I have a lot of hair and no body/volume. My appt was with Mark. I was a few min early. He took me right away and was very hospitable. Long story short, the highlights came out fabulous! They blended in perfectly and brightened it all up. Not brassy at all. Can't say enough great things about highlights. I kind of left it up to him to help me decide the cut. I'm super picky about my hair. It's fine and thin, so I find it difficult to find a stylist who knows how to work with my hair. Sounds crazy, but it's not. After moving back to The Heights from the west side of town, I wanted to find a new stylist. I tried a few places, when I stumbled upon John. Actual, my husband stumbled upon him and while in a rut to find a new stylist, my husband suggested I try his. He said, and I quote, "John gives really good head massages. I feel weird, because I really like massages." That sold me! I saw John for the first time a couple of years ago and I am so glad I did! He gives THE BEST massage when shampooing me. They are beyond amazing. He knows how to work with fine/thin hair, and does an AMAZING job with color! He is super friendly and funny! He is also honest so if you say you want a certain cut or style and he thinks it may not look as good on you as the hair model, he will nicely tell you no then suggest ways to do a similar cut that will work for you! Came here on a whim for an eyebrow wax. I didn't have an appointment but I noticed on Yelp that they accepted walk-ins. They were able to take me within 30 mins from the time I walked in which was perfect! I ran an errand and returned to the salon. The staff is friendly, and the salon is clean and has a cozy cute feel. They are very reasonably priced; $12 for an eyebrow wax and my brows look great! Perfectly shaped and trimmed up.
