Sorry I started eating forgetting to take a photo. The food initially covered the whole plate.

First off, this wasn't our first time here. We come here because everything is freaking amazing. The food is always perfect no matter what you order. The staff is pleasant, fun, and efficient. The atmosphere is calming and beautiful and they have a full bar. Sorry I started eating forgetting to take a photo. The food initially covered the whole plate. Cheese ravioli with Italian sausage (huge portion). Came with salad or soup and bread. The dinner salad is quite tasty and they always have two types of soup, if you prefer soup. We had Tiramisu and cannoli for desert and they are both tasty and light. I so recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and plenty of it! The salad is to die for, In-house dressing is so good! The service is excellent and you're seated quickly when you arrive. It is a very rustic place. Nice murals on the wall. This has been one of our favorite places and we have been coming here for over 15 years. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

Good ol reliable friendly neighborhood restaurant. Decent food. You know what to expect because they are consistent. We frequent Argenzianos may once every few month. Service is good and prices are reasonable.

Really great food and service . Looked for something closer to our friend's place who are visiting from out of town this evening . This place had great reviews so we drove 25 minutes from north east tucson to check it out . Cozy low key Italian - everything came out steaming hot - big plus - Pizza outstanding, perfect topping to crust ratio . The crust was perfect crunch , bread on sausage and meatballs sandwiches reminds my of those amazing crunchy rolls at authentic Vietnamese place . Stuffed shells , ravioli and sausage and peppers all a big hit ! Lemon and cheesecake desserts spectacular/ Loren was our server , she was on it and she couldn't have been more friendly . Super happy we found this restaurant , we'll be back !

Still a delicious place and they now take reservations! We had a little bit of a wait which was expected on a Friday night and grabbed a glass of wine until our table was ready. Football was playing on one tv by the bar and the vibe of the rest of the restaurant was relaxing and enjoyable. We ordered the antipasto which is my absolute favorite, chicken fettuccine alfredo, a cheese pizza and sausage and peppers over penne. That last one is my new favorite All the employees are very kind with big smiles. You gotta try this place at least once!

Chicken wings original sauce/ we ate 3 before I took the pic! There are other sauces to choose from as well. Ranch was great!

We were warmly greeted and shown to our table immediately at our reservation time. Party of 4. The restaurant is in a strip mall. They've done a nice job inside dressing it up but it could probably use an update again. Water and bread arrived almost before we were seated. There was garlic bread and a focaccia. Oil oil and balsamic are provided at the table. The bread is good but nothing memorable. Drink orders were taken and delivered fast. My $13 glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was good. All the entrees come with soup or salad. Three of us had Minestrone and one tomato basil. All were tasty and fresh Parmesan was shaved on top table side. The soups could have been a little hotter IMO. We ordered two chicken dishes, an Eggplant lasagna, which is no longer listed on the menu, but they'll make it for you, and Cioppino. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I had the Cioppino and thought the scallops, shrimp and mussels could have been cooked for 60-90 seconds less. They weren't chewy but not buttery soft either. The sauce was very good. Considering the restaurant is owned by a Mexican family and there likely isn't an Italian chef anywhere near this area, I'd give it a solid 4. They wouldn't survive in NYC or the surrounding area, but if I lived here, and the service and food were the quality we experienced tonight, I'd be a regular.

Thankfully, we found Ragazzi! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance of checking on us without making us feel like we were being supervised. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce, and I went with the lobster ravioli. We paired them with a glass of Malbec for her and a Merlot for me. Everything was delicious, but I have to give a special shout-out to the warm bread. Let's just say it took some serious self-control to save room for our entrées. Then came the grand finale: the tiramisu. It was absolutely divine and easily big enough for two people to share... assuming one of them is willing to share. Fortunately, we've had 29 years to practice. We left full, happy, and wondering how we hadn't discovered Ragazzi sooner. It's always exciting to find a fantastic local restaurant, especially one so close to home. We'll definitely be back--and probably sooner than our next anniversary!

After I was seated in a booth, I ordered water & iced tea. The server was very pleasant except every question I asked and anyone else asked was answered with "I gotcha!" Very odd. A couple came in later, I heard her ask if they had reservations, which was weird, because there were two tables taken and everything was empty. She mentioned the high tops, the half booths, the tables should all work; they chose a table next to me. There again, "I gotcha" was every response. That response got to be very annoying. She was pleasant enough, but needed to use more professional language. I always enjoyed the Chicken Marsala, so I ordered it. I have had this dish at least 6 times, but this time is wasn't nearly as good. It seemed like the pasta hadn't been salted while boiling and the chicken lacked seasoning as well. I had to keep adding more salt & pepper. The bread they serve is always yummy. I took a portion of my dish home but ended up throwing it away. I was never really interested in eating the rest (which is not my norm). The portion size is generous but for $25 it better be. Chicken, some mushrooms & spinach and noodles. Total before tip was $31. The entire experience turned me off a bit and I think it will be awhile before I return.

I was pleasantly surprised that they're just as good as I remember from 10+ years ago. The cheese is flavorful and has a great stretch, and the crust is just so crispy and thin! Really delicious. The lunch special is very good, too. $8 for a massive cheese slice and a drink is a deal hard to come by in this economy, and it can easily feed 2 people. I opted to add pepperoni for an extra $1.50. Still a good deal. I also would not skip on the ranch if you're a fan of the good homemade kind. I can tell it is made in-house and it's so creamy and garlicky. Service was quick and polite. I also notice that they always offer fresh brewed ice tea and some kind of specialty water - this time they had a watermelon infused water that was great. I love when I'm offered fresh-made drink options besides your usual fountain drinks. I've often seen discourse about where the best pizza in Tucson is online, and I rarely see AZ Pizza Company mentioned. I personally think they're very high on the list and deserve more recognition. We like to switch up our appetizers every visit, so this time I tried something new, the escargot with artichokes. If you've never had escargot before, this is the perfect beginner dish. The escargot was buttery, tender, and packed with flavor. Paired with the artichokes and toasted bread, it was absolutely incredible. I almost ate the entire order by myself because I simply couldn't stop! We also ordered the shrimp and crab cakes, and wow, these were phenomenal. The outside had the perfect crispy crust while the inside was tender, flavorful, and full of seafood. The accompanying sauce tied everything together beautifully. For our entrées, we had the seared tenderloin over creamy polenta, cooked medium rare. It was perfection. The tenderloin was incredibly tender and flavorful, the wine sauce was rich without being overpowering, and the polenta was creamy and comforting. The portion was also very generous. We also shared the rigatoni with braised short rib, and I honestly can't stop thinking about it. The short rib was melt in your mouth tender, juicy, and so flavorful that I'd happily order a plate of just that! Combined with the perfectly cooked rigatoni, rich sauce, and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan, it was one of those dishes where every bite was better than the last. Our server was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations without ever making us feel rushed. The restaurant itself is always beautiful and has such an elegant atmosphere. Uh, no. It tastes like tartar sauce and is extremely unappetizing mixed with warm cheese rav's . 0/10 do not recommend, would not ever taste it again. Caesar salad dressing. Listen, I love me some anchovy paste in my homemade Caesar salad dressing but this was way too much. And where is the lemon to brighten it up? 5/10 would order again if they brought out a small cup of their Caesar dressing to taste beforehand. Calamari. Husband got the calamari and said it was just ok, but definitely not worth the price. Too much $$$. Salsiccia pizza. Fresh, delicious, just severely lacking in cheese. A little more generous portion of that divine homemade mozz would be nice. 7/10, would definitely ask for extra cheese when ordering. Hits: Toasted rav's appetizer. 10/10 would get again, however when I look at the price ($18) and you only get 6 ravs plus dipping sauce (marinara and that horrendous wasabi ranch), it really doesn't feel like a good deal. Yes delicious, but $3 per 1"x1" square rav?? Too much money in my book. Tomato bisque. While not quite fresh, it was divine. The toast piece that came with it was rubbed with garlic and oil and grilled to the perfect texture and then partially dipped in the soup for playing, amazing 100/10 would get again, but this time request just a little more fresh basil. Highly recommend. Caesar salad. Though the dressing leaning too far into fishy tasting (too much anchovy paste), the overall salad was fresh, albeit extremely small for the price you are paying. Checca pizza. Warm, garlic olive oil as the base, homemade mozz and basil and tomatoes, all wonderful EXCEPT what monster in the kitchen is using chopped salad tomatoes as a pizza topping? Hideous. Looked like a circle k pizza, at best. Tasted great, except for those tomatoes - were they San marzano?? Overall, we would go back, but try different dishes. Ambiance was warm and friendly, service was not great. Hoping it was just a one off, but by the looks of the other reviews, it's hit or miss with the wait staff, which is unfortunate. Edited to add: We also ordered the tiramisu and the siciliani cannoli - very generous portion of tiramisu, cannoli are only three small 3" pieces. We were then informed while ordering that they would not be doing the 'wheel' due to 'callouts' that night. OK, so I tried to order (4) different bottles of Chardonnay and they were out of three of them. We started with an appetizer of 'calamari' and it came 'burnt' and like rubber. We also ordered their famous Caesar Salad and were never served. We then decided to order a pizza which was served to us cold, uncooked and doughy. The poor wait staff and cooks are not managed correctly and were well over whelmed with no help. I was informed that the restaurant has 'new ownership' as they were purchased by 'Flying Leap Vineyards' and have been recently having staffing issues, inventory issue's and the new owners have cut back on everything. They did credit us on our bill for the cold uncooked pizza and the burnt calamari that was not edible. Our waiter felt so bad but, as we told him it was not his fault we were leaving without eating dinner 90 minutes later. Flying Leap Vineyards needs to somehow overcome this type of quality and improve things in a hurry otherwise ' just shut the doors' and sell Wine!

I wish they would incorporate a mocktail menu or better NA options. The appetizer we had was calamari which was decent- my husband wasn't a fan of the breading texture it has a lumpiness to it maybe like a crushed cornflake feel. Not our favorite but overall it was cooked great not overdone. Love the roasted lemon on the side. I had the short rib ravioli which the ravioli itself was good. The sauce was interesting it had a sweetness to it that I wasn't a fan of. I've had short rib ravioli at wildflower which they also did a white sauce which I preferred due to it being savory. I can tell it was a wine based sauce which had a nice depth of flavor but the sweetness really killed it for me. My husband had the baked ravioli which was a lasagna style which was great! Robust sauce and large portion. If you're in Tucson the sauce seems very similar to Nate's. We did get a free cheesecake for our anniversary which was very nice, my husband loved this and he's super picky about cheesecake. Overall not bad- I think I'd maybe come to try some other dishes but service felt very slow, I wasn't blown away with anything and it was very pricey, mocktail options definitely lacked if you're sober.

The broccolini and the polenta made for a perfect place of food. My date got the lasagna which was just ok. It was very very tomato forward and acidic. I prefer my sauce to be milder and not so sour. Dessert was mind altering. That pistachio ice cream was sooo good. Amazing. No notes. The tiramisu was classic. It was light, fluffy, airy, good coffee and liquor flavor. I was impressed.

I gave four stars because there was nothing spectacular that stood out to me. As someone who served for 6+ years, service to me can make or break your whole experience. Our server was kind, very good on drink refills but not very personable. I will be back to see if I have a different overall experience with a different server. Our food was steaming hot, taste was phenomenal, and they packaged our leftovers for us which I found very nice. The whole feel of Locale is very homey. Think family dinner table, dress up or down. Will be back!

Green Valley doesn't have many quality restaurants, and I refuse to patronize crappy restaurants in the light of rampant high prices, bad service, inflated tipping expectations and, of course, the obligatory sales tax. Of the existing ones, many are chains, such as Denny's, KFC and McDonald's. The remaining non-chain venues are frequently purveyors of mediocre food and horrible service. Here's my basis for the good review: 1) Excellent and prompt customer service; 2) The place is immaculately clean; 3) The food is delicious and features generous portions; 4) There are TWO gluten-free pizza crust options; 5) Parking is ample; 6) The prices are reasonable; 7) Convenient to other shopping opportunities; 8) Genuine smiles from the owners and staff are standard operating procedure. At the rate that M. M.'s is building it's customer clientele, they'll have to move into a larger space, or even expand weekend evening hours while the snowbirds are in town.

Location: good, easy to find Restaurant: clean, organized and staff were friendly, especially the blonde woman who brought my pizza out. (I purchased to go). Reasonable amount of time til my pie was ready. It was still hot when I got home. Crust: nice, crunchy and good flavor Cheese: impressive, I could actually TASTE the cheese! Very nice! Pepperoni was okay but I ordered (and payed for) double....not really a double amount. A perfect amount of sauce. All in all...I will be back! Thank you

The hostess was so kind and sweet when she greeted us and showed us to our table. Our waiter JR popped up within seconds with water and greetings. We were given garlic knots to start. We ordered our drinks and garden salad to begin. Our salad arrived and it was beautiful and a good size for sharing. The drinks arrived and were delicious. Our entrees came after and were just as good. We were too stuffed to get dessert.

I had the Caesar and the romaine was nice and crispy, the croutons were crunchy and the dressing was not overdone. The free garlic knots are sinful! I had the pasta carbonara off the Specials menu. After a loooong wait for our entrees, my generous portion arrived (see photo). Lots of pancetta made it very filling and tasty, but I thought the sauce was a little dry. One of my companions had the shrimp scampi - he always orders this here and loves it. My wife ordered the pasta rustica which came with lots of black and green olives and a good amount of capers. She thought it could have used a little more flavor, maybe some more garlic? Overall we had a very pleasant evening, service was great. The decor here might be getting a little dated - the indoor seating is quite dark, especially when you come in from the blazing Arizona sun!
