I run a small business and have been a customer of Jerry's/Wesco for 20 years. Over the years I have experienced long lines and occasional horrible service..... that is now a thing a of the past. I haven't been in for the last year deciding to take my business elsewhere, but decided to have some paint recently mixed up for a tough job. The entire counter crew is new and younger. Gone are the old farts who just B.S. and wait to retire! I am really impressed with STEVE and his trusty sidekick JUSTIN! These are two new employees (to me) that have given me great service, especially STEVE. STEVE has helped me at the counter, helped me with unfamiliar products and their application, helped me out to my van, helped me order products, color-matches, keeps me updated on my orders and then called me when it came in! This is basic customer service but it is so rare and so much appreciated when you actually experience it in real life! read more

Great place to get paint, touch up paint, paint supply and everything in general that has to do with painting cars. They have great staff, fun people and very honest. Last time i was there i was buying touch up pen, guy told me how to apply, how much to apply and honestly was ready to help me. They give good quality and good prices on their merchandise. Reading some of the negative reviews here, I'm wondering if they have the right place. I live nearby and have gone in multiple times and they have always been friendly and helpful. I've never had any work done by them, but I have purchased supplies for my own projects. They carry some supplies you won't find at places like Home Depot, and their prices are very reasonable. But for me, the best part about this place is that the guys who work there are industry pros, and their advice comes from real-world experience. You'll likely learn more by speaking with one of their guys for a few minutes than you will after several hours of Googling on your own. Very helpful for someone like me. And they give out the advice for free! read more

I always get pint here with my older brother. Every single time we have went there the people that work there were very nice and helpful. They would always explain everything and answer our questions the best way. Today me and my older brother went there to get pint for my Acura. I agree with most of these bad reviews. Sure, they have what you need but they treat you like they could care less if you come back. They act like you're a total inconvenience and treat you like you're stupid. You'd think that when you get older, you'd learn to treat people with more respect. If you've been working there for 20 years and you're burned out, move along or retire. Do us all a favor. If you own this business, act like you give a crap and teach your employees how to deal with customers properly. read more

HORRABLE Customer service! I waked in and Old Guy was talking to another Old Guy Bsing and didn't even acknowledge My presence after 5 minutes He called for someone to help Me. Another Male came out gave Old Guy a long stare asked Me what I needed I told Him. He got out paint chip chart and told Me to pick closet color to mine and walked back to the back. It took all of 30 seconds to pick the color that matched My color and He didn't come back for a good 5 minutes. So I left. I wont ever go back. So RUDE!! No STARS!! read more

I really don't want to give them one star. I was an returning customer and I went into Jerry's today to buy some products and will NEVER be back. Their products are good but does that make it okay to treat customers like shit? I was simply asking a question, very politely to mention and all I got was attitude, slamming products on the counter and saying things like "I don't know what you want me to say" or "now you can make up your mind the balls in your court" didn't ONCE try and show me or answer my questions. I now come here for all my paint needs. I have painted several cars at home and all purchases were made through Jerry's paint. The older gentlemen usually working at the front desk is usually helpful but when it gets busy and he ask for some help, the employees that come out of the back to help can be sometimes rude. (Don't know his name. Tall, skinny, white guy, kinda dirty looking, in his 40's maybe.) He wasn't rude to me directly but he was very rude to another customer. It was one of those, "what was that all about?", type of moments. If he would have talk to me the way he did with the other customer, I would have gotten him fired. Besides this one incident, I would say Jerry's is still a great place to go. Just avoid the one employee. (See description above...) read more

My interaction today was on the phone about 20 minutes before closing. I haven't done anything with paint but have been doing a lot more work on cars and wanted to experiment with painting. I had read that the best place to start was with rattle cans and someone I know had recommended Jerry's for auto paint. The took the time to answer all my questions, were proactive in asking questions to help drill down on my need, and at the end of it all, left me feeling confident that they know what they are doing. I can't wait to swing by and pick up paint and begin experimenting with auto body repairs. read more

Dumb. Called and asked for one thing. Arrived and was handed something that did not match the description I was given over the phone. Not even close. Sure, it could be used for the same purpose. But it wasn't as described at all. It could have been described in two words. The Staff was Helpful and knowledgeable on the material i was working with. They were helpful and pleasant to do business with. This is a mixed review. I give Jerry's Paint Supply in Sacramento a 1 star for the customer service I received, but 5 stars for its managements response when I informed them of how I was treated by the salesman I dealt with. So I give them a 3 star average. On 8/14/2012 I visited Jerry's in Sac prepared to make a purchase of the paint and other supplies I needed to paint my truck. The salesman I dealt with was an older gentleman (late 50s-60s) with gray hair and crew-cut, who I had spoken with the previous week. Over the weekend I had done a little homework on the product line (Omni from PPG) which he had suggested. When it was my turn, I began the process of trying to narrowing down a basecoat to purchase. In an attempt to make a good purchase as a consumer, I tried to discuss with this salesman the options available in the Omni product line. Instead of being helpful, this salesman became increasingly irate, obfuscated, and condensed to me. Ironically, I was prepared to purchase a more expensive product than the one he suggested. In my opinion this salesman does not understand his role in the sales transaction. In about two minutes this salesman took me from being prepared to make a purchase, to walking out of the store in disgust. Later that day I made my purchase from a competitor of Jerry's. On the upside, after I contacted Jerry's management through their website, I promptly received both an e-mail and a phone call from one of the owners of the company. This individual assured me that he would meet with all of his inside staff and relay this situation to them, and also remind them of the company's core values/beliefs. After talking to this individual, I believe the owners of this company are concerned with the treatment of their customers and, now that they are aware of the situation, will take the steps necessary to rectify any shortcomings in their customer service. I recommend consumers support this local, family owned business, and give them feedback through Jerry's website regarding their shopping experience. read more
