I've wanted to visit this shop for quite some time. I for some reason thought it was going to be bigger. They sell a wide variety of art materials and really utilize the space that they have. The staff were friendly enough and let you browse independently within the store. Bought a wall frame, very low quality of the product, cheap materials, came damaged, no customer support

I wanted to get a simple frame 6x10". Had to order it. When I got it I realized it was made of the cheapest materials. Even the paint on the frame didn't go all the way around. As I put the photo in it right away a tab broke off. I was charged $70 for this. I would have returned it but I was leaving town and it was a gift for the person I was visiting. I am embarrassed to be giving this frame as a gift. Very disappointed. read more

Terrific little art supply store. Small and a little tight, but plenty of room on 2 floors for every supply you can think of. And the folks working there are polite and knowledgeable. Great selection of paints, brushes and canvases, and pretty much anything you can do with a pencil, marker, and oil, acrylic or water color paintbrush. Love going there. read more

I came in seeking frames for some cards I wanted to frame. I had heard that Jerry's has an excellent selection of frames of every size and while I was sure they'd have the 6x6 frames I needed, I had a few odd sized cards that I was not sure would work in a traditional frame. The staff was so helpful in selecting the right frames for me, paying attention to the color of the artworks and matching the matting and the frames perfectly. One card required a larger frame than I was expecting as well as a mat cutting, which was all very reasonable. I happened upon their 20% off VIP member sale, so yes, of course, I signed up for their free VIP program. Prices were fabulous! I had done some comparison shopping earlier in the day at Michael's and was impressed that the frames I found here were literally 1/3 the price! Also loved the free lot parking out in the back. I'll definitely be returning here. It's also nice to shop a local place as opposed to those big art supply stores. read more

Nice stock with very friendly, helpful staff. So A+ for that. But I do have to be honest and say this: If you need something that's absolutely artist's grade...this is the place to get it...however, most of the things in there you can find at one of the local craft stores (Michael's, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, Joann's) cheaper and with a 50% coupon....like the Liquitex and Golden gels, mediums, etc.....most of that is at the craft stores. Artist's grade paint, brushes, etc.. - those you'll need to hit Jerry's for no doubt as the craft stores do not sell artist's grade anything....but most of the other stuff you can get for a way cheaper price at the craft stores. read more

Here to review the framing. I needed a piece framed, matted, and wired in a custom frame last minute for an exhibition. I called a couple of places in the area and it was clear folks were trying to give me the run around and were being shy in their estimates. One place quoted me a truly unreasonable price for just a simple matte. I've gotten plenty of things matted and have done plenty a matte myself. No one ever charged what they told me. Lucky for me, I called up Jerry's Artarama next. I got a really good estimate for my frame but the framer was also honest about how pricy things could get with certain materials. Throughout the whole experience, I was never blindsided. Fortunately for me I also was able to take advantage of their custom framing sale. And there is another 10 percent off for members! When I first came in, it was clear the framer was sensing where I wanted to go with things, rather than leading me to the obviously most expensive options. She gave me solutions using frames they already have made (they have a large selection for reasonable prices) and also what I could do to make things fancier for extra. She showed me the difference between the museum plexiglass and regular plexiglass and explained that the major difference is UV protection. She also gave me the samples to compare for myself and choose, and we agreed on just appearance they are rather similar. I ended up going for museum grade but I really appreciated how she showed me all of my options and the prices and let me decide. She also helped me pick a frame that they could order in time and helped me choose which frame and matte width looked best. Even the rush pricing was not exorbitant. When I came to pick things up, it was wrapped, wired with bolts, matted, plastic protected, and ready for shipping. I came out of the experience with first class work/service and I never once felt preyed on. I think some framers can take advantage of the fact that a lot of people don't know a lot about the framing process or what is reasonable and so I really appreciated how professional and friendly Jerry's Artarama was through the entire process. I totally recommend them to both art professionals or to anyone who wants to frame a special photo. I am so incredibly happy with how everything worked out and will be back soon! read more

I'ld give 10 stars if I could. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I brought my canvas family picture in for a frame and the associate, although she was very busy, stopped and put my picture together with a perfect frame while I waited! She was pleasant and professional. I sensed that she was pretty busy with other things but she took the time to tend to my picture so I would t have to drive all the way back on a different day. I highly recommend this store for any framing needs you may have! read more

I was waiting for a month to receive that card and when I contacted the customer support they told me that there no promotion at the time of my order :(... This place may not be as big as Blick or the RISD store, but they have a truly knowledgeable and helpful staff! I also trust their choices in stocking quality products (as a painter myself.) There is no kids section, so if you are looking for craft supplies, Michael's may be better bet. read more
