Suckin' on chili dogs at "Jersey Johnny's" tasty freeze, thinking about whatever I please. The dogs love their 20 varieties, I can't disagree. I am a "All the Way Weiner fan, $2.95, and all the onions, mustard and chili one man can stand. Sometimes I opt for the combo, $6.44, comes with fries and all the fountain drinks, if you please.. Oh yeah, the menu goes on, Philly Steaks $7.10, Taylor Ham, egg and cheese $5.60, hot roast beef $6.90, and a rib eye cheese steak sandwich $8.84 and options that go way beyond. Bottled water $1,60 and all fountain drinks are $1.79. I'll let you think about that for some time, while I order a strawberry milk shake $3.50, instead. This was a food truck that came to my job last week. I thought the food was really good, and the prices were also great. I got a chili cheese dog, and a dog with kraut. I certainly love a good hot dog. As a side I indulged in the chili cheese fries. For a food truck I thought the chili was very good. I'll definitely be sampling more of their options if they return. First visit was a fluke. Was headed elsewhere but ended up at Jersey Johnny's. A unexpected delight. Hot dogs were great and their chili sauce was delicious. Very good fries as well. Tried the fries with onions and sauce. Yum! Went back for a second visit and added a mustard and kraut dog to my order. That was also very tasty. Would be a 5 star but they were out of Birch Beer. This is a nice little spot to stop if you are feeling like having a dog or burger. Clean, friendly, and prices are reasonable. Can't tell what dogs they use (thinking Best's but not sure). Also couldn't tell how they were cooked, as it seemed like they were pre-cooked and then deep fried for a minute or two. Ends were pretty tough, but rest of the dog was good. Found this on my way to another meeting and had a craving for either a burger or a dog. The place definitely looked like it could go either way from the reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Coming in I was originally saying dog but then got drawn to the cardiac arrest burger because it had Taylor pork roll on it. Asked for a dog recommendation and was told the "All the way". The burger wasn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't all that great even though I had my pork roll on it. If anything I was disappointed since I was having higher hopes for it. In hindsight I should have probably just ordered two dogs. The hot dog was a better choice. The "all the way" is a chili, onion, mustard and I chose to add cheese. Its pretty good and reasonably priced. Didn't knock my socks off, but if I was driving by again and needing to feed a hunger, it would do just fine. Overall the place is pretty good. I was happy with my dog and had only minor disappointed with the burger. If you are nearby this isn't a bad choice if your in the mood for a hot dog, but probably not something I would drive far out of the way to find either. read more

Got 2 dogs all the way and the chili sauce tastes a little sweet to me. Not sure what the ingredient is but much prefer the all the way dogs at McCobbs - although you will pay more there. The fries were great but they have this watery Red Gold brand ketchup - come on man don't skimp on ketchup in a hot dog joint, that just ain't right. Stewart's root beer on tap is a nice touch but other drinks also not mainstream - I think I saw RC cola there. Two dogs, drink and fries for under $10 so the price is right, just think you need to up your condiment game. Nice guys working there, lots of old timers in for lunch. We've ordered from them 4 or 5 times since they are close and I can say they are just ok. I like the fries and onion rings but the all the way sauce isn't that good. Hot Grill, Goffle Grill, Johnny & Hanges have better dogs and burgers. I can't wait until this coronavirus thing breaks so we can go back to enjoying the foods outside of our living area. read more

I went to eat here early this afternoon. When I entered all I could smell was chemicals and a woman was washing the floor. I asked if they were closing because of the smell. The young woman at the counter said no that they were only washing half the floor and would wash the other half later. I didn't know if I should go someplace else but went to the farthest corner of the room and the smell was faint so I decided to stay. I was about 1/2 way through my meal when I saw "Kaitlyn" coming to wash the floor on our side. I asked her nicely if she would please wait to do that until I could finish my food before she did that because the chemical smell was awful. She made a face and left. The sitting guy across from me turned and gave me a thumbs up. But Kaitlyn was back within a couple of minutes and looking me directly in the eye proceeded to start mopping the floor. I asked her again to please wait. She wouldn't . I got the owner's contact info and left the rest of my meal uneaten. I contacted the owner whose response was to say what a good worker Kaitlyn is and they have cleaning protocols for "down time" - (there were people eating at two of the tables near me) and said if I stopped by he would credit me for my half eaten meal. Pretty much gets worse every time I go. Staff and service are fine which is why they got the second star. Food quality is pretty bad and getting worse. They couldn't be any more conservative with the mustard if they tried but overall dogs kinda bland and dry as if overcooked, bread/rolls are soso, burger patties are average at best. Chili sauce is still solid but the David's cookies they have sitting there hard as a rock as if they've been there for months. Overall just not a great lunch experience. read more

I agree with Regina that the soda machine was really gross, the soda is also very weak like it tastes like soda diluted with seltzer. I like the hot dogs though, their all the way dogs with the chili, onions and mustard was my fav, although their chicago dog is pretty good too. They also have sweet potato fries which are crispy and sweet and served piping hot. Also I think Sundays their dogs are $1.50 which is pretty cheap, also that applies to wednesday, I think? Not great. The burger was the only redeeming quality of this place. The fried chicken is average, the biscuits taste generic, the mashed potatoes are disgusting. But the real gross part about this trip was the soda machine, disgusting tasting soda that, the machine looks like it's never been cleaned, and I ended up not even drinking the soda I bought because it was so nasty. I enjoyed my food here. I only got a dog all the way and can only comment on that. This place has been several other places in the past and because of that, I wasn't holding out a lot of hope.
