The acoustic is so bad the place is really loud when they are busy. It was hard to keep a conversation. Parking is a challenge during their peak hours. (The Gregory location is too steep, the front of my Prius scraped hard!) Server could be more attentive. I always had to wait and ask for drink refills. The crab cake benedict is decent. The fried potato is pretty plain. Hollandaise can be better. The color of the sauce was dull not bright yellow, and I think I got a fried over easy egg underneath instead of poached egg. Crab cake was extremely fishy. My partner said the pancakes were good but bacon was bland. Tasted like cardboard. read more

Service was terrible but food is usually good. It was very unorganized which probably complicated issues on service. Never quite got a chance to eat as over 10+ parties were seated infront of us and there was o talking with staff on this. After a couple hours if we left. Great experience here! The restaurant itself is super cute and well maintained. Everything was very clean, which I feel like you don't always get that at breakfast spots. Our waitress was really nice and stopped by the table a good amount (not too often, not too little). The amount of food you got was just the right amount. We didn't leave with leftovers, but also didn't leave hungry either. The Strawberry lemonade spritzer was so delicious! It was really refreshing on a super hot morning. We have been here several times too many to count. Well this time I ordered one of my favs Shrimp Benny. After taking my second bite I noticed a small shout 1.5 inch hair with a knot at the end. On my way to Orlando decided to make a stop for some good coffee and breakfast. Walking in I was greeted by the lovely hostess in the front who seated me. Wish I had caught her name. Incredibly welcoming and sweet. Immediately the grogginess from my long drive disappeared. Cassandra was my server, she was so great! So attentive and kind, there wasn't many people in yet so we got a chance to chat a bit. I was also welcomed with a delicious plate of complimentary beignets for first time customers. Delicious! I ordered the crab cake Benedict breakfast, so good and exactly what I was craving. A good hearty breakfast. I couldn't leave without purchasing one of their beautifully crafted mugs. Lots of seating, parking was easy and the food was seriously next level. Our server was fantastic, making sure our drinks were topped off and frequently checking in on us. The modern atmosphere is perfectly paired with the upbeat and friendly staff. I got the Benedict burger and I was blown away. The burger was juicy and not dry like most restaurants. The egg was perfectly cooked and the exploded (literally) when I took my first bite. We headed there today before our shopping trip for groceries. We were greeted immediately at the door by two friendly faces (one I recognize from a previous visit who is always on her A Game for customer service) and seated in booth. I ordered a Blackberry Smash Mocktail and it lived up to its expectations. I love ginger ale and mint! It was a perfect drink choice for menu choice. I ordered the Bacon Lover's BLT&A with Potatoes and my friend ordered the Biscuit & Gravy with Potatoes. My favorite thing about Another Broken Egg is their baked bacon! I found the BLT a great film me up sandwich with fresh tomato, lettuce and avocado. The potatoes were hot and just right. My friend stated they have the best biscuit and gravy. Our server kept his coffee cup full and checked our table often along with her other tables. The place is always clean and runs like a well oiled machine. read more

Got seated fairly quick even after my lady put us on the waitlist at the wrong location. Lol was greeted shortly after seating by the bartender as she was watching over a few tables as well. The vibe from the decor was perfect and seemed like a clean establishment. I got basic biscuits & gravy but was still delish and my lady had the cinnamon roll French toast which she enjoyed, but swapped to andouille sausage for her meat, it was flavorful with a slight kick of spice. I got a Irish coffee for my first drink & switched to strawberry mimosa after watching bartender just pour one it looked good, but my pour wasn't nearly the same as the one she had just poured; mine went to half mark of cup while the other I watched her pour was nearly at the top of the cup if not a 1/4 off top. For a $10 glass I was hoping mine wasn't half filled... so that's why 4 stars. read more

Another one who's never had a bad meal here. They're usually pretty busy, and there's a reason for it. It's comfortable, the food is great and the servers are on it. I've been to Another Broken Egg Cafe in a few other cities as well. I always love the variety of their menu. I came to visit on a Thursday morning with family and it was busy. I got the skinny omelette which had egg white, goat cheese, red peppers, and asparagus. It also came with an English muffin and a side of fruit. I'm always a fan of goat cheese and the omelette was perfect. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The husband and I shared a hot chocolate, which was pretty good. They should rename it Another Cold Egg. We have been here several times and regardless of what we order, the eggs are cold without fail. Pancakes of all flavors are very good and filling. Suggest skipping the homemade sausage patties. The service is great as is the atmosphere but just don't expect hot or warm eggs. read more

Had to check out the new Another Broken Egg on Nine Mile Rd. I love the one downtown, but this one is very close to my house. I got there early as the doors opened up. Sat at the bar. The bartender's name is Sage and we had a great conversation as I waited for my order. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelet and added crab meat. You can add crab meat to just about anything on the menu and it's a game changer. I had the City grits and the biscuit. Besides the grits being a little cool, the food was excellent. This is the first week of being opened so I expected some hiccups. Out on the floor, everything seemed organized. I can't wait to make this one of my regular breakfast spots. We enjoy starting our day with a good breakfast and Another Broken Egg Cafe was our choice while visiting Pensacola. There are several locations in and around Pensacola and we ate at the E. Nine Mile Road Restaurant. We ate there on Saturday & Sunday and both servers DREW (Saturday) and JENNIE B (Sunday) were exceptional. The Columbian Blend and the Barista House Blend Coffee was GREAT! The Tables were spaced nicely, providing enough privacy and the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting. The restaurant was full but it was easy to have a convo without talking loudly. The meal started with excellent coffee and some Biscuit Beignets followed by a Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and a Belgian Waffle. On Sunday I ordered the 1/2 Traditional Benedict with some Louisiana Gumbo. The ambience was warm and inviting and the service was top notch. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes on the menu. read more

These were the worst City Grits I've ever had. They did not put cheese on them! How could they forget such a main ingredient of City Grits! I really enjoyed my cup of coffee; maybe it's because I'm a sucker for a cute mug but I loved the mugs that it came in as well. I wish I could've kept it . The barbacoa tostada thing was pretty good but what I want to praise from that dish was those potatoes!!! Oh my goodness those potatoes were sooooooo yummy!!! They were perfectly crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. They really got those potatoes down perfectly. Now the key west pancakes were sooooo interesting and yummy!! Cute little place and our server was great. But it did take a while for someone to great us at the door and let us know that someone would be with us. Had to try the cinnamon roll French toast and it was amazing. I would definitely come back for this again. The breakfast potatoes were a little on the dry side though. I would also like to point out that I love that their sausage patties were the best I've had at any breakfast place. My husband is a breakfast person, I'm not because I always say they all taste the same - especially sausage links / patties. My first time at this restaurant - though it's mentioned that this location is pretty new. As I walked through to my table, I tried inconspicuously looking at other entrees at tables. Which made it even more difficult trying to decide on what to order. I am a lover of french toast so I was thrilled to see Cinnamon Roll French Toast! I was a little worried they might be a "bit" too sweet but the cinnamon balanced out the sweetness of the fruit and the syrup and who doesn't love fresh fruit? I'm not a fan of bacon and eggs so I let my brunch partner have mine! The other item: Bourbon Street Pancakes - were ordered because it was the first item we saw when we walked in! You can't tell by the photo but there were so many banana slices in between the pancakes with pecans and a rum butter sauce. That also came with bacon and eggs but I should have mention that sausage and eggs were another option - which we chose! All Benedicts are off the charts, and I've eaten a lot of Grits in my life and nothing comes close to touching these. Stopped in for breakfast a few weeks ago with my husband and in laws. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast and have been dreaming of it ever since. It was super soft and gooey loaded with cinnamon filling and drizzled with a wonderful cream cheese frosting then topped with fresh berries. Everyone at the table tried a bite and agreed it was delicious. My husband ordered an omelette and enjoyed it as well. Terrible, except for one dish that they are discontinuing because they say it's seasonal....???!!! Well, I've been to Another Broken Egg at least 8 times since they opened in the Pensacola area, and I can honestly say that every time I've been here it has continually gotten worse.... This last time, on April 8th, at the 9 mile location, was the end of my being nice about it...so that's why I'm writing this.... I ordered a simple egg/sausage/biscuit/country potatoes/side of gravy breakfast, w/coffee...... My girlfriend ordered the Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes/order of bacon, w/rum butter sauce and a fruity drink. My simple breakfast was disgusting....the only thing truly edible were the eggs....my sausage patties were made from "hamburger meat", NOT pork, so they tasted nothing like a sausage!!!....the biscuit was dried out, the country potatoes were dried out and flavorless, the gravy would have been good if it hadn't been "room temperature"!!!! So basically I could only eat the eggs, and the potatoes....and the only way I could eat the potatoes was to put the cold gravy on top of them so i could choke them down....as for my $5 DOLLAR 1 CUP of coffee, it was good but would have been better and a better value, if my server had ever come back and offered me a refill or two for the $5 DOLLAR CUP OF COFFEE(absolutely ediculous!!) ...but that never happened. The Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes w/rum butter sauce(which they're discontinuing at the end of April???) was absolutely awesome, only if my girlfriend hadn't offered me half of hers, I would have walked away from this place hungry.... Overall....this chain's reputation is waining...and that's too bad, because the 1st and 2nd time I went here, it was great....now...not so much.. read more
