Three friends and I ate here today. It was lovely. There were a couple of glitches that needed attention. We told the waitress about it and they were addressed professionally and promptly. The food was very yummy. We each ordered a different breakfast platter. The plate portions were generous. We each needed go-boxes. The diner was nice and clean. The server was friendly as well. Normal Jerry Bobs American good. The kids split a chicken tender meal and I got the tuna melt because I was in the mood for something weird. The food was pretty processed but we were hungry after our little road trip. Unfortunately we were were tired and cranky after eating which tells us the food was not suitable to our well being. Just had breakfast at Jerry Bob's Green valley there was 7 of us. Brea was our server. Excellent service. Great biscuits and gravy.

Was pretty disappointed today. Was looking forward to the club sandwich. It was COMPLETELY different from a month ago. One slice of bacon, little bit of ham, little bit of "turkey". Looked just like the ham....didn't taste like turkey. Very small in size compared to last time. $13.49 was definitely not worth it. And $3.99 for "cup" of clam chowder???? $3.29 for a glass of iced tea???? Outrageous! Don't think we will be coming back any time soon. read more

Quick early lunch! Basic Diner food options. Not overly friendly staff but they do get the food to the table. I had the special which was a California Turkey Avocado on Sourdough bread. It was good but a bit heavy and cooked in too much butter. The French fries were definitely frozen and out of a bag; also too greasy and not the best. I saw the pancakes coming out and they looked delicious! I think this diner may be better as a breakfast option. I will give another try for breakfast but I'm not in a hurry to return. Moving to Arizona from California presents some major problems in the first couple of months. Until now, my wife and I were looking for a good morning restaurant where they have Great Service, Great Food and Great Coffee. We found all three at JerryBobs Restaurant in Green Valley. From the moment we walked in, we could smell the wonderful aroma of coffee, bacon and the sweetness of fresh pastries. We didn't see a lot of tables or a lot of people but we took the chance, and believe me it paid off big time. We were greeted and seated next to the window in a four seater table (love the four seater for two) and we were greeted by the most vivacious server by the name of Sabrina. She was really happy to see us and we told her that we had just moved to Arizona from California and she said "Welcome, what can I get you?". The test begins. "Could we please have some coffee and do you have flavored creamer?" "Why yes we do" she said. Great start for the restaurant. Sabrina was fast and accurate with our orders and gave us some great recommendations. I ordered the Chorizo Benedict and my wife ordered the Stacked Enchiladas. Wow, the coffee was delicious and the Chorizo Benedict was perfectly prepare with lots of flavor and spice. We had crispy hash brown potatoes which made the entire meal an enjoyment to the palate. So Good! We finished off the meal with a slice of carrot cake because the celebration was HERE at JerryBobs Restaurant because it had the Best Service (Thanks Sabrina), the Best Food (delicious and fresh), and don't forget the coffee (Two French Vanilla please). A wonderful place to have breakfast. We'll tell family and friends of this great restaurant experience. We'll be back again for the lunch menu. . . Or breakfast again. . .We won't miss out on this great little restaurant in the corner of the Safeway Mall, just down from the Safeway gas station (with points you can afford breakfast). We were at JerryBob's in Green Valley AZ this morning for breakfast and ordered the eggs Benedict (2 orders). It came with the worst hollandaise sauce I have ever had and frankly I would have been embarrassed to serve it at home, much less in a restaurant. It was thick, gloppy and curdled. I had to ask for a bowl to scrape it off. When we spoke to the waitress she seemed shocked that we complained about. Not once did she offer to get the manager nor did they offer to make an adjustment on the bill, despite the fact that the hollandaise was inedible. We may go back but I would never again order the eggs benedict. read more

My husband and I have eaten here often in the last 8 years for breakfast. Not once have we had a bad experience or walked away hungry. The restaurant is alway clean and the staff I are on the ball. Stopped by Saturday morning around 8:30 and it was like a zoo. Waitress asked if I wanted coffee and I said yes please and water. The waitress never brought my coffee, finally another waitress asked if I wanted coffee and brought it. Coffee was ok but not great. I ordered steak and eggs, the steak was very small, maybe 3 oz and overcooked so it was dry and tasteless. They gave me 1 slice of toast instead of the typical 2 slices. I probably won't be back, I can do a lot better for $12 dollars elsewhere. read more

Stopping for breakfast at Jerry Bob's was a Hugh mistake for my family. To start, our table was dirty and the server wiped it with a wet napkin. There was nothing below $10.00 on the menu. My daughter ordered the biscuit & gravy breakfast with iced tea $15.40, my husband had coffee and a waffle $12.98 and I had 2 pancakes with iced tea $11.49. I realize prices are higher now due to Covid, but this is ridiculous. The food was mediocre, the coffee was weak, the tea was strong and the service was not good. My advice is not to go there but at home or a fast food restaurant. You will be $$$$Dollars ahead. read more

Visited Saturday AM for breakfast. Has a great menu with good selections. Atmosphere was good and the restaurant was clean. Wait staff was very busy and kept the customers happy from what I observed. Food preparation was poor in my opinion due to very burn't omlette. The bottom was nearly black and had a burn't smell. (asked for well done hashbrowns, not eggs) Really wanted this place to do good because the other items were good. The wife and I ordered the same thing and both were burn't. Dated menu, wear and tear, and grime on everything... Topped off with a quarter inch of dust on the ceiling fans to make you wonder if this is going to be the next business on Kitchen Nightmares. I'm sitting at a table with lots of food crumbles and trash bits under the table. In view are other bits of litter on the floor, beat up tables, chairs, and walls, not to mention server stations with drips of grime down the sides... Make you wonder if there is no cleaning and maintenance in the front of the house, what cleaning and maintenance is also being neglected in the back of the house... Usually pretty mundane/mediocre menu; but they provide good food and the service is kind. I honestly love the chicken tenders here so that's my go to. They're super sweet to my grandfather who comes 3xs a week so they get a full 5 for that. Yes, it is basic, and the food isn't anything to write home about, but it's never terrible in any way. I had the pancakes-average but not really worth the 7.99 price. WARNING! Do not eat here unless you feel like running to the toilet right after you leave. Don't get me wrong lI didn't expect a 5 Star dining experience. I have dined at Jerry Bob's in Tucson a number of times so I knew what to expect. I order an omelet (which was cooked well) and my wife order the breakfast burrito (again cooked and tasted good) I went with cottage cheese and fruit for my sides. Big mistake, the fist bite of cottage cheese caused me to spit it out in my napkin. It was rancid. However we continued to eat being as everything else tasted ok. The waitress was nice enough to comp my meal for the bad cheese. Fast forward to less then 20 mins later, the rumbling in my stomach started and I instantly had to go to the bathroom. Fast forward to 1 hour and three bathroom trips later, my wife's stomach started cramping. Both of us have the exact same symptoms but yet she didn't eat my cottage cheese. Whatever cause my stomach problems hit her just a little later than me but I have always had a sensitive stomach. Now usually I can overlook one time as an isolated incident but both of us within an hour of consuming their food tell me that it's a kitchen problem.
