Get this! Everything in this meal is delicious. I was hesitant because of the price, but they put in a decent amount of oxtails and the sides are equally good. The cabbage was cooked perfectly. Jerk An Tingz food truck was at Triceratops on Friday. It is expensive, but well worth the price. We had the sampler platter and the jerk chicken. I really enjoy the rice and beans, coleslaw, and plantains that come with the meat. I love the flavors. I'm so happy we get to have this food in the Lacey area. First I want to start by saying I am 100% Jamaican lived and was raised there for years and even now I visit Jamaica quite often my dad also has a Jamaican restaurant in Florida so I want you guys to understand that I know what I'm talking about. The food is good and the items are food we would sell in Jamaica but it would taste nothing like this food. This food truck doesn't use Jamaican seasonings which I use on the daily since every time I go to Jamaica I come back up with pounds of different seasonings it's impossible to taste like Jamaican food and to me to be Jamaican food if you are using American seasonings the patty is definitely one of the worst things on the menu DONT BUY I went often enough to try almost everything on the menu but my last time was when I went and it was this lady working and she was very rude I said I wanted oxitail then realized they recently made it so I can get 2 meat oxtail and chicken I said can I get it with the chicken she said next time you can get that then charged me without even asking if that's it which it wasn't even besides that she was just very rude. They don't sell curry goat which is HUGE in Jamaica and oxtail is only on the weekends which is the next HUGE dish in Jamaica. Washington needs a lot more Jamaican restaurants and food trucks because none of the ones we do have seems to be true authentic just came off the plane a week ago and wanted some Jamaican food then remembered I have no where to go so sad. Maybe I'll just have to open my own. I also was very supportive I posted I told a lot people about this place I even bought a group of 10 people with me before but that rude experience made me not want to support a business that didn't deserved it in the first place read more

Found this food truck by accident while wandering downtown Oly. I was very impressed with the jerk chicken plate. I almost never enjoy any type of coleslaw but this one I was in love with! The jerk chicken was very authentic. This food truck is definitely worth a visit. read more

My husband and I stopped by after hearing all the hype. We got the oxtails which were VERY good. Perfectly braised, finger lickin good. The jerk chicken was ok. A little dry IMO. We hired Jerk An Tingz to serve dinner at our wedding at a campground in Shelton and it was INCREDIBLE! They showed up promptly, stayed longer than contracted, gave my husband and I more food than we could possibly eat, offered us the leftover and were generally fabulous. Oh, and did I mention that the food was absolutely phenomenal? Everyone raved about it for days after! They really knocked it out of the park and were reasonably priced. We were so, so pleased with how dinner went. If you are considering this for an event, I'd highly recommend it. There are so many other overpriced, boring food truck options out there. First and last time customer .. wanted to try this place out at the depot today ..on the website is says open at 11am .. arrive there @2:30 pm excited to finally try out Jerkntingz for their (OXtail plate).. sadly I was told he was all out and was making a new batch and that it should be ready in 1 hour and a half .. decided to cut him some slack and returned 2 hours later and still was t ready .. so bummed out that I drove 45 mins and to hang around the Lacey area for another two hours just to return yet his popular dish wasn't ready read more

Found this place while at another food truck. Saw Jamaican patties so had to try it. Then I saw oxtail and ordered that. Usually you don't get much oxtail, but this was loaded! Also included rice and beans, veggies, plantain, and a cornbread fried. The food was delicious. My wife ate half my plate and wants to go back tomorrow night. The patties were exactly how I use to get when I lived in HI and my friend would give me. Service was quick, employee was very nice. I recommend giving it a try. I'm going back. read more

Jerk an Tingz is genuine Jamaican food. My Jamaican wife gives them the 100% yardie approval. Curry goat, Ackee and saltfish, peas and rice. It is worth the drive for the genuine ting. Ample parking next to the truck. Free parking across the street. Couple tables to eat if you wish. read more

I had the Shrimp Rasta Pasta on recently and it was amazing! The shrimp itself was fantastic, and the sauce was even better. My husband loves the Jerk Chicken (the spicier, the better).
