    They can not charge for mattress removal,  must take the old mattress if you want it gone at delivery &if they don't you can report them.

    I went into the store today to purchase a temperpedic $3000 matress. After about 10 minutes a man came over to ask if I've been helped and I said no. I told him I wanted to buy a mattress but I asked if they had any upcoming sales because I might wait if one would be coming up. He told me one just ended so it would be a while and also added that the sales they have on these are always only $300. That really isn't worth the wait for me since mine is killing me. I said I wanted to buy today and he said what he can do as a deal is take away my mattress free of charge! That would amount to what the usual sale price is anyway, so my savings is right there. Wow! Amazing, except by law in CA when purchasing a new mattress they have to take it away for free. When I brought that up he looked at me dumb and said I have no idea what you are talking about. I googled it right on the spot and read him the law (sb 254 and ab 187). He said he didn't know and would have to look i to it. I have no doubt he does no and was just playing stupid to get the sale UNLESS Jerome's as a company whole is scamming people and charging for removal and that would be an entirely new issue in which every customer would be entitled to a refund. I ended it right there said I am going to go to a different store that doesn't try to scam people for a fee that doesn't exist and act as though it's a discount. Lost a commission and a customer.

    Clearly mismatched furniture.  Sleeper sofa in the middle is broken/sagging.  And Jeromes' response is to "wait another month."

    We purchased a couch in the middle of May. We were excited to hear that our delivery would take place within 2 days. One piece (the sleeper) we were told would have a "slight delay" by our salesman. When we went to pay for the couch, we were told it would be mid-June for delivery. Then we were told it would be "late June." This is for the sleeper portion of a sleeper sofa (the main part). Of course, Jerome's begins charging as soon as delivery takes place. The end of June comes and we get our delivery. The color is off on the fabric - very noticeably. It doesn't even kind of match. We pulled out the sleeper sofa for the very first time to use exactly ONE week later and the sleeper is broken. It is sagging, can not be used, and the piece on the bottom appears to be broken. Customer service is of no help. They are still backordered, apparently. Doesn't matter if you were given a faulty piece of junk - they can get a new piece delivered in another month (mid August). That will take our total delivery time to receive our sofa to OVER 3 MONTHS. As an alternative, I requested a service technician to come out, since we actually paid for the 4 year warranty. They will send someone out, but it will take 2 weeks for a technician. Meanwhile, I was given a portion of a sofa that does not work, is broken, has proven that it will not hold up, and the material/fabric doesn't even match with the other pieces. Customer service does not have any sense of urgency to get this repaired for us. They are still charging us for the entire couch and again, it will be at least 3 months from the date that we ordered the couch to when we MIGHT get a couch that we can utilize. We will never purchase from Jerome's again. This whole experience has been nothing short of awful and an absolute disgrace to sell subpar furniture and collect on insurance $$ and keep their customers waiting. There is also, apparently, no way to contact anyone from corporate. You must wait for someone to contact you. Do better, Jerome's. Take care of the customers who have purchased from you. Stop selling furniture that you don't even have access to and are clearly using a different fabric than the rest of the sofa.

    We've been shopping and purchasing from Jerome's since 2012. Each time was always a pleasure and a pleasant transaction. This review is long over due. We decided to freshen up one of our television rooms with new furniture. We worked with Adam and Andrew his manager on the floor. Very patient and also very knowledgeable about the various products. We decided on an awesome reclining leather sofa, 8 x 10 rug and two white leather tub chairs. All items were on the floor so we could see them in real time. We did the twelve month no interest plan. Emily helped us with this aspect. We keep our credit frozen so we had that handled easily. Then Emily helped with all the logistics of the delivery etc. We chose the white glove delivery. This type us complete set up and placement of all items ordered. The delivery service was on time, very nice and polite. In and out maybe ten minutes. They made sure we were totally happy before leaving. Jerome's has very nice high end furniture and I definitely reccomend.

    We have purchased many pieces of furniture from Jerome's over the years and our overall experience has been really, really good. Reading the bad reviews, I waited to write a review, thinking we were the minority in not having a bad experience. This has not been the case so far. Our latest purchase was new living room furniture. We shopped all the local major stores and by far we found the best quality at a fair price at Jerome's. Adam was the sales person we worked with and he was great-respectful, professional, knowledgeable. Emily patiently worked with us during our credit application and follow up on making changes to our order. Delivery and set up was as promised and seamless. We still have a leather recliner we purchased from Jerome's over ten years ago that is still in good shape and never gave us any problems. I think it's more than good luck that we have had good experiences with Jerome's. There must be something they're doing right from the top down.

    Beware: A Frustrating and Costly Experience for My Elderly Mother at Jerome's Furniture My elderly mother was taken advantage of by Jerome's Furniture after a disappointing mattress purchase experience. Although the in-store experience was pleasant, my mom was excited to finally invest in a $2,300 mattress and $1,000 adjustable base due to her back problems. Unfortunately, the mattress arrived damaged, and after sleeping on it briefly, she found it uncomfortable and requested a refund, citing both poor delivery and customer service. Instead of honoring her request, Jerome's only offered store credit for the same or more expensive mattress--refusing to refund the difference if she chose a cheaper one. This led to her being upsold on a mattress $1,000 more, which also arrived torn--something the delivery driver documented--forcing us to cancel plans again just to accept it. Now, I've had to step in to protect my mother from being further taken advantage of, after nearly $5,000 has been spent on a basic mattress purchase. With no manager available on weekends and the only solution offered being yet another inconvenient delivery, I strongly urge others to stay away--this place operates like a shady car lot with a no-refund trap that leaves you stuck.

    My husband and I found GREAT deals at this Jerome's. The quality trumps other local furniture stores in the area...believe me--make this the first place you go to! We had great service with Dan T. SO many options of all furniture especially couches...we loved so many of them. It's not like other furniture stores where ALL of them are uncomfortable and there's one good one on the floor. Great selections with decent prices!

    I purchased a couch and love seat at Jerome's Village Walk. The loveseat fabric tore at the seam and has a hole. I submitted a written claim with photos to Jerome's on March 25, 2025. I was emailed back saying it would be "easier" if I called to submit a claim. I did so, then had to email pictures for the second time. I heard from no one for a month. I called multiple times and left "messages" with an answer staff because the claims people were unavailable. I finally got a call today, May 30, 2025 saying claim is denied because it is on a seam. This is two months after I filed a claim. I purchased the furniture protection plan, and I am not protected! You have poor quality products and even worse customer service. I will never purchase one piece of furniture from Jerome's again in my life. You have lost a customer.

I ordered a lot of my furniture from them for a delivery and the day of my delivery, they cancelled the entire delivery because they lost the hardware to put together most of my furniture. Oh they even said they had to cancel my whole order because the delivery truck was too full to fit the rest of the furniture they could've delivered. This delivery we scheduled weeks ago. I called Harrison, the sales guy who sold me all this furniture (which we saved up for) and he told me, "Sorry it's my day off, please call the store." LOL Yeah. Tim was not only helpful but he also fought to get us $100 off the already discounted chair and free delivery. We received the chair today and it has proven thus far to be a good investment. Ashley seems to get some brutal reviews but our experience was nothing less than 5 stars. Also, our delivery people were very kind and helpful.
