Ms. Latara was cleaning and very friendly and nice person... Ms. Kaiden did the cash work and was pretty quick, sharp and wonderful. Nice of them to make a Veggie sub and a regular fountain- very friendly folks. Easy to make them understand service was good and they had nice way of cooking - they also heated up for this cold weather Wonderful

I have been to this Jersey Mike's location a few times and I have always had a good experience. The restaurant has always been clean, the staff friendly, and the food fresh and delicious. I'm part of the Jersey Mike's birthday club which gives you a coupon for a free regular sub and a 22 ounce drink that is good for a year. I LOVE this, because most other birthday clubs only give you a gift for the day of your birthday or a coupon that is good for a week which means that sometimes you don't have enough time to use the coupon. I got the club supreme on rosemary parmesan bread which has roast beef, turkey, bacon and it dressed Mike's Way which is lettuce, tomato, onion, herbs, red wine vinegar, and olive oil. It was my first time trying this sub and I really enjoyed it. The ingredients were all fresh and the bacon was nice and crispy, not limp like some places. The new rosemary parmesan bread was great. I don't like too much rosemary because it can be overpowering but it was just the right amount. I got the agave vanilla cream soda and it was really tasty. I've had cream soda before, but this brand was really smooth and had the perfect flavor. I will definitely be eating here again!

I am craving a Jersey Mike's Sub right now! Can someone run by and get one for me? haha. I had Jersey Mike's a little over 3 years ago. I was not impressed. I gave it a second whirl since it is right around the corner from me. 2nd visit...IMPRESSED! Being a girl from Philadelphia, I am a snob when it comes to hoagies (Subs as you southerners call them). So I guess you can say I have high standards. To put it in perspective to Orlando natives...I am not sold on the Publix sub. They are very inconsistent. Sometimes amazing, sometimes extremely disappointing. What hit me as soon as I walked into Mike's subs was the smell of the bread baking. YUM! Fresh bread daily that actually is pretty close to Northern bread, but not exactly. They also had a regular italian hoagie I could order instead of substituting the capicola ham (ewwww) with genoa salami. They had it on the menu, a CORRECT italian hoagie: Provolone, Tavern Ham and Genoa Salami. FTW! They also slice the meat fresh in front of you for each and every sandwich that is ordered. Publix can't say that...although they should! I love my meats sliced thin and that is exactly what I got. While I was waiting for my sandwich to be created, since it was dead and just after 11am on a wed...the guy stocking the chips read me my horoscope out of the newspaper. That was a nice customer service touch! The ultimate topping on a real hoagie is the oregano and they came through!!! It was really a delicious sandwich and I think I am going to become a regular. Some of the owners are from up north which is kinda cool. I always feel better when I go into a location that has a city or state in it's name and there is actually someone working there from that location. Call me weird...just makes me feel better about the place ;o)

Let's be honest, this is a sub place and there are a lot of sub places out there so why pick Jersey Mikes over any of the others? Well as far I as can tell the reasons you might want to go here over any of the others, all things being equal, is that they carve the meat and cheese fresh as you order and they use a flattop grill to heat up the ingredients for their hot subs rather than nuking them. Other then that I have nothing. Their website states that the bread is baked daily on the premises but I didn't get that yeasty, fresh baked bread smell when we walked in like you get at Subway and they only have two options - wheat or white. Because we try to keep it healthy, we had our sandwiches on wheat and frankly the bread was nondescript. I didn't get a fresh baked bread taste at all. I like the breads at Subway much more. At Jersey Mikes they also have very limited sub fixings - onions, lettuce and tomato. I much prefer the nutritional and flavor bonus of all the vegetable add-ons you get at Subway. And they have limited condiment options in the prep area - basically oil & vinegar. Other options are hidden away somewhere I guess - but it makes it confusing. They offer soups but I didn't see what they were when we were there today and you can lighten it up by basically getting your sub fixings in a bowl without the bread. No doubt if you don't really care about the nutritional value and eat these subs as the are designed, covered oil or mayo, they are probably tasty. But since I just can't bring myself to eat close to 1000 calories and 50 g of fat for an average lunch sub (regular size not even the giant), I will stick with Subway. It's less expensive and better for me.

I was brought a meatball sub from here when it first opened and it was good but not great... This last week we went again, ate in store, and I decided to try the steak n cheese. It was really good! I got it without peppers... I saw them doing what I love best about a steak n cheese, they cooked it all together on the grill (steak, onions, cheese) and then ladled it onto a HUGE sub! If you have a way to keep the sub, get the big huge one, pay a buck more and have half the next day (or for dinner). My daughter had the italian sub and she loved that, too. Maybe a little too much lettuce (and messy-it's shredded) but who cares when it's that good, right? I have a new favorite sub place!

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

A few times that I've come in since, I have seen some ladies in the back hand rolling dough for the pastries or other breaded goods sold. I do know that if you purchase a meat pie or pastry, that they will offer to warm it up for you. I've had a meat pie and a Danish and they both were delicious. It seems that most people order food items to go, however, they do have a quiet corner that appears to be set for indoor dining use. The prices of everything seem pretty reasonable and fair to me.
