They treated her like she was a criminal and out of her mind. Well you know people always take time out of their day just to drive all the way to a doctor's office at an appointed time because they have nothing better to do!!! They could have squeezed her in instead of making her come back another day. Especially for an EKG. It doesn't take that long!! They also don't get very concerned when you have a serious problem and have had it for over a year and they act like they couldn't care less, then after being told about it they tell you to come back in 3 months and they will talk about it again. The doctors there appear to have graduated at the bottom of the their class! They don't appear to care at all, no one in that office does. The front office acts like you're bothering them!! I've heard this from several people, many have quit going there and found real doctors that actually do their jobs. Nothing like having your doctor come in and slouching over his chair and counter acting like what's wromg with you is nothing for him to be concerned about. You ask for treatment and he tells you nah, wait a few weeks and see what happens, take some tylonal. Gee thanks doc wish I would have thought of that!!! Give me a break. And people keep going there!

They are on top of my records and labs; they take the time to go over everything, listen to any fresh symptoms, speak in direct English, explaining everything from what the labs mean to what they recommend, and we discuss together how to move forward. The staff is exceptionally kind, and it is so easy to make appointments, check-in, what have you. Oh, and if you're lucky, there are dogs. I've met both Hansen, who is training to be a therapy dog, and Wilfred, who I don't see as often but introduced himself very politely a few years back when the practice moved to its current location. In short, I trust Murphy (whom I'm seeing right now) and Pauline (who I saw regularly before Murphy and still see every now and again), and everyone with the practice. It's the best of both worlds in a way; you have people with terrific nursing skills who are as brilliant as any physician I've ever seen, or, you could say, it's a double win with dogs on top.

I called and was told NO......Kerri would order this After the appt?? I asked them to reconsider since I am leaving the country for 2 moths days after the appt so it would be useless at that point.....again, sorry but NO?? Well I called my HMO (Alingment Health) and a very nice person there said there is no reason I should not be able to get blood panel done before my appt, so he called them (Peavine family practice) and he was also told NO!! He came back on the line and suggested i switch my primary care physician, stating "they refused the request and were very unprofessional in how they spoke to him!! I guess if you just want to just "follow instructions", this practice might be fine for you, but I thought going to the doctor was supposed to be about the patient.....and if you feel the same way.....don't go here!!

I have been dealing with ongoing GI symptoms since the 29th, which led me to seek care at urgent care and then the emergency room. After my ER visit, I was instructed to follow up with my primary care doctor. The soonest appointment they could give me was 14 days later, despite the fact that my symptoms have been persistent and concerning. Today, I received a call confirming my appointment -- only to be told that because I now have a cough and cold symptoms, they will not see me in the office. So after weeks of being sick, multiple visits elsewhere, and doing exactly what I was told to do, I am once again left without care. What is the purpose of having a primary care physician if they cannot evaluate ongoing illness or coordinate follow-up after an ER visit? At this point, I could have simply returned to urgent care and at least been seen by a provider with some level of bedside manner. This experience has felt dismissive, frustrating, and lacking compassion. When patients are already exhausted, scared, and not feeling well, they deserve guidance and continuity of care -- not barriers and cancellations. I expected far better from a primary care practice.

I had checked in on line which saved me about 15 minutes. Paid my co-pay, waited about 15 minutes and was called into a room. Vitals done, check then a brief wait for my " New Primary"! She was friendly and extremely thorough, we spent an hour going over my medical history and I got some orders for routine bloodwork and a bone scan which I've never had. I've booked an appointment online ahead of time and have had great success with getting an appointment in a shortened booking window, aka the day before or morning of. The first appointment was after Thanksgiving 2023. Staff was super efficient and seemed to care. Sometimes during the holiday season, I've encountered gruff employees who are just over the season. But not here. Staff took their time and focused as if I was the only patient in the building. I was in and out with my appointment in record time. My second appointment was right after new years, or so I thought. I don't think I completed the appointment booking process, but staff was super kind and got me in as a walk in. She told me there were two ahead of me, so I hunkered down thinking I'd be waiting for an hour or so. Nope, 15 minutes and I was back being seen. It seemed that one lady was being trained by a guy, so my only critique would be that I was told she was training because I was certainly confused why I had two nurse people this time and only one the last time. The Nurse Practioners/Doctors I saw each time were very caring and thorough with their diagnosis/prognosis/aftercare. Would Definitely recommend this location.

When I moved to Reno I needed to find a primary doctor. I tried St. Mary's and Northern NV (having heard the giant machine of Renown was similar to CT) and didn't find a doctor who'd accept me as a "geriatric" patient! I met with Dr. Mohammad Azim to establish care and found him to be attentive and thorough. He didn't rush the appointment and explained recommendations. He cared about me as a person and did not give me any feeling he was rushing through the appointment. I highly recommend this medical group.
