But instead she was super friendly and charming on the phone, really trying hard to figure out how to help me. But I knew my request was clearly not something she'd been asked for before, and not a part of their day to day business, so when I hung up, I figured it was probably less than a 50% chance that I'd ever hear from her. Then I get an email from her at 5:20 the same day, that included the specific map that I was looking for! Dang! It's so refreshing to receive this kind of service and assistance in 2026. Sadly, this is a rare occurrence in the age of Google and AI. Even to just have a human answer the phone is remarkable these days, but then to be treated as if you're a guest in a 5 star hotel, and to have someone go out of their way to help you with a request that is not what they typically provide to their clientele...is kind of amazing.
