Well, where to start, where to start.... Drove in as is often so usual for a routine bit of service (tread on tires was quite worn) and turns out that I "needed" much more than that (feigned horror at upsell attempt). You see, there's a little program known as "tires for life" at this dealership, and it's supposed to credit you for the next set of tires you get. Well, it turned into a slightly over $500 nightmare. Apparently, I couldn't have the tire credit without the purchase of a cabin filter, air filter, alignment and the oh-so-fair inclusive sales tax. Nope, nah, no, I'm getting the hell out of dodge! The alignment, an obvious upsell, was noted as being mandatory for the tire credit...oh, damn. Also turned out I had missed a "scheduled service" (which one remains an arcanum since they seem to be on my ass every 5K miles anyway, and I respond by booking and going for service) Anyway, while I scratch my head and try to figure out what I missed, some free advice, don't be me. Cutting right to the chase, you'd be hard pressed to find a better or more customer friendly place to buy and/or service a Toyota than Jerry's Toyota on Belair Road. Every time I've been there I left with a smile on my face and feeling like I had just hung out with good friends - not at all like I've felt at other car dealerships. Matt, Walt, Kris, Charles and the entire sales team went out of their way to make me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I arrived. I got a great deal on my Tundra, a fair trade for my Tacoma, and incredible finance rates too. And when I go back for service, I feel the same sense of being "home". The free car washes are appreciated, and Kris always offers me a hot cup of coffee and a friendly slap on the back. John Reiner is the stereotypical car sales guy that you DON'T want to deal with! Initially my boyfriend Ted and I were just cruising the lot at Jerry's and spent some time speaking with Reiner on a used Tacoma and enjoyed the services Jerry's offered. We decided to come back and chat on a new SR5. Ted and I expressed we had perfect credit, our own financing and a significant down payment. Reiner said that the trim and color would have to be ordered, but in order for this to be done they needed us to do paperwork with Jerry's right away which required a credit pull. We said we'd be happy to leave a deposit, but refuse a credit pull and left on that note. Reiner knew that Ted and I are both in sales and have sold cars in the past, so he still decided to attempt his strong-arm tactics on us. He called us multiple times while we were working (knowing our hours) and tried to harass me when I told him I didn't have interest talking and wasn't feeling good. Ted and I made it loud and clear as to how we wanted the purchase our 2nd largest finance, but Reiner pushed the envelope further more. He then harassed another employee I know at Jerry's for information. Countless voicemails from alias phone #'s ensued with "good news from his manager". I left a voicemail with the manager at Jerry's complaining about our experience with nothing back. My family has purchased several vehicles from Jerry's Toyota and one even used to work there. I'm appalled at their lack of professionalism! Ted and I happily went a little further away to Bill Kidds Toyota and not only bought our brand new Tacoma, but up sold ourselves to the TRD. I've bought three new cars in the past two years in the area and decided to help a fellow Marine out in purchasing a used car at this dealership. After a few negotiations Terry Thomas (dealer) wasn't able to meet what the buyer was willing to pay. Simple enough so we walk out to be greeted by the dealer in full desperation. I get aggressive salesman, but this guy was over the top. Asked what he could do to get the business and told him straight up he couldn't go over a pre approved price. Matt Bukowski, the sales manager, was extreamely rude. He tried to tell me to get different insurance. Mr. Jon Sanders, the sales person who sold me my Hyundai Elantra treated me like I was stupid, and told me that he was looking to "find a wife, " when I told him that I was in the Graduate School of Social Work. He did not inform me that Hyundai Elantra's were currently being broken into at extremely high rates all across Baltimore City and County. After my car was broken into with intent to steal, within weeks of purchase. Mr. Bukowski tried to give hypothetical examples about his sales about his strategies and tactics, and avoided all questions and his verbiage did not have anything to do with the questions asked. Further I towed my car to their dealership for repairs. They did not inform me that their repair department does not work with Hyundai's and did not inform me until 8 days after it had been sitting there. When I came in in person with my brother, and every thing I asked, they made it to seem like it was my fault. It then needed to be towed again to another repair shop that could do this work. When called after a week, the person that represents me, "Jamie" said the repairs were complete, and to commute in, to pick it up. When I asked if Jamie can pay for my now additional rental car fees so that I can attend to my Field Placement Intership, Mr. Matt Bukowski told me, "Why don't you get better insurance." They are extremely rude and disrespectul to women, borderline harassment, and the disgusting attitudes that they displayed are extremely horrific, rude, and incompetent! After 8 days of waiting, taking a commute into their dealership, and them explaining that this is my fault, and their rude attitude. I will never go there again, and will take my wealth elsewhere. I wish I could give them NO STAR!!!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! These guys really live up to the phrase "USED CAR SALESMAN." They are NOT honest! I leased a Toyota Yaris 2 years ago, and they told me as long as I paid off this car or bought my next car from them, they would waive any additional mileage fees. Tim was the name of the employee who told me. After about 18 months (still 6 months left on my lease), I asked the dealership about paying off my lease or buying a new car. At that point, I hadn't planned to return my car 6 months early!!! They (Paul was the name of this employee) said "oh! you can change this car and get a new one right now, we have a great deal implying that I wouldn't have to pay off the remaining lease! So, I stayed there for 5-6 hours for the paperwork of the new car. I was extremely tired when I went to the financial office! Only at that point, the finance manager told me you MUST PAY 900$ for the rest of your lease!!! I was sooo angry and felt misled, but had no energy to discuss it. I bought my new car. Then 2 weeks later, I received a letter asking for payment of mileage fees for the leased car, WHICH THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY SAID THEY WOULD WAIVE!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? So, I went to the dealership and inquired about this fee and how I was misled! To re-iterate, Tim told me as long as you buy your next car from Toyota, you won't need to pay for additional mileage!!! Extremely dismayed with Jerry's Toyota. I've personally purchased four new Tacoma's and one 86 from them since 2007. I took my wife to buy one car and sent my son who has purchased 3 cars from them in that time. That's 9 new vehicles. I tried to buy a new car yesterday and told they would not sell me a car because I had my own financing through my bank. They said I had to pay cash or finance through them. What a despicable way to take advantage of your customers to line your own greedy pockets. Your new policy to increase profit by denying others financing is disgusting. He asked for my number in case the vehicle was sold before the appointment. When I arrived , he took e to a vehicle and told me that the one I wanted was "sold that morning". Worst customer service. I bought my car here and been experiencing this poor service from day one. They say the multi inspection has been performed but its a lie. I caught them once when they said they performed the tired rotation but my tires which were marked were at the same spot. Other time they said we filled the air in tires but my Odometer showed the same pressure readings. The tires for life program is a scam. They never explained it before but when i went in for tires replacement, i was told i rather get discount on tires. The price i was quoted, was more than the price i can get anywhere for tires. $120/tire for mounting and balacning, are you kidding me? $100 for mandatory alignment. ABYSMAL SERVICE I don't usually write reviews maybe a couple times because the service was so stellar. This will be the first negative review I have ever written. I'll break down my experience for the readers and for Matt(I wasn't even sure of who I talked to on the phone at the time but after reading the reviews it was 100% Matt) . The car market is crazy right now I get it. Have been looking for a specific model with certain specifications...after looking at over 400 dealers I finally found the car I was looking for at Jerry's Toyota. I feel somewhat relieved from my search, I call asking for information. I do expect markups especially for out of state buyers (not sure why that is, but it seems very much a thing now). I let him know I am interested in the car and that I am out of state, all is going fine currently, once he learns I'm out of state he stacks a 7k markup on the car, it's whatever because my 2020 Supra is worth much more than the car I was interested in. He learns I am very far out of state so he does not want to do trade, understandable I still have two vehicles I can sell with title in hand and buy the car in cash. Every dealer I talked to tried to get me to put a deposit down I was not looking to do that but that was the main option since they are not on the lots as was his (in transit) I asked about a deposit this where the convo starts going downhill. He then tells me "your not just gonna put deposits down all over the country" speaking to me like I'm a kid haha. I haven't put down any deposits and he wanted me to buy the vehicle before it landed on his lot kind of odd, but most likely a deterrent to scare me away. I don't know what type buyer Matt thought I was but even without the markups I wouldn't buy from this dealership. Not even saying the customer is always right, but don't get mad I want to buy one of your cars and it may not be the most convenient for you. If you don't want to sell out of state far just say it like other dealers have told me without being abrasive. This is not me being soft either I stayed on the phone with him asked my questions (despite his attitude) and answered his appropriately...I should have hung up on him as he would have done to me if I had came at him with the same energy. I bought my 2008 RAV4 from Jerry's Toyota. Periodically, I receive coupons for an oil change or something else from them. I have another Toyota, a Camry, for which I also receive periodic coupons (I didn't buy it at Jerry's). The coupons are VIN number specific and rather than check the coupon when I came in, the dealer ship did the service and AFTER the service told me they would not honor the coupon because it was for the wrong VIN. I had had the other car, the Camry, done just a couple of weeks before so they should have known it was the wrong VIN but the service department didn't bother to check. When I was upset about being charged nearly 3 times the coupon price, the staff was extremely intransigent and would not consider honoring the coupon. The dealership has always been very inflexible and an uncomfortable place to deal with and this was the icing on the cake. I got an expensive oil change, much more than my regular mechanic, I and I would never buy another vehicle from Jerry's nor go there for any other reason. There are better places to buy a Toyota or have your car serviced. AVOID JERRY'S. read more

I had many errands to run so they were nice enough to provide me with a loaner and surprisingly before I completed my errands I got a call at around 1pm my vehicle is ready. I Just called to check on an auto that was advertised on their web site. I saw a discrepancy in the description posted online ( leather vs. fabric seats were both listed for the same vehicle). The sales person Matt wasn't even familiar with the limited inventory they have. He told me if I lived in various zip codes I would get a price the was over $1K under MSRP, but if not it would be $1,000 over MSRP. I politely told him I never saw that approach to selling cars..specifically relating to zip codes getting discounts. He became offended and cut me short and before I could say more than a few words about selling over MSRP he hung up on me. They need to teach their sales people about polite authority vs. rude behavior. Jerry's has me as a customer for life! As of today this is my 3rd RAV I've leased from them. My previous salesman I got last 2 from Fletcher does not do sales but still works there. That had me nervous but Kilede my new salesman was just as amazing. He's very knowledgeable, friendly, straight forward, and time conscious of my time. The whole turning my old lease and and reserving new one was a seamless process start to finish. Was put in loaner RAV until my new one arrived. I can honestly say that they care about all of their customers and customer service. Can't be said about many dealerships at all. If any issues arise they act fast and resolve quickly as their reputation is something they seem to take very seriously. Been a customer since 2017 and that won't change until I'm 6ft in the ground! I dropped in to make a purchase of a Highlander and to see what was available. The sales man was a nonstop talker starting off the conversation about being honest, Toyota statistics, recalls and blah blah blah. I stated upfront that the Highlander was the car I was interested in. He then volunteered the RAV4 as the car he thought I could afford which I didn't want. It went on and on from there with constant blather about the RAV4. Refused to show me a Highlander. The bottom line is he did not know my finances nor did he ask. He refused to give me a value on my trade-in. . Just made assumptions based on what I had said about the car I wanted to trade in. He didn't ask what money or financing I had in place to purchase a Highlander. Never asked any of these questions. Just kept throwing out these crazy numbers about trade-in and what the real value is and how you apply that has a down payment which made no sense when there are no numbers being crunched. Jerry's Toyota made a super bad impression on me. I already had my financing in place and a down payment ready to put down on a Highlander. Taking my business elsewhere. I had been searching for a rare car and This dealership had it. I will highlight the good portions and at the end mention the one portion which wasn't the greatest. Before buying I was talking to an employee in the new car department. He carried on conversation about one of the same models I was buying except newer. Not a bad idea. The Used car salesmen, Marcus I believe, was very helpful. Two days later I came back to ask a question to the financial department. Before I walked in, the same new car employee showed me a new car they had just received which he new I would like. He was right. I also belong to a car club which members has ONLY this type of car, which will be of interest to them. However, in the financial office, Jimmy was not helpful at all. I had a question. He told me a halfhearted answer, which I then went to the manager's office who gave me a clear and appropriate answer. This answer was detailed since I don't buy car's over 20K annually. If I do decide to post the car for sale on the lot, I will be telling them to finance on their own so they will not have to deal with that aspect of the car buying experience. read more

Made an appoint 3 weeks prior to appoint, made it clear I had 2 hours for oil change and key cut, programming. Called 1 week prior to the appointment to make it clear my expectations. Confirmed on Thursday when the contacted me about the appointment. Arrived to find that the service manager did not Know what appointment was made, service desk employees give contrary information. Every time I come here it's a problem it's never a in and out thing .... #1 bought my car in for the 10 thousand mile oil change and I also had a slow leak they said they rotated my tires and wasn't nothing in my tires two days later my tire pressure light comes back on ..I bring it back up here where they tell me 3 rims are bent and one cracked mind you I have wheel and tire protection but they're telling me it's canceled....
