I entered and was very pleasantly surprised they had red white and blue balloons to each table and booth. They also had 1 table with a white tablecloth, a glass, a candle and a rose for Veteran's Day. I thought that was very respectful and touching. Good on Freddy's. Today I got the jalapeño and pepper jack cheese burger with tater tot's. Tots were great. Light and crispy. The burger was great. It was 2 thin burger patties. Cheese and a lot of pickled jalapeños. I actually had to take a few off they really didn't skimp on the jalapeños. The burger was great. Cashier was nice. We chatted a little.

This location is incredibly dirty and the food is prepared by people who couldn't care less. We were served by two touch screens and a disaffected young person who couldn't care less and seemed high on gummies. The men's room at this location is utterly filthy and way dirtier than most gas station restrooms. The hand washing basin is dangling off the wall and has caulk all over it which seems applied by a drunken repair person. It was literally disgusting and smelled worse. I was so put off by my visit that I have realized that it is not worth the risk to dine here anymore. I will never return. Torchy's used to be a great Austin restaurant but it is now being systematically ruined by its new owners who are clearly only focused on how much money they can wring out of the place. All the creativity and positive energy are gone, replaced by filth and gross inedible food. The food also tastes much worse and I suspect it is now being sourced at Sysco or some other giant logistics company that produces the same bland cafeteria class food ingredients that other private equity-owned restaurants use. If you value your health, please stay away from this restaurant and its branches. I literally do not review too many places but I was truly blown away by how filthy and disgusting this restaurant was.

I am not the person to leave a review on anything, quite frankly this is the first ever. Today I went in to order 3 subs for my family and was met with the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I have ever met in a fast food environment. They not only were extremely rude to me but yelled at an older gentleman who could not understand what the mumbling order taker was saying. I for one do not care for the disrespect on me but you do not speak to an elder or anybody in that way, ever. My family has always loved Jersey mikes but can now say never going back. I've never experienced anything like this and I hope that lady can figure out whatever she's got going on at home. Such a shame. read more
