In 2023, I found Michelle Ross and her company online and was satisfied with the reviews she received from property owners. I was wary about Property Managers due to an unprofessional prior experience with a different company but through the years I have been exceedingly happy with the service and quality of care my home has received with Jensen Property Management. As a military veteran I appreciate her no nonsense demeanor but also the care she takes in handling issues. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and has "a guy" for every job. I highly recommend Michelle and her team to any homeowner who is in the market for a property manager because you will not find a better person especially at the price-point they offer. After reading several overly positive Yelp reviews, I can't help but question their authenticity based on our actual experience. We were happy in our rental house and had no issues until we declined to sign another one-year lease and requested month-to-month; we had already rented the house for two years and were starting to look for a home to purchase. Despite always paying rent on time, keeping the property clean, and causing no problems whatsoever, we were suddenly served a 60-day notice. We were then told the owners were moving back in--only to later discover the property was renovated and re-rented. Both the owner and Jensen PM were disingenuous...first to tell us they were moving back in, and then renting the home again. Our security deposit was used toward restoring the home to like-new condition and wanted to charge us for normal wear and tear items, which forced us to hire an attorney. While we were able to recover a small additional amount, it should never have come to that. I have always been praised for how I kept my apartments and rental homes and always got my full deposit returned. Michelle's demeanor throughout this process was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She spoke down to me often in emails and texts. For example, she told us we can't have carpets cleaned until we move out, but we already moved our stuff to storage to meet their 60-day notice to vacate. When I told her we cleaned the carpets, she replied "You can't clean the carpets until you move out, I told you this". In my opinion, Michelle and her team were dishonest, disrespectful, and handled this situation terribly. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others looking to rent a home through Jensen Property Management. | Statement of Facts Regarding Tenancy and Move-Out at Tobias Ct., Temecula We rented the property located on Tobias Ct., Temecula, CA for a period of two years. During our tenancy, rent was paid timely and the property was maintained in good condition. At lease renewal, we requested to move to a month-to-month tenancy because we were considering purchasing a home. We were initially informed that the owners had approved this request. Two days later, that approval was rescinded and we were issued a 60-day notice to vacate, with the stated reason that the owners intended to move back into the property. We vacated the property prior to the expiration of the 60-day notice. After vacating, we observed that the property was listed for rent on Zillow, which was inconsistent with the reason provided for termination of tenancy. Prior to move-out, we: Hired professional cleaners Used the property management-approved carpet cleaning vendor Treated the backyard with seed Passed the pre-inspection Despite this, we received $1,200 of a $3,500 security deposit. The deductions included charges for items that appear to constitute normal wear and tear or repairs that were excessive in scope and cost, including: Full replacement of exterior fence panels due to a small screw used to hang lights, rather than simple removal Replacement of the master bedroom carpet for a stain originating from the hallway bathroom, where spot repair or partial replacement was feasible A $600 charge for power washing the back patio, which was not left in a condition warranting that expense Charges associated with utilities for October, despite vacating the property in September and not using utilities during that period Due to the amount withheld, we retained legal counsel. During written communication, the property manager, Michelle Ross, stated that we were free to pursue the matter in court and indicated that doing so would not be new to her. Following attorney involvement, we were refunded an additional $700, though the full deposit was not returned. We elected not to pursue further legal action due to time constraints. Communication with the property manager, Michelle Ross, was dismissive and unprofessional, which contributed to the difficulty in resolving these matters. Do not rent,buy,or do any business with this reality..Michelle is very unprofessional & inconsiderate of her tenants..Once she gets you in the property, She can careless what you need from then on..We have black mold in our home. I had over flowing toilets & she never pulled the rugs.She would send some guys that did a half a×× job each time..Then we found mushrooms, growing out of my daughter's bathroom walls.. We ended up calling the city to get attention.. All she did was send somebody to clean the walls... Because I'm a single mother with one income. It's hard for me to get out of here. But I'm doing my best to save my money to get out of this home and she takes advantage of that situation. We have documents showing that we're getting sick & she can careless.. I've asked her nicely to please relocate us.And she refuses.. Like I said, she can care less about her tendons.When she gets you in her places.. I wish I could give this place a Zero stars. I fell into hardship and this woman took over my property. Unfortunately an eviction needed to be filed because I am a month behind on my rent do to losing my job. My problem with this woman is her lack of human decency when talking to tenants and how disrespectful she is for no reason. At the end of your day you have to do you job but there is no reason for a property manager to talk to tenants like they are nothing. She also decided to tell me about her recent conquests and how she evicted an elderly one legged man and threw him out with a sheriff as if she was proud of it. If I could give this company zero stars I would, however to post this review I had to give one. On April 2023, my husband and I moved to Temecula into one of the homes (Bristol Road) being managed by Michelle Ross (the owner and broker at Jensen Property Management). The primary individual that we were in communication with for the duration of our time living there was Michelle.  I am writing this review because we are being charged $1,400 due to an incorrect paint sheen used to touch up the walls. According to Michelle, the homeowner is claiming that we are the ones that used the wrong sheen. We didn't touch up any painted walls, we only filled and painted a few holes from some wall decorations. The mismatch paint sheen was there and very evident when we moved in which is why I mentioned "some walls need touch up" in my email to Michelle upon moving in. We had several friends and family members mention to us that whoever touched up this place before we moved in did a terrible job. Its interesting that when we moved in the homeowner was not involved which makes perfect sense because the homeowner hired Jensen Property Management to manage their property but now Michelle is telling us that the homeowner is accusing us of the poor paint job. We are not sure if that is true or if Michelle is just wanting to place the blame on the homeowner since she obviously did an inadequate inspection when the previous tenant moved out and we moved in or we wouldn't be having this discussion.   Email Date: 4/2/2023   "The kitchen cabinets are filthy, we scrubbed the outside of the fridge, the white floor portion of the fireplace has scuff marks everywhere (especially the corners), some walls need paint touch ups, the closet doors are scratched, a light is missing outside on the porch, there was a lot of water in the garage that we cleaned up prior to leaving (that the wood planks were sitting in), one of the cabinets in the kitchen (inside) is yellow, a "powered room" sign was left screwed in above the downstairs restroom so when we remove it there will be screw holes and will need to be filled and a paint touch up and the bathroom medicine cabinets have a lot of grime and the master bathroom shower door has a lot of soap scum/line crust. Also, the door handle is loose (where you put your thumb)."   Jensen Property Management didn't fix any of this. We used decorations to hide the patches of paint that didn't match, we replaced the light on the porch, tightened the handle on the front door and we deep cleaned the house ourselves prior to moving in.    Upon moving out we did the following:   1. Replaced the door stop as the one they provided was loose; 2. Patched and painted all holes where we hung decorations; 3. Deep cleaned all cabinets throughout the house. 4. Deep cleaned all bathrooms; 5. Deep cleaned all bedrooms; 6. Deep cleaned all baseboards; 7. Deep cleaned the built in bookshelves & mantle/fireplace; 8. Deep cleaned all windowsills; and 9. Vacuumed & mopped the floors. read more

Although, we had over 8 hours time difference, not only she kept the lines of communications open but, she ensure all maintenance and any issues that came up were resolved diligently and correctly. If you are looking for a fair minded, responsive, caring property manager, look no further than Michelle. Throughout my two and half year tenancy she responded to all of my needs promptly and effectively. When I gave my notice, which happened to be during the COVID quarantine, she set up virtual tours for prospective tenants so that strangers wouldn't have to enter my home. She has been in the business a long time and has relationships with various companies. Any worker she sent to my home was honest and did a wonderful job (already pre-screened by Michelle, so I knew they were trustworthy and would do the job right). If you read between the lines on the poor reviews posted here draw your own conclusions about people with poor credit, etc. And even bearing that in mind, Michelle does her best to satisfy. Thanks for taking our application money and leading us on! After viewing a property my fiancee and I loved, we went over our whole financial situation with Michelle. We let her know my fiancee did not have the best credit score, but mine was well above average. We had about 3.5 times the income of the house. We let her know everything including our business being open for about 6 months. She said it would most likely be something the landlord would have no problem with, and if he had any issues we could provide further documentation, show financing backing etc and we could easily talk with the landlord directly. She proceeded to take our application money and run our credit immediately. Having to try to get any kind of update from her, she informed us the "landlord" was out of the country. At the time of his expected return, we followed up again. Mind you, we were pretty much set on this house since she made it seem all would be fine. Finally getting any type of answer out of her she informed my fiancee his credit score was "Horrible" (rude!) and the business wasn`t open long enough.. What? We explained our whole story with you. Not to mention she said "I don`t have time for this" several times. Oh you don`t have time for paying customers?! We then asked to email the landlord and provide any type of additional documentation he may need. She refused to even give out his email or phone number and said she would forward it to him. Talk about poor customer service. I'm trying to rent a house with my boyfriend, I am a first time renter so dealing with all this is new and I'm doing this by myself as my boyfriend works overseas. I called and spoke with Michelle to set up a viewing of the property and was running late, I called when I got there (I couldn't find her number) and she said "that's funny, I don't have you down in my schedule". Because I wanted to wake up at 7 to drive from San Dumas to Murrietta during rush hour traffic. Then I proceeded to contact her everyday that week to no avail. I just received a call 3 days after my last message to her telling me the house was rented. Thanks for wasting my time. read more
