I have Jersey Mike tubs to maintain a low carb keto diet. They're great for that(I've lost 47 lbs in 6 months) The store was very busy with one person on break and a ton of people came in. I ordered using the app thinking it would be more efficient. The shift leader spotted me and asked if I was there to pick up an order. Ordered a California sub at 10:04 am today, after the employee took my order they were preoccupied putting bread away while apparently the manager was making my sandwich in the back. I opened my sandwich and found it was not made to order at all. Lettuce, tomato, mayo, and some weird pieces of chicken were present. I drove back to Mike's and said I ordered a California sub, the employee and manager argued that this is California sub. I showed them a picture from the website and they said it depends franchise to franchise what a sandwich is called and how it is made. I said I have ordered this before here at this location and this is not an California sub, but they disagreed saying what I meant to order was a Turkey sub. So the manager made another sub, but when I opened it, it was missing bacon, avocado, and was made with sweaty meat. She never even asked if I wanted it toast the first or second time. This place shouldn't offer online ordering. I placed an order at 11:25, was told it would be ready at 11:40, and walked in the door at 11:45. At 12 pm, my order was printed out and I was told it would "be a while." I got a refund and appreciate that they didn't make me wait for that either. YIKES!!! I will start off by saying I am indeed a fan of Jersey Mike's BUT this place was horrible! I'm not sure what it was but the sandwich had a similar taste of Subway which I hate! The bread was lifeless , meat had a weird taste to it and over kill on the mayo but no where in the delivery place to put light mayo or even request Dijon mustard. I would have to say this was a huge disappointment and turn off... Went back to read the reviews and realized this is pretty common at this location. I haven't had Jersey Mike's in years. I've maybe only had it maybe once or twice before. I was getting tired of Jimmy John's so I was like let's give this another go. It's not that I didn't like my experiences at other Jersey Mikes but they weren't too memorable to have me come back. Anyway, today, I ordered online and got the #5 Super Sub. I added bacon, jalapenos and mustard, with the rosemary parmesan bread. This was a good sandwich. I appreciate the crispy bacon and that the jalapenos actually had a nice kick and crunch to them. Next time, I'll probably request a lighter helping of the vinaigrette and olive oil just because it was a tad bit messy. Didn't take away from the taste though. When I arrived, I was maybe a couple minutes before my actual pick up time but I could see that my order was ready on the counter. I was greeted pretty immediately. The girl who helped me was friendly and gave me a bunch of napkins which were much needed, thank you. Overall it was a good experience. I'm bummed to write a bad review about this place. I was a regular customer for awhile since I have been working down the road and this place used to be one of my favorites. I can say that I will not be going back to that store until staff has either changed or the extremely rude employees learn better customer service skills. Ordered using the curbside pickup. Arrived and selected "I'm here." We waited 15 minutes and nobody ever came out. One employee was just dancing around the window, obviously bored. I went inside and the bag was just sitting on the counter. Perhaps the employees don't know how curbside works yet? I ordered the hot sub with the portobello mushrooms, peppers, and onions. This particular location is not high on my list. First time here and I walk in to ALL the tables needing to be wiped down - oily, with crumbs everywhere. There were enough employees that someone could have grabbed a wet towel to wipe off the tables. It was not busy. This store (located across the street from the Auburn Super Mall, on 15th street) has always been our go-to Jersey Mikes sub shop. The last four consecutive times we have been there our order has been wrong!! We went back the previous three times and they happily remade our sandwiches correctly, however it gets annoying when you have to wait 40 minutes for them to remake them because they put you back in line again. The 3rd visit the shift lead argued with me that the #5 is basically the same sub as the #8 and it may be, but my wife wanted the #8 with mayo mustard and pickles, no onions, or oil and vinegar, we want the sandwiches made the way we ordered them, and then to add insult her sub was supposed to be on rosemary parm bread (the #5 was made with rosemary parm) they ran out of rosemary parm and had to make it with white bread, and then they put heavy mustard on the sandwhich!!!! She didn't even eat hers! The shift manager gave us a free soft drink and chips card, but I never get those and it clearly shows on the receipt what I ordered, I guess it's a nice gesture,, but if you don't get soft drinks and chips I feel it's a slap in the face. I have called to ask for the correct sandwiches made to save time (I learned after the first incident,) but they still wait till you come into the restaurant to remake the subs, and if they are busy you are put in line and I have waited at the store for 45 minutes!!! With Covid, to wait in the store, I am now subjecting myself to the possible contraction of the virus!!! It is my time and gas that I waist to go there twice every time to have them make the subs correctly (which should be done right the first time.) Yesterday was the final straw, we ordered two cold giants my wife's w/rosemary parm bread (#8) and mine w/white bread (#11) I even opened the bag at the store to make sure we had the correct sandwiches! I responded they must've been but then I unrolled mine and I ended up with the rosemary parm and my wife had the white bread! I worked fast food long ago & I get wanting to go home, and as a business owner I realize waste $$$. But in the last 10 days I've stopped by 3 times. First night 8:20pm, "sorry we only have wheat bread" I wanted white for my "big kahuna" but no worries...wheat fine..still taste good. A few night's later figured I'd give another chance...again coming in around 8:20ish...told the same, only wheat, no white bread...hmm..ok I'll take wheat again although not what I hoped for. MAIN reason to lower the rating from 4 to 2 is I went again tonight same time & was told they had NO bread!! I could have a wrap or a salad. Not nearly the size and scope of the store in Fort Myers Florida but they do have awesome subs. This place is worth every cent spent. My fav is 'The Big Kahuna'...a cheesesteak. If you ever get one you will know what I mean or what they mean by 'BIG'. I add stuff and they don't charge extra unless you add bacon. lol They offer their rewards program, so let them plug you info into their system and every time you buy a sub, just be sure to remind them and you might get a deal on that very next sammich. Its a really quiet location over by the Outlet Mall. I hope more folks go keep them busy. If you eat too much, you can go shopping afterwards and work it out.
