 4 at 6 pm on a Thursday night. We arrived early, about 5:45 pm, and were seated immediately. It was our first time to dine there during the week so it was not as busy as usual. Parking is shared with the attached hotel and is on a side hill so there is a possible walk involved to get down to the restaurant. We sat inside with a view of the Marina, as it was chilly outside, although there were diners outside on the deck overlooking the river and harbor. Space heaters were provided. Everything was excellent, Clam Chowder, Stuffed Petrale, Halibut and Scallops. Great view, excellent service, ambiance with wood paneling and artwork. We are not local to the area but always include this restaurant in our plans. Probably the best dining experience in the area for us. read more

We saw some sea lions and lots of boats heading in and out. While the atmosphere was fantastic, the food was a total miss. I ordered the Halibut, which was a special. It was completely over cooked - not flakey at all, a bit rubbery, and the little flavor that was there, was very light and came from the sauce. My mom ordered the Schnitzel which came fettuccine. The fettuccine had no flavor, and the most flavorful part of that dish was the sautéed kale on the side and the mushroom sauce that came topped on the schnitzel. Aside from the lackluster and disappointing mains, that were absolutely not worth what we paid, I did like the nuts and olives to start, this was a unique offering from the traditional bread basket, and these were very flavorful. Service also wasn't that attentive, we saw our server maybe 3 times. While I wouldn't recommend coming here for food, if you want a drink with a great water view, then this could be a good option. read more

Found this hidden gem in Noyo Harbor! We've been to Fort Bragg many times and wanted to try somewhere we've never been and boy have we been missing out! We started with drinks - I had the best Rose Lemon Drop Martini ever!! Wow, it was perfection. I also had the pear martini and it additionally was exceptional. We had the deviled eggs as the appetizer and devoured them. My husband got the scallops for dinner and they were perfectly prepared and the sauce was out of this world. We ended with the cheesecake and ate every bite. We sat in the patio overlooking the harbor and they have blankets have heaters to keep you comfortable.
