Jesse provided such amazing service and food at our baby shower for 100+ guests. He was communicative during the planning process and the pricing was very fair. Jesse was fantastic! We had him scheduled to cater for my husband's 60th between 4:30-6:30. He showed up about an hour ahead to set up and, as promised, had the food ready for our guests by 4:30. And the food was delicious! He offered chicken, steak and pork and brought corn tortillas, cilantro, onions, radishes, limes and two salsas (milder green and spicier red). We opted for the additional beans and rice and were not disappointed. Jesse was extremely charming and friendly with all our guests, asking each one of any particulars they'd prefer (one tortilla or two, well done meat, etc). Jesse was awesome to work with and extremely professional. We contacted him about 2 weeks before our engagement party via Yelp messaging and he sent us a quote and his phone number for easier communication. He responded right away and we used Venmo to send in our deposit. We followed up with him the day before the party and he confirmed that he would be there an hour before our guests arrived; however, he ended up coming earlier than that to get set up. It ended up working out perfectly because as soon as guests arrived, they could head over and start on tacos. Jesse let us know that if we provide cheese and tortillas, he would be able to make our guests quesadillas with their choice of meat, and everyone loved it! He is quite meticulous with his food prep and likes to have hot, fresh food rather than pre-cooking and having food warm. Prepare your guests with appetizers, so they aren't starving by the time Jesse serves them. A lot of our guests had come starving and had already been drinking, so you know Jesse had his work cut out for him. We chose the 3 meat option plus fajitas for our vegetarian guests. If we had to do it again, we might have added on the rice and beans option. Plus, our friends are taco fiends and are endless pits, so it might be a different story with your guests. My parents have tried a variety of taco caterers in the OC area, and they agreed that Jesse's food was the best they've had yet. Thank you Jesse for catering our party!
