This place has everything! It was really good! The service was great and fast even when they were extremely busy on a Friday night! The environment is good! A little loud but it's a good size restaurant! They have a really good salad bar! I wish they were able to accommodate shellfish allergies a little better because I'd love to try something other than a salad! But again my family loved their meal! read more

I was very excited to try this place since I just moved to the area but it was not what I was expecting from a steakhouse. When u walk in, u get the age of this steakhouse, it's a little bit out of date but it gets the job done. First thing of all, my steak was waaaayyyyy too overcooked. They did remake it and cooked it perfectly, but it was lacking flavor. I was happy I ordered a lot of sides and appetizers. The wings had a nice crunch but could have used more seasoning to elevate them. The hushpuppies were decent, though a bit dry for my taste. The mozzarella sticks were satisfying, especially when dipped in marinara, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, the onion petals stole the show with their crispy texture and flavorful seasoning, making them a highlight of the meal. read more

It was busy but .. it took 40 minutes to get our food and it was bland and cold. We asked for take out trays to take our food home to warm it up. The waitress was good and afraid she would be blamed for our food being cold. I paid 89.61 for 3 meals and when I paid and told them how I felt I was told that it was a large party of people to blame for our food taking so long and that for our eating there for 22 years with no complaints I should be happy that this was the first complaint I had. We won't be going back. The lady at the counter was rude and obtuse. I really don't know how they keep her there with the kind of attitude that she had. I was totally disgusted with her. read more

A lot to unpack here... first I have to say that our waitress was the sweetest lady in the entire world! We came at peak dinner time and surprisingly did not have to wait at all to be seated. They absolutely have the best hush puppies I've ever had in my life. They were supposed to be included with the seafood platters, but we had to order a basket and keep reminding our waitress about them because they did not come out when the platters were served. You can tell they're made in house, super hot and fresh. I'm not a huge fan of fried fish, but I wanted to have seafood since it is a seafood restaurant. I can't recommend the Shrimp fettuccini. In total, it had 5 of the tiniest shrimps ever. It was disappointing because I expected more from a primarily seafood place. The bread that came with it was unfortunately not toasted, so it was just soft and soggy. The sauce had a good flavor and it was served hot. The shrimp were also uncleaned, which made it hard for me to keep my appetite once I noticed. I don't know if I would choose to come back here, but I will note that the rest of my group was very happy with their fried fish platters and salad bar trip. read more

Ordered a steak blackened. The steak looked like it had been boiled and seasoning thrown on the top after, and definitely was not a blackened season. Steak had old meat taste and was tough. They brought out another steak and it was the same way. The shrimp and fish were cold. The hush puppies were overcooked. Baked potatoes were brown inside from overcooking. The only thing good that I can say about Jerome's is that the salad bar is great! We were there before July 4, and three of us ordered the blackened grilled chicken breast. When our food came out it was definitely chicken thighs instead. When I told the waitress about it. She did go back to the kitchen and ask the cook and came back and told us that it was thighs. I don't like thighs, so I told her just to bring me a cheeseburger without fries. When we left we complained to the lady who is the manager, whom is Jerome's sister. She argued with us that they didn't serve chicken thighs. I told her that our waitress said they were thighs. Then she calls out our waitress, and causes a big commotion. She went back into the kitchen to talk to the cook, and comes back to tell us that they were indeed thighs because they had run out of breast! Then they charged me full price for my meal!!! # 1- The customer is always right, don't argue with them! # 2- If a customers meal is not right, comp it, so they will come back! # 3- If you don't have what the customer orders, tell them and let them order something else! # 4- Apologize to the customer!!! No apologies were ever offered! We have been dining at Jerome's for the past 30 years, but after this we will not be coming back!!! I stopped here for the Sunday buffet, I wasn't expecting much because of the reviews, and this place lives up to the mediocre reviews. Food was okay, I can't say that it was terrible except for the fried fish which tasted bad, it was just a lot of very bland and boring food items. The best thing was probably the peel and each shrimp, they were a decent size and weren't cooked to rubber like most places do. The fried Chicken was okay, wasn't the best I've had but certainly wasn't the worst. There was a pretty long line to get in when I got here, although I did arrive when the church crowds were probably letting out. The service here was good, the waitresses are very friendly and helpful. The price for the buffet is $14, which actually isn't too bad considering they had good quality shrimp on the buffet. Two of us had the buffet, one had the shrimp dinner, and one had the kids chicken tenders. Fried chicken was very good, chicken gizzards and livers were fair. Veggies were basic. Salad bar is very limited. They had a self-serve soft ice cream machine and two cobbler options. The fried shrimp was overcooked as were most of the hushpuppies. All the food was just mediocre at best. Based on our visit last year, the consensus is the food was much better. Service was average. read more

I have to say we have been going to Jerome's for 5+years. During that time we have enjoyed the seafood, ribs and steak, the cat fish is 2nd to none; just delicious. Today my sister got an order to bring home. I wanted a grilled chicken salad, well I will never order the salad again for the following reasons( 1. Lettuce was not fresh, had several pieces that were black, 2. The other vegetables were not fresh3. The chicken was overcooked and was cooked in old oil. I haven't visited Jerome's in years. I know it's been over 10 years. I saw their Facebook post about their lunch buffet on Fridays and Saturdays. So, I decided to check them out. I'm glad I did. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The servers are all nice. I will definitely be back for lunch. I'm going to stop by for dinner as well. There menu looks good. We arrived a found a very nice staff. Kinda worried because we didnt find the restaurant we were looking for but this one looked good. I ordered the seafood deluxe and wife ordered the shrimp plate. Several tiny ants were crawling on our table. A roach crawled over my future DIL's fork. It was mid-August, on a Saturday evening, had a 10 minute wait, and we were seated in the glass roof area by the windows. Maybe all restaurants are battling bugs this time of year? My son order the filet mignon and shrimp. The steak that came was tough and had fat on it... absolutely not the $29.99 cut of meat he expected. Also he ordered it medium rare - it came out very definitely well done. Not even close to medium rare. The fried shrimp was okay, hush puppies were meh, the fried scallops were soggy. Had dinner Thursday evening around 8:00 PM and ordered a 12 Oz Ribeye to which was about 6 Oz's of pure fat. No bake potatoes available and no yeast rolls which on the menu stated came with the meal. The waitress seemed a little frustrated with my coming in at 8:00 PM as they close at 9:00PM. She may simply have been tired. Service was fair. The steak had a good flavor but like I said had too much fat. I only could eat about half. I'll likely eat here again but I will not order a steak again. So my mom and I went here because we thought I looked good!! We got seated rather quickly but sat there for 15 minutes before someone even got our drink order. The food was horrible I ordered the filet mignon with shrimp and was suppose to come with a yeast roll... when the food came out I got what appeared to be a ribeye steak that was almost all fat and the shrimp which was suppose to be grilled was under cooked and the steak was cold!! I asked the waitress to take it back and she did so with out a blink of an eye and the steak also came with Texas toast instead of a yeast roll!! The costumer service was great the food how ever was sub par!! The price for the filet was $28 and it's not even the right cut of meat thankfully the waitress was able to take $10 off the price but at that point I could've just stayed home to cook a crappy cut of meat on my own grill read more

This place does not impress on the outside...but the service is great and the food is very good, especially considering the prices. This is a local restaurant and I've found a lot of locals eat here. My wife and I have had steaks and seafood and neither of us have ever been disappointed. I highly recommend you give it a try! read more

Sadly I took guests there this evening and although the service was above and Beyond the call of waitresses, the food was badly prepared. Apparently their primr rib is precooked and microwaved, but this came out ice cold and the same with the crab legs Cooked but ice cold. We went for my wife's birthday on 07/29/23. After a 35 minute wait we were seated. Looking at the menu we realized everything was priced about five dollars more than online prices. We asked the waitress about it and she stated they have had about three price hikes but they never seem to correct it online. We ordered our food and after a 65 minute wait it finally came to the table. Both plates were cold. My wife ordered beef tips and baked potatoe. The potatoe was so cold that the butter would not melt and we still do not know what the beef tips actually were. It was some type of meat burnt on both sides and cold. My wife had to send it back. Her next plate had the same beeftips but the potatoe was half done so she was able to eat the cooked part. My plate was catfish and baked potatoe. The catfish was cold and the baked potatoe was warm on the bottom so I ate that part. Let me say these plates were my no means large servings. When our bill came we saw we were charged a eighteen per cent tip. I left a tip on the table. When checking out I told the cashier I had left a tip on the table but I would not be paying an eighteen per cent tip for long wait time and bad food. She told me they had signs up they were short staffed but she did take the tip off although she was not happy about it. My wife took the beef tips home and threw them away.
