My order was placed online, I arrived at the designated time 15 mins later. The inside of the store had a garbage can to the right of the door upon entering the facility. There were flies, when I got there, 3 people were in line. They greeted me & asked what my name was. Then the rep stated they were completing my order. I waited and watched as they helped all other customers. But I noticed that each time they touched the screen to cash out the customers; they used the same gloves. When they went to the back to get more bread or get a new scraper; same gloves. Each time the man on the grill touched the food then went to the back, then came to make another sandwich same gloves. Not only that, after I waited it turns out they never made my order & were trying to give me another customers order. I asked them to cancel & the woman stated she just works there & just started working doing the best she can. But she doesn't know how to do a cancellation, the man thankfully did. This location has the right people working there. Wife and I went in to see if we could use a coupon we had. Sal made it happen. He was courteous and polite. Joseph made my wifes sandwich just the way she likes and kept asking of it was okay to make sure it was the way she likes. Sal....he was a many of few words but knew exactly what I wanted on my #43. The dining area was clean and the food prep area was spotless. Joseph and Sal are an amazing duo who show amazing customer service and care. Good job whoever hired them! I visited this establishment this evening with my grandsons who are 5 and 10 years old. I wanted to treat them after a visit to the MVP Kids clinic. We had never been before so we didn't know what to expect except that it mimicked Subways. I ordered mini sub a regular sub and a mikes Philly and 2 bags of chips. The young man who took my order was very personable and after he took my order he asked me to proceed to the cash register to pay even though there were two women ahead of us. I stood at the register for 4 minutes before the young man who was fiddling around in front of me decided to allow me to pay for my order. Once I paid I thought all I had to do was wait until my order was completed. But, there was yet another young man screaming my name so I went to see if he was finished but he wanted to see what I wanted on my sandwich I asked if I could have lettuce and tomato and olives. He slamming my food down on the counter as if someone has made him upset. He begins to assemble the sandwich with no condiments whatsoever so I asked if he could put mayonnaise on it and the way he handled it was making me uncomfortable. I asked him if he could do the regular sub the same as the mini. He complied with my wishes but not before treating that sandwich the same as he did the mini but this time he let me know he wasn't happy by throwing my sandwich at me. I hope to god that your establishment has a video camera. I was quick enough to think to record all of them being so disrespectful to a customer. After he did this I let him know that my money was just as good as everyone else's. I chose Jersey Mike's they didn't choose me and I thought there should have been a level of appreciation. This is my 2nd time at a jersey Mike's had a good turkey sandwich here with extra turkey and a small T came out to be $14 even could not believe the pricing for a sandwich and small drink but hey it is probably one of the best turkey sandwiches I've ever had from a small Sandwich Spot don't see myself coming here all the time for lunch but I may once in awhile that pricing needs to come down just a tad they would be a lot more popular read more

The employees here are something else . They are rude, no customer service skills, and sincerely lack the desired to even work . I walked in, one girl was standing at the cash register, another was just scrapping the cutting board and another one was fiddling his fingers . After about 4 min of waiting I was finally acknowledged, I asked for a number 8 regular on white and a Chicken big kahunna. They start working on my number 8. It apparently took a party of two to put condiments on it, the girl at the register and the guy scraping the cutting board, I found it odd that they were simultaneously working on my sandwich and it still came out tasting horrible . so in the mean time an online order customer comes in and asks if her hot sub is ready, they said no, so she asks 5-10 min ? they said yes, i saw the guy working on hot subs , and i paid for my order, the girl slammed two cups mouth side down on the counter, i requested another cup and kindly told her i don't want the part that's going to touch my mouth be on the counter. After I paid for the order i sat down waiting for my hot sub, i waited and waited ... the guy behind the counter called out a name and tried to hand me a hot sub, i said no that's not my name . he said so what are you waiting on ? i said the chicken big kahunna that i ordered , he raised his eyebrows and slammed his hands to his side and said i didn't even cook that one .... it was 730 pm , on a Thursday ... there was 2 customers in the entire store and your telling me you forgot to cook my sandwich... great . so I wait around for another 10 min and finally get to go home to eat my soggy, unappetizing sandwich . I love Jersey Mike's but this particular location lacks consistency. I've eaten there about six times since they opened and it's definitely hit or miss. Always new staff when we go in so I'm thinking maybe a lot of turnover. Last night I ordered the Cancro and the roast beef was little tiny shavings of the very end of the roast. Over cooked, dried out and very sparse. We will drive down to the one on Dysart going forward as they are very consistent and always excellent. It's too bad because we live really close to the one on McDowell but I want to know that it's going to be good, not just toss a coin and hope for the best. read more

I am very glad they put a jersey mikes next to my school. I live in surprise and the one in surprise is always very clean and very nice but this one here is not. The tables are not wiped down and the food line where they make your sandwich is not clean at all there's parts of other people's sandwiches in the containers of tomatoes and mayo. I personally think all these reviews are fake or really really exaggerated. spoke to one of the employees about and even he has said that most of the ones he has seen they haven't been true. but i ate there and ordered a #7 and a #17. and it was made good, staff was able to make me feel comfortable even making jokes when i didn't know what "mikes way" was. the #17 was made amazingly, it was a little soggy when i arrived home but what else can you expect from a sandwich that's been sitting in a wrap for 10+ minutes, definitely not they're fault. the store was cleaner then all these reviews are claiming to be, tables were wiped off, employee was sweeping the dining room when i came in (at around 12am), the bathroom was just a generic clean bathroom. it's all around a great store and i have had no problems with it at all. yelp needs to do something about reviews from last year because the manager told me he's only been here since the beginning of the year. sucks this place as 2.5 reviews and people nitpicking everything these teenagers do like if the employees at mcdonald's aren't doing the same thing and most likely worse ! if you have a complain go directly to the employee and they will get it handled ! read more

I was there when the "subway" customer (MA) was there and it was certainly not the manager being belligerent. My daughter encouraged me to try Jersey Mike's for the first time. I ordered a turkey and provolone, NO OIL ONLY MUSTARD! Paid online and my daughter picked up our sandwiches 15 minutes later. When she got home I discovered my sandwich had no mustard at all and what seemed like extra oil--it made the bread soggy! Love that they actually use a griddle to make hot subs rather than a microwave like the other places. No one else slices their meats per order like they do. I tried their philly cheese sandwich and it was yummy! I don't like their tip options which force you to choose when they turn the tablet over for you to sign. Cashier is watching you and it's an uncomfortable feeling. I didn't think making a sandwich entitled someone a tip... is it just me? I want to make you aware of the extremely poor and rude customer service my wife just experienced at this store. I ordered 2 sandwiches using my mobile app. My wife picked them up on her way home. She ordered the #26 Chicken Ranch. When she bit into her sandwich she noticed it was dark like beef and tasted bad. She called the store and a male she spoke with apologized and said she could return the sandwich and they would make a new one. When she took the sandwich back a young girl named OLIVE told her the reason the meat was dark because the grill was dirty. Really? Health department issue there. AND THEN she told my wife that she didn't have to make her another sandwich, through subject sandwich in the trash and walked away into the other room. The other young man working with her was nervous and embarrassed but made my wife a replacement sandwich. My question is has OLIVE ever received any customer service training? Totally unacceptable. We enjoy your sandwiches but will never go back to that store again and we intend on spreading the word about our experience. read more

I'm so disappointed in this location. My entire family loves Jersey Mike's although they have the highest prices in town for a sub , the sandwiches are the best ! Yesterday I went in and ordered two subs however the staff was unorganized and rude. Myself and my mother were the only customers and the staff hardly made any eye contact with us ! The manager seemed to be super stressed out due to a huge phone order due to the current Corona virus situation but again the other two employees were rude and if you asked a question they ignored you. I was cashing out my order and advised I want to get my points and the cashier rolled his eyes while saying something under his breath. My total was $26 for two subs and I gave the gentleman $40 dollars. He closed the register without giving me change and when I asked him what's going on , he wouldn't answer me or respond ! It was so rude , he walked away and went to speak with manager. He came back and stilll wouldn't answer my questions. I asked if he needed help with the correct amount of change , again no response. My mom was so upset that she asked him to give us our change and he just put it on the counter , never told us the subs were ready and it was so humiliating. One sub was a Philly cheesesteak and it was totally disgusting and thrown together. The Italian sub was sloppy and just a wet mess although I asked for no vinegar. Always been a fan of Jersey Mike's. I'm from back East where delis are king and a quality sandwich is easy to come by. Out here in the desert, not so much. Jersey Mike's makes it like we do back East. This particular shop is a cut above the standard shop though. The guys behind the counter are always courteous, quick and seem genuinely concerned about putting together a good product. They remember you when you go back, and it feels more like a neighborhood deli from back home. Great spot and it's become my go to for lunch. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. The manager Hutch started arguing with me because I wanted my sandwich a certain way. He told me "This isn't subway it's Jersey mikes" I never used inappropriate language yet he continued to argue with me even saying "I not trying to be a dick" while there were kids present. He even told me if I didn't like it to leave. He was being so rude and unprofessional I had to ask him repeatedly not to argue with me. It was so bad that another customer even came up from his table to tell Huck to stop arguing with me that I am a customer and he can't treat customers like this, Huck then tells that customer he can leave also. I asked for his boss' contact information which he refused to provide, he said I can go to the website- I told him I'm aware of that option and his reply was "Then why did you ask" I'm shocked he is the manager and thinks this is okay. I would give 0 stars if I could. Sad this was all because I wanted my order a certain way, he shouldn't work here if he doesn't like his job or dealing with customers!
