Forgot one of my large fries!! Do we really have to sit there and look through the whole bag to make sure we get the food we paid for????

Today I went in before heading home further east....i ordered on my app and I walked in as I waited the lady starts to prep bag and check on the food she decided to pay more attention to the free loader asking for free drinks... she actually gives the lady free drinks then really fast puts my food in bag.... Mind you I said no cheese as I'm allergic in the app and on the sticker on burger yet I open it's covered in cheese!!!!!! I didn't find out till at home too far and can't go back!!!!! I called customer service and reported this location for this and I'm expecting a refund!!!!!!!! If you have food allergies and you expect them to up hold a standard Worst Mc Donald in San Diego!!!!! read more

I had a great experience at McDonald's today. I used the app and got table service. The server was friendly and even conversational. I liked that she showed a genuine interest in me as a person and not just table 109. I ordered the Bacon Egg and Cheese McGriddle and a large Sugarfree Vanilla ice coffee. Both were very good. I liked that my Mcgriddle was prepared with care and not sloppily thrown together. I spread some butter and drizzled some maple syrup on it which made it especially good. It was great that it was an app deal for only $5.00 and of course Gavin had to get his share which was 38¢ in today's economy that ain't bad. I rounded out my meal by redeeming loyalty points for an order of hash browns. Overall a great experience. My experience could have been better had the AC not been working so good. On 4 visits now this place has gotten the rudest woman in the drive thru. While I order an item almost immediately after my word ends she's saying and then and then and then. I always feel so rushed. Idk if she wants to seem fast but she isn't fast my order is always wrong. So she's not fast. I watch her while I wait and she is always in someone's space it's so annoying to watch. Also I noticed the nice women this location had are gone and the service here is just terrible now. So now I stop here for only drinks. And then and then and then I go somewhere else for food. Used app, ordered 10 min prior to arrival. Parked curbside - waited another 15 min. Saw the drive thru move quickly - convinced we should have gone thru there rather than curb side. Joe Pesci must have come to this McD's - because we got f'd at curbside - missing McNuggs but they had the audacity to give us the dipping sauce. Worst case, the restaurant's phone number - found three different numbers - all do not work!!! Found 800 number for complaints - had to do that - still out the money. Half my order was missing. Drove 30 minutes there to get the kids McDonalds for doing a good job in school for the month drove 30 minutes back home just to find out half my order is missing. Holy skibidi, this mcdonalds was the most epic mcdonalds I've ever been to. We went in, ordered 100 nuggets and felt bad so we apologized to the staff and the lady was so nice told us not to and even apologized to us for the wait?? And then gave us some ice cream and drinks during the wait? It was so sweet. And then the nuggets we didn't order for ourselves but they smelled so good and yummy so we stole some and everyone agreed they are some of the best nuggets we ever had from mcdonalds. We have always gone to this McDonald's and we have not been disappointed. The food and great and they have the best fries. We just tried the new Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry and it was really good! The hot fudge Sundays are really good too. They have lots of seats inside and a large menu. The service is good and the staff are usually nice to work with too. Prices are getting higher but I guess it's the same for any fast food place these days. read more

I redeemed points for a sausage/egg McMuffin. My order was cancelled, with no explanation why. Employees at restaurant had no explanation. They just looked at my phone verified that I was at the correct location, and that I had indeed placed the order. They said we don't know what the problem is, and proceeded to go back to work. I stood there for 5 minutes, no one ever offered an explanation, or attempted to solve the problem. They just acted like I wasn't even there, completely ignored me. After 5 minutes it became apparent that nobody cared, and they were not going to help me, so I left. It was very odd, they had no solution so they just ignored me. That's the type of customer service we get nowadays. Nobody actually does the job they are paid to do. As long as they show up, they get paid, regardless of job performance. The service today was horrible. The lady at the window was arguing with me about the app reward that I was trying to use. Keep in mind I use this reward weekly so I order the same each time. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese no bun. She tells me I can't have that only a single patty. After continuing to argue with me I said I would like to order at the window so I can show you my phone. I proceeded to the window and she said you already paid. I said for what and she says your single patty quarter pounder. I said no I wanted a double and I had her read my phone. I told her to read it out loud and she did and she read that it says a double quarter pounder. Then says well my computer says no so no. How about you make the moment right and give me what your app says to give me. read more

What an awesome worker! Sidel completely went above and beyond! It was just before closing time and after paying she asked if we wanted an extra pie. Of course we said yes! I frequent this McDonald's in Alpine because it is close to my home and on my way to my destinations. Today I decided to try something different. Buttermilk chicken sandwich. My sandwich was not worth eating Unfortunately, I did not notice this until I got home. The bun was cold and burnt, my chicken was cold and the lettuce and tomatoes looked old. Fix your freaking hours. Showed up at 5:30am before a long drive out East to get some food and went unanswered in the drive thru. Online says 5am and so does your door. Lights were on inside and the drive thru. Super annoyed. Guess I'll be headed to El Centro to get breakfast. read more

What time do you close? Last night 2 dumb girls sitting in lobby with all the lights on in drive thru. I watched several customers pull up a little after 10:00 pm . No one came to answer drive thru that has a posted12:00 close time. If you close earlier fix your sign and if your going to sit there like clowns turn off the drive through lights. This is probably the nicest and cleanest McDonald's I ever been too! All of the food is made fresh when ordered and they have added several healthy options to their menu. I also like that they offer breakfast items all day now and some lunch items before 11am. The staff is always very friendly and they bring your food to the table. Only thing I don't really like is their electronic menu. It flips through items to quickly and doesn't give enough time to read each section so you have to stand there and wait for it to cycle back through everything. The menus look cool but they should have a printed menu posted somewhere in case of a glitch in the system or for people like me who are slow readers ?!?! read more

We have only had good experiences here, but we also sit inside and only do breakfast late, so it doesn't seem that busy. Food has always been good and come out on time, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. One annoying thing is you can order to have it delivered to your table, but they have no table numbers. Just look at most McDonalds reviews, and they are rarely above 3 stars, and some deserve it. Sadly, I live in Alpine. And until my house sells and I can move back to the city, this and Carl's Jr. are the only games in town, last time I was at Carls Jr. the drive through people were half dead and someone was running around in the restaurant screaming. I was at McDonald's on Tuesday night, August 23, 2022, and I am not exaggerating, waited in the drive up for a half an hour. The line stretched out to the supermarket. I turned my engine off. Now this could've been some numb nuts asking where they get the oil for the fries or if the meat is free-range, of course, there's always one. But the employees were frantic. The cash window was closed so the guy at the pick up window was doing cash and making food and handing out food. I saw only two other employees there. Was going to pay with cash but I thought I might as well give the poor guy a break. My biggest complaint tho, and I blame management for this as well. I get a large fry it's NOT ALL THE WAY FULL. It really burns my butt. I know that the word has come from ON HIGH to measure or count or something the fries. Fckg ridiculous. The unmitigated greed. Thank you McDonalds workers who work at this Alpine location, I appreciate that you're doing the best you can with what little you have. Especially the people who work the cash window who give my dog a milk bone. It's the highlight of her week.
