Our delicious food, completely ON POINT!

Wow, once again !!! Jianna did it again!, we walked in and there she was with her great smile and friendly greeting! Her attitude brightened our day! Jianna was so attentive to our order and she had no problem paying attention to detail with one of my favorite orders here , Jalapeño's turkey Crunch and perfect fresh garden salad!! So so delicious! And again, the cleanliness and welcoming dining area makes this place a MUST stay and eat place and not to discount the cool music. Outstanding job Jianna and McAllister's! I'm a forever customer and fan.

Food was ok but I was not that impressed. Customer service is friendly and fast on a busy weekend brunch time. The ambiance of the place was good and the place gets busy during brunch times

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and there were a not a lot of patrons in the restaurant. I ordered a spud and was very disappointed. I haven't been here in years, and this was my first time since moving back to the valley. My baked potato was not cooked all the way, and there was an ick spot on both ends, so I had to cut a good portion of the potato off before I could actually eat it. I have a dairy allergy so I was not able to use sour cream or cheese, I asked for extra butter, and the butter was very oily and disgusting. My family was also with me and got their orders wrong. My niece's kids mac & cheese was at room temperature, borderline cold, and they also brought my sister the wrong nachos. When she told the guy that it was wrong, he said, can I just bring you a dessert? The reason why she ordered a particular plate was because of my allergies, and he didn't even do anything about it. We were very disappointed with this visit.

I've only been to MacAllister three or four times mostly because it's kind of far from me. But where I live I'm pretty sure delis are banned. I cannot understand why There are no delis in the West Phoenix valley. I know I know everyone will tell you, Goodcents firehouse mr pickles (gross) Jersey Mike's, blah blah blah... those are not delis. those are sub shops. for those that don't know delis are like a mini market that have amazing sandwiches on any kind of bread you want. not just a hoagie roll. And many many meat options that are fresh sliced, from a deli case, and dozens of toppings to choose from. Anyway, McAllister's is the closest thing to a real deli that I have found in West Valley so far. That said of the other two or three options that are so-called delis McAllister's is the best for two reasons, one price and two variety. My sandwich soda and side cost $15. not bad. The so-called deli across the street would have cost me over 30. In fact the last time I was there it was 35 for a sandwich side and a drink but that's another story. This time around I got the beef and cheddar with horseradish sauce. Really good. I was not even hungry for that when I came in there, but I saw it on the menu and had to have it. I will say the cucumber salad was a little disappointing. they should just call that tomato salad. And their sweet tea was good as well. Service is really good and the place is clean. If it were closer to me I'd probably go there once a week at least.

New Yorker sandwich and Tomato & Cucumber Salad.

Stopped in to try the New Yorker and it did not disappoint. Huge portions and excellent flavor. Had the Tomato and cucumber salad as my side and it was great as well. Staff was friendly and helpful, checked to see if I wanted a refill on my drink and if there was anything else needed. Will definitely return

Food was really good However, the staff were miserably unfriendly! Even after a tip. Sad. I hope they have a better day.

Next time we may decide to share a sandwich bc they were decent sized. After we ate we did some shopping, found a few things that our supermarket didn't carry. We'll be back to try some of the other sandwiches. It was worth the 20 minute drive for us.

Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The deli offers an impressive variety of hot foods. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, and there are plenty of pasta dishes and traditional Italian entrées available as well. We didn't order a hot meal on this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try one. The market section is also worth browsing. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.

And then you are going to spend a good long time at the sandwich board menu because there are options like none other. The Lost Menu, where there are so many unique items, you are going to be standing there a lil' lost and not knowing what to do, and the regular-ish menu. I stayed mostly there but smoked beef taco? Yes, please. I ordered that and also a carne asada and a birria. I felt a big piggish, but I had to. Then again, I'm glad I did because while they were packed ingredients, they were on the small side. What other restaurant gives you the option of flour, corn or homemade corn tortillas? Did I have any other choice but to order the latter? Unfortunately, one fell apart, it was so stuffed with goodness, but I won't hold that against them. The meats were all unique and delicious. I was the most confused by the smoked beef. It reminded me of some meat I had in Italy that was black but not charred and melted when I bit into it. I don't need to experience that again, but I could eat the other traditionally tender and flavorful versions daily. The three-taco combo comes two sides. I almost ordered fries but when I shifted to beans and rice, out of fairness to tradition, I got a nod of approval. But, I have a feeling I would have gotten one no matter what I did, because of patience and kindness of these Lost Burro folks. The rice was middling but those beans - didn't taste as though they'd ever seen the inside of a can. Thick, rich and flavorful. I ordered a side of consume, just because it was bone broth, and I hadn't seen that before. It was tasty, but I realized more prefer a red broth with big chunks of stewed beef. I will judge you unkindly if you give me a Jamaica that is just one step up from Koolaid. Nah, these folks had me wash it all down with icy cold tea goodness, with a star anise waiting for me at the bottom of my cup. I wish I did not live an hour away. It's not fair.

Just tried this place for dinner. Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up…read more We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner, after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.
