Came here on a Friday evening with my fiancé. We enjoyed the outdoor patio scenery area but waited quite a while for a waiter to get to us even though it was a slow day. And then the food took a while to come out as well. Definitely on the pricey side for food and drinks. I got a lasagna and my fiance got a filet mignon. Lasagna was good but there was a strand of hair stuck in the cheese on the bread. We just didn't eat that toast. Filet was a bit dry. Nice bathrooms.

Stopped by while on a return trip back to AZ. Been here long ago and they have what I wanted: Seafood & outside dining! I was hoping for sunset but in mid June we got June Gloom! No worries! The food I ordered was exactly what I was looking for along with the very tasty clam chowder! I've not had it like this in a very, very long time

Heard about this place when we stopped off at a winery on our way to Fort Bragg. The Happy House was strongly recommend, so we went (we ended up going twice during our stay and would have gone again if we were staying longer)! We really enjoyed everything we ordered !! The black magic Mojito was defined. The most unique one I've ever had brussels sprouts were a surprise and cooked perfectly really enjoyed the Caesar salad salad, the pizza, and calamari! The view was great!

Had brunch here this morning. Loved their Eggs Benedict with Salmon! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the layers of mushroom, spinach and hollandaise were delicious! I also enjoyed their mocktail made with blood orange juice and ginger ale. They topped the drink with freeze dried cranberries! Nice touch! The yacht harbor view was great too!

The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The outdoor seating was comfortable with the heaters and the view was beautiful. Our waitress was attentive and efficient.

If you don't mind spending a little more cash then come here. Great view of the harbor which is filled with seals, boats and kayakers. The view is amazing. The food is too notch as well. I got the brunch menu and had the breakfast quesadilla which was packed with heavenly fresh ingredients. The food came out super hot and amazing. The alcoholic drinks you can for brunch were also mind blowing. I got the Long Island Iced Coffee which whoa, this saved my life after the day before being my birthday. I also got the Orange Blossom Coffee which is not going to be a staple in my house after being sooooo good.

Harbor View Bistro & Bar - Breakfast Review Another amazing morning at Harbor View Bistro & Bar. The breakfast here continues to impress every single time. The food is consistently excellent--fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service is top-notch as well; the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcome. And of course, the views... absolutely unbeatable. Enjoying a great meal while overlooking the harbor is hard to beat and adds something special to the whole experience. I truly can't recommend this eatery enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Harbor View Bistro & Bar should be at the top of your list for a fantastic breakfast. Very dog friendly!

HarborView is a great spot in the Fort Bragg's area to enjoy a nice dinner. It was a bit difficult to find from the main road but I loved that the patio overlooks the harbor. They offer everything from lunch, happy hour, and dinner. We didn't have a reservation but had no difficulties getting seated inside. We started with the Rose Lemon Drop and Honeybee French 75. Which they were both on the acidic side, the flavors were good and balanced. I loved the presentation of my martini! I later also got the Candy Cap Old Fashioned which tasted like your standard Old Fashioned (note the branded ice cube though!). For food, we shared the Fresh Crab Cakes on special and the Gnocchi Alfredo. The Crab Cakes were fresh and came with a mango sauce and slaw. The Gnocchi dish was very large and had good flavor from the sauce, mushrooms, and meat. This was certainly perfect to share! My only note was that servers could be more attentive. It took some time before being checked in on, water glasses fell empty, and we asked for bread to pair with the pasta that never came. The staff was very kind upon interaction but slow otherwise.

Best hot toddy I've ever had. Come here every year. Always a beautiful view. Giving it five stars and I haven't even had my dinner yet. Staff is always kind and accommodating.

Came for my birthday - unable to secure a room so we stayed around the corner and came here for dinner - had a reservation, thankfully, got a lovely table outside with a lovely view. The food was delicious as well, thank goodness because it is a bit pricey - we enjoyed our fancy cocktails and appreciated the available blankets when a little breeze came up. When in Fort Bragg, do not miss this place!

Self station for Tartar Sauce Fish and chips had a good fish flavor, the food came out steaming hot, and love the batter. Personally by the end of the meal you start to feel sick from how much fried food you've consumed. But I also ordered fried fish, shrimp and those both came with fries. They give you a good portion of fries. The fries are good, nice flavor and crisp. The fried shrimp were huge and sweet, would definitely get again. I would not get the Clam Chowder again, I appreciate the huge pieces of Clams, but overall there is a unique taste to the chowder, it's not bad but no comparison to their fried Fish & Shrimp. Love the views, we went in the evening so they had a few warmers on closer to where you order and a custom wood burning fire pit on the water. It was originally a metal tank used for processing fish guts, converted it into a fire pit to burn wood. We saw a few boats go by and had a nice view of the bridge above. Awesome views and food for the price.

Not busy on a Sunday evening we were sat at a table in the lounge/bar which was off to the side with a huge window. Pretty much immediately the waters were poured and french bread arrived, not many places starting with free bread these days. M ordered up a Mai Tai and I had a bottle of sparkling water. It took us a bit to go through the menu, I like to see if I can get a variety of items to add some excitement to the palate.... First up the chef's Clam Chowder, this version had some small dice vegetables, was a good medium thickness, and off white in color. Unfortunately the vegetables and diced potatoes made the clams and flavor secondary, in my opinion. That was followed up with six triangle shape won tons with a tasty mix of shrimp and sauce. Dungeness crab cakes were delivered and we each took one of the breaded and fried 3ounce or so cakes, plenty of crab and they were good. Ceviche was great and plenty of shrimps to enjoy with the house made tortilla chips. The Spinach salad hit the spot and finished our buffet of choices nicely. We took a slice of Lemon cheesecake back to the room for a treat later. The service was attentive, average. Everything was good but I didn't feel as though anything was outstanding. Overall, portion sizes especially the amount of protein in the dishes were a little disappointing, but they certainly deliver on Thai flavors when you're craving it. Koa Soi Chang Mai Curry Egg Noodle Soup (4/5): Egg noodles have a satisfying chew to them with some extra fried noodles over top to add a bit of crunch. Soup was savory, but I just wanted all the flavors to be amped up more (more tang! more spice!). Fantastic option for a rainy and / or sick day though! Panang Curry w/ Pork (3.5/5): Pork was a bit overcooked and chewy, but thinly sliced enough to not be a problem. Plenty of vegetables, but a little sparse on the pork unfortunately. The curry itself had great flavor: great balance of sweet, creamy, and savory across the spices and coconut. However, the curry ran very thin and ate more like a soup. Angel Wings (3.5/5): Chicken was juicy and tender, but there was no crunch on the outside and the skin was still the soft / slightly slimy texture. The sauce is a great sweet and salty combo. The side salad wasn't the freshest, but they aren't the star anyways.
