I was so excited I grabbed two. They're small (about $1.50 each), but absolutely delicious. Just a heads up--they're made with tapioca, so you have to enjoy that slightly chewy texture. This time, I ordered through Uber Eats for pickup--3 sandwiches and 2 pastries--and everything was fantastic. Super fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My only small complaint is that I wish more of their pastries were available to order online, because I'd definitely try even more. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. I called in the morning time and by 2:30 p.m. the cake was ready for pick up. I didn't catch the name of the lady who I spoke with on the phone but she was very kind and helpful. The chocolate mousse birthday cake we ordered was fresh and delicious as can be. The cake reminded me of a softer kind of brownie with the best tasting mousse on it. It was perfection, flavor and texture wise alike. Today we visited for dessert and I must say you simply cannot go wrong with whatever you order here. We shared a tiramisu, a dulce de leche/tres leches cake and a Portuguese donut.. I could not decide which I liked most. They were all THAT good. Again the woman who attended me was patient while explaining the desserts to us and the establishment was clean and inviting too. I believe we've found another small business to gladly support. Yes! Sweet Nutrition (the name selected by the couple's seven-year-old child) offers healthy teas & shakes. With each order, you'll receive a tea & a shake. The shake is a complete meal. (Herbalife products are used in each creation. According to the Herbalife company website, "Herbalife is a global nutrition and weight management company.") There are five Tea flavors offered here (Raspberry, Chai, Cinnamon, Peach, & Lemon) & three Aloe flavors (Mandarin, Cranberry, & Mango). There are also "Superhero Energy" teas, "Energized Beauties" teas, & Kids' teas. My Raspberry tea was delicious! Many shakes are offered. Eleven (11) "Naked" shakes are available, such as Chocolate, Vanilla, Mint Chip, Strawberry Cheesecake, Cookies 'n Cream, & Orange Cream, as well as fourty (Yes, 40) "Specialty Shakes." The two most popular flavors are Death by Chocolate & Turtle Cheesecake. (I had the latter today; it was delicious & tasted exactly as the name implied!) See the door pic that lists all the wonderful varieties offered! Before Coronavirus arrived, bakery items such as Black Bean Brownies & healthy grain waffles were offered. As you walk in you are greeted, very enthusiasticly, by the staff. The interior is decorated with pictures, signs and clocks all having to do with trains. The staff are all friendly and the food was very good. My wife had the biscuits and gravy. According to the menu, the biscuits and gravy are homemade. When the plate comes out, the gravy looks can bought; but my wife said it tasted homemade and so did the biscuits. I had one of their skillets, which was very good. This was a very pleasant place to visit.
