I got a car from this location and immediately the A/C died the next day. I took it back since they have what was advertised as a 7 day return to exchange the vehicle. After sitting around the dealership for 4+ hours they finally agreed to let me exchange the vehicle and that I would just need to pay the difference for the new vehicle. Once it came time to fill the paperwork out, they showed me the door price that added an additional $2500 for Lojack, which they claim is already installed on the vehicle and not negotiable (they said the same for the first vehicle I purchased with the dead AC but the cost of that Lojack was only $800). Unfortunately I had no choice since I couldn't have my money refunded, so I had to go through with that sale with the $2500 markup of something thats basically a glorified Airtag. So beware of this place. They will find ways to scam with you these markups that are not negotiable while they claim its because its already installed (remember I was there for 4+ hours, most of that was probably them installing the Lojack device). Ultimately its my fault for not walking out on the first purchase when they added the markup, but if anyone wants to save time and money I'd recommend not dealing with these people. They're also incredibly rude on top of that. Avoid this place if you're buying a used car.

I guess he thought being the manager gave him the right to be rude. He didn't check my income or anything--just took my license, walked to his office, came back, and asked how much I had down. I told him, because it was already on my application. Then he hits me with, "I can get you approved, but you'll need $7,000-$8,000 down. Do you have that?" And he didn't even sit down--he was standing behind me, clearly focused on another customer. At that point, I was done. I just pulled out my phone and called my ride. He shrugged, said "OK," tossed my license back on the desk, and walked off to help the other customer.

We only made the initial payment and car had to be towed (yes, it was not safe to drive back) not once but twice one with a radiator that had a hole in it and once due to active severe misfirings because of the bad spark plugs. We were told that if you were in a auto mechanic school and make such mistakes of not checking these coils or plugs you would never complete your education. It is really disheartening that they proud themselves about this so-called certification, yet they can't even do something as basic as a first month of student should know to check. It was a hustle to tow the car over there. Now we are on the same boat. Second time with a completely different problem. Unless you're a mechanic and can open up the engine and check all around that compartments I would be very wary to buy any used car from CarMax.

There happened to be a mixup on their in the application for an initial car that we were interested in. The staff here is very kind and knowledgeable and they do have a wide variety of vehicles you can purchase. They also detail the car but unfortunately the detail was not as "detailed" as I would like it. another negative was that the electric vehicle we ended up purchasing was not fully charged. In fact, it had less than 50% charge on it.

They claim to take responsibility for submitting the title/registration for your new car which you do pay for, but I had to go to the dmv to complete it myself. Any time you have a follow up question or ask about status they (specifically G and Ed) fake their customer service again and neglect to get back to you despite multiple calls and emails.

My mechanic mentioned this before buying the car they said they'd give me a new spare key. Instead. They gave me a key that wasn't computerized for my vehicle. My window motor on my passenger seat convienantly stopped working after the warranty cut off. What I did get was everything I needed to start my business. A 2011 Ford Transit XL and it only had 39,000 miles on it. It just sucks. Because the shady ness and dishonesty of the so called used car salesmen really live up to it's name. Lol.

The machine screws that affix the third brake light to the fixture are less than $5 and for how long my car was in the shop for a small repair like this, and for HOW MUCH I paid (over $500) they couldn't order these simple machine screws to complete the job properly. Instead of they left the light dangling. More importantly the fixture can just be snapped into place without screws, at the very least they could have done that but they decided to half-ass the job. I had to go to Home Depot myself and get the screws to affix it. There is a hardware store down the street from this place and they couldn't order the screws? Ridiculous Not to mention getting in touch with them to get an update is near impossible. I called after 3 business days bc I didn't get an update and it was just static on their end of the line. The vehicle was dropped at this location on a sunday for service at 7am on Monday. Upon me calling in to the shop at 8:10 am my sons car hadn't even been pulled in, i asked why make an appointment if the schedule wasn't going to be followed. I advised to the repair guy no need to diagnose the car for a fee when we discovered during towing the car it might be the battery so just change the battery an let it run that was hour discussion at about 12pm well needless to say my son didn't get car back until about 3:30pm all day for a battery.
