It would be nice if you updated your hours on yelp so people wouldn't drive all the way there to see that you're closed.

But that's not what this is about: this cozy corner spot surprised us in the best way. My biker buddy, "Secret Squirrel ~ Filter," had the Reuben and declared it one of his top five--looked and tasted fantastic. As for me (Rider name "1/2 Time") had the Steak and Cheese Benedict: two English muffin halves topped with seasoned steak strips, sautéed bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepper jack, two poached eggs, hollandaise, paprika, and herbs--it was delicious and fairly priced. They don't serve alcohol, so I missed a Screwdriver, but the iced tea was surprisingly good (and that's not always easy to pull off). Service was prompt and friendly. The cashier stood out--huge smile and wonderful attitude; I wish I'd gotten her name. Fun moment: she mentioned her dad was Navy and joked about names he told her for us Marines--Reply was yup us to we mostly called them Squids. But when push came to shove we always stood together. One Team One Fight! If you get a chance stop in and when you do tell them a Old marine on Yelp called "1/2 Time" told you. We don't get anything, but they will know that I was true to my word and did leave a review.

My first time was enjoying the Club... so big I couldn't finish it in the time I had to, so it was lunch the next day . Recently my wife and I went for breakfast. We both had the Chicken fried steak , hash brown potatoes, scrambled eggs( fluffy) and toast. It was delicious and I would order it again. The staff is very friendly , eager to fill you coffee even when it's not their table . You can see how they all work for the common goal of serving the customers. In today's world that's such a welcome change and makes you build loyalty to the restaurant. If you wish to have a great Breakfast, they had a lot to choose from, or a great Lunch; come to the Table and have an experience that will Leave you Both Happy and Full - without emptying your wallets.

After placing our order it took 20 minutes to receive. . I had the simple plate which consisted of two eggs, grits or potatoes, toast or biscuits for an up charge and meat of your choice. The grits were outstanding. The toast was had like it had been sitting under the heat lamp. The country ham came in thinly sliced pieces and well cooked. The scramble eggs were way overcooked. My friend had the garden delight omelette and he said it was very delicious. He stated the potatoes were ok. Based on service from kitchen and price for food we will more than likely not return.

First, there were plenty of choices at 11ish when we got there. They had been open since 530 and business was good (the store had a steady flow). The workers were all pleasant and patient as we got our order of 7 people togather. The gentlemen (who I believe said he owned the store) was so helpful with chatting with us about the area! I felt bad holding him up with the chatter but he gave vibes that it is all good :) The donuts... were great! Soft inside with a well defined shell. Not overly sweet or gooey. The sandwiches? Well. We have had a few in our lives, and this is hands down the best. Their donut bun has no glaze, and this made the sandwich so much easier to manage without stickiness or contents sliding out. And the donut itself was gentle sweet and sooooo soft. Not airy like some places, genuinely soft pillow sandwich holder. Sandwiche tasted perfectly balanced. For the first time.. i didnt walk away from eating a donut sandwich heavy with oily regrets. I was happy! He said they had another store that is bigger and has even more things. We definitely will be back!

The owner is a 1 woman show. She told me she does everything. If she gets busy she'll have her boyfriend who owns the building come help her. Obviously they specialize in Lobster. It's main Lobster which can be quite expensive. She is Thai so she incorporates traditional Thai flavor in her food. I ordered the Lobster Tom Yum soup. Boy was this soup plentiful and flavorful! I wish I got her name but the owner believes in never going hungry. The bowl is huge and there were chunks of main lobster sitting on top as well as mixed in the bowl. I tasted strong hot and sour flavors. Just a fragrant broth of lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves, fish sauce. I like mine spicy so she gave me some sate sauce to add. It's her own special recipe I must say it's one of the best soups I've had. Not to mention the bowl is full of noodles too! I wanted to go back and get a Lobster roll which came highly recommended but I ran out of time on my trip. I'm all for supporting small family businesses.. and it's woman owned!
