Came another day and we tried the polonza benedict w/ potatoes and the blueberry pancakes!!! So yummy!

Mimosa flight

I was in town for a few days and decided to sit at the bar for a bite. The bartenders Bea and Morgan were great! They explained everything well and offered great conversation. The mimosa flight was delicious and basically had a full bottle of champagne. The breakfast burger was also quite tasty. Will have to make sure I go again when I come back!

Celebrating my birthday with my wife today at Polonza Bistro was a real treat! We began with an appetizer of Pimento Cheese Fries, which are addictive! Then we got Chicken And Waffles and the Fried Steak And Egg Stack. Both were incredible with great flavor. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the best food.

Steak and eggs

Top notch brunch. Steak and Eggs with home potatoes. Mimosa Flight was delicious. Lemonade mimosa was the best one

I ordered the scrambled eggs, bacon (well-done!), home fries, and toast. I accidentally received a biscuit instead of toast, but the food was so good that it didn't even matter. My food came out within five minutes of me ordering, my water was never empty, and the tables were spaced out far enough that I didn't feel like I was on top of anyone else. Hate that all other brunch spots have been ruined for me. I will certainly be back. I visited Polonza Bistro on 08/03/2025 around 2PM.

First time here, we were headed to the Pawdi Gras to get Lucy some dog time and decided to try for brunch. We seat outside which was a little cool but it had a nice feel to it. I had the Cajun Benedict and it was pretty good. Service was slow that's the main reason for the 3 stars. I would recommend trying your self to see what you experience

A pleasantly cozy brunch spot, good for smaller groups. We visited on Mother's Day and the efficiency of our server Thomas was admirable. My "Toad in the Hole" (fried egg on sourdough with arugula) might've been messy to eat, but it was very savory and my partner loved his sunrise burger- commenting on the quality of the croissant. The fries were FRESH. Thomas had an eagle eye on our water cup levels, we were impressed he noticed with how many guests he was attending to. The noise level is something to be wary of if dining with hearing-aid wearing loved ones; I overheard a couple saying it was very hard to hear with all the bustling. A week day might be better. The warmly lit restroom was surprisingly clean even with the rush. Sitting near the entrance on a busy day can be overwhelming as guests are constantly in line to wait, peering down at you finishing your latte. I would also recommend asking for a honey or lavender flavor if you order the latte, I found it quite plain. Amazing location, especially if it's a nice day, bring your furry friend and enjoy the outdoor seating they have.

My friends and I stopped in for brunch a couple weekends ago. This was my first time dining here, I had dinner plans so I wanted to order something lite. I went with the Brussel sprout appetizer and a side of fries. The Brussel sprouts were a very large portion. I did end up eating all of them, which was probably excessive. They were super crispy and flavorful. The fries were okay. Our server was very nice and friendly.

Terrible/rude service, especially at the bar. Food also isn't anything special. Only thing going for them is location.

Great sandwiches and soup. Nice neighborhood vibe with an unhurried atmosphere. It seemed to be very popular with the locals.

They hit that mark, but it cost me $40 with tax & tip. That is for just a salad and an order of french fries! The water came quickly in a real glass and tasted excellent. Very clean and cold, and greatly appreciated. Since it was a real glass I did not ask for a straw which is unusual for me. I enjoyed a nice view of the skatepark across the street as I dined, and watching all the people having a good time in the outdoors was refreshing. Most restaurants don't offer a view like this. There are a set of dining bars with chairs at the windows on either side of the door to amplify the view, but I opted for a traditional table since there were many available when I entered. As for the food... well, it was good, but not great. The $14 iceberg wedge was dotted with some delicious pancetta and gorgonzola cheese, and the lettuce was super fresh and crisp. Where it missed the mark was the overly mayonnaisey dressing. It really needed some more seasoning or something and I could not taste any buttermilk at all, even though it is called a "herb buttermilk dressing." The single cherry tomato (halved) was delicious and sweet, as were the 4 thin slices of radish. While the presentation was nice, it really needed more tomatoes and radish in my opinion, and a stoutly buttermilk dressing. The duck fat fries were crisp, too crisp. I enjoy the soft mushy potato inside the crispness of lard-fried potatoes, but very few of these offered that. They were generally too crisp, and some were crispy all the way thru making them a solid crisp. They came mostly unseasoned so I had to use the salt shaker generously. The sausage bits were good but a bit on the greasy side. The dipping sauce was mild, bland and oily, and I wished they had offered a ketchup alongside as well. Whether homemade or store bought, ketchup would have added color and some much needed acidity to the plate. Your mileage will vary, but for me, there are better options in my price range and this is not a place I can take hungry teenagers.

The steaks were outstanding, prepared perfectly. We had two filets, steak trio and ribeye, all were cooked perfectly, great flavor and texture. The Brussels were excellent as well as the broccoli rabe and Brownie dessert was outstanding. Excellent service by Allen! I had only one opportunity, martini should be mixed to be much colder than was served. I did see this in previous reviews as well so maybe something that should be addressed with bartending staff (30 second stir or shake in ice and then added to chilled glass) Can't wait to visit again!

Poorest cut of meat I've ever had. Brussel sprouts were hard as a rock. Asked for rolls twice. Martini added extra $4 WHEN MENU WAS 13. not $17. not dirty and not shaken cold. I'm a simple customer. I just wanted a shaken martini and a good steak. Aupoire sauce was bland. Manager never came over to our table to check. Bounced around to the other customers. Wanted Jacksons but unfortunately chose the District. Blue cheese wedge has a teaspoon of hard dried out bacon. Waiter apologized after we said we didn't need a doggie back The steak was raw and wouldn't take it home . So, he took a drink off. LOL If You spend $150 on dinner, it should be good. Bad experience. raw grissley disgusting ribeye

Exposed, real old brick that's from god knows when. Lots of copper old fashion coffee roasters. Bespoke bar. I dig the vibe and haven't even tried the patio yet. The Irish latte was delish. The whipped baileys cream on top delightful. My husband had the French 75 which was mildly citrus in such a pleasant way. Zero burn or bitterness for a straight black coffee beverage which impressed me! We had an omelette and the blueberry muffin. Omelette was tasty, fresh, hot and had ample cheese and ham. I liked the Dijon topped on. The muffin was really extra. It was large and it was covered in coffee cake sugar kind of crumble. Really big, generous serving of blueberries. It was super moist.
