Just had to show some love to this spot because WOW. If sandwiches were a sport, this place would have a championship banner hanging up. Stopped by Frank's New York Style Deli on St. Patrick's Day for a corned beef and a Reuben, and let me tell you... these sandwiches didn't come to play. They came to win. Everything is made fresh, the cheese is perfectly melty, and the meat is so tender it practically melts the moment you look at it. You can taste the love in every bite. And the best part? It's truly family-owned. Mom is still back there making the sandwiches like the sandwich queen she is, while the son runs the front like a pro. The customer service is top-tier--warm, welcoming, and full of genuine love. Honestly, if you leave here hungry, that's a personal problem. If you leave without smiling, also a personal problem. 10/10 would absolutely come back to let this Reuben change my life again.

The Ruben was really good here. They did not spare the meat, or sourkrout. The sauce was yummy too! I loved the old school deli ambience, the service was quick and efficient, there were tables to sit at, but we took it to go. I was too their most popular sandwiches were the Tony and New Yorker which I will try next

We got the pastrami sandwich, an Italian sandwich and a turkey as well. All of them were super good! Fresh bread 12" long, so it was good for two meals! The pickle was also so good. The deli is a family run establishment, which I love. The boys were running the orders to the Mom whom was making sandwiches like a machine! There was a great sense of community as I heard them chat with all the regulars. The son showed me all the photos of them growing g up in the deli. The ambiance of the deli was straight out of a movie. A life well lived in a community hub of breaking bread and discussing small blessing of a day. It warmed my heart to enjoy a good sandwich is a place with heart.

Voted in Yelp's Best Sandwiches in every state and I can definitely see why! Great prices, amazing portion sizes, and hands down the best tuna sub I've EVER had. A crime this is 41 miles from my house! The parking is a little limited, but I was able to get a spot at 5pm on a Wednesday (hour before closing). When I entered, I was immediately greeted and surprised it was both a convenient store and a deli. Not what I was expecting, but loved as I could get a can of Cherry Coke to go with my meal (my fav)! Both the person who took my order and the person who made my sub were very friendly. They even threw in a cannoli which was DELICIOUS! Though the location is small, it was quaint and I could see either dining in at one of the tables or taking to go like I did this visit. I'll definitely be back as it's been five days since and I'm still drooling over that sub sandwich!

Was blessed with this for lunch by our team lead after volunteering. It's been on my list for a hot minute but time just never has me in the area Was able to help go pick up all the stuff and really get the full experience of this literal corner deli slinging out some of the best sandwiches this side of the Atlantic (so anywhere) I believe I had a section for the Tony sub and that capicola on there had a good spice to it along with the pepperoni and salami to really take the entire sandwich to the next level. Plus that hella sour pickle balanced it all out if you enjoy a good sour punch. Owners are amazing the space is amazing as you can also buy a crispy boy and enjoy it there if you so desire. Don't do what I did for so long make time to be here you will be glad you did

Found this place in the middle of the day decided to pop in and I'm glad I did. Inside is a great classic deli feel. I went with the tony which was phenomenal. They're not shy what their portions and the sandwich itself was loaded up pretty well. The staff is extremely friendly and overall great people. Spoke to Gus, who is the owner's son and has worked there for 40 years which is really cool

I can't get past the Reuben to try something differ. Seriously , I don't think it can be improved on. The food all looks delicious as it walks past. Maybe some day I'll dare try something new. The people are so nice and efficient. Still loving Frank's.

A true treasure. First time to this little hole in the wall eatery was amazing. We returned a couple of weeks later (This week). When we stepped up to the counter to place our order, I asked my wife what it was that I had ordered the first time. Before she could answer, the owner (Son) told me it was the Reuben. He was exactly right. Color me impressed. I always try something different when we return to a restaurant. I went with the Turkey Club this time. Outstanding. As always, the portions are enough that I take the second half of the sandwich home. The price point is spot on. The sandwiches are made to order. Nothing premade and waiting around for someone to buy them. Franks is now on our list of FAVES. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the neighborhood seems not to mind if you park in front of their homes on the street.

The N.Y. Style Sub was amazing!! The bread is fresh and the slices are so thin. I will be back!

Talk about an amazing sandwich shop. We were not disappointed by this place. Parking can be a challenge, but we got up front. The staff are several generations working this place and they know what they are doing. The guys were so kind and I could see how the regulars that come in know what they want and love coming there. We were able to find a table to eat and it was nice to grab a pack of chips and soda from all the choices there. They prefer cash but will take a card. I would have no problem with taking a service fee to use my card with how good this food is. It's been around awhile but it's no nonsense and the food makes this place amazing!

Wow! The pickle alone got my attention. Never had anything close to it. This place seems to be in the middle if nowhere, but it's quite a standout. First let me tell you, parking is limited. Once you do park and come inside you feel like you've stepped back in time a few years to a Mom & Pop deli/convenience store. The folks working here are the friendliest people. And soon learn it's truly a Mom and Pop shop with Mom and son behind the counter, taking orders and making everyone's meal. We order The Tony and NY Style, shop the coolers for something to drink, bring it back to the register when they tell us our sandwich is ready, and pay. Slide into one of the booths and commence to eating. Well we made a small dent. The sandwiches, not necessarily huge, but filled with so much meat I knew it would be impossible for me to eat in one setting. My friend went back to the counter to ask for more of their Italian dressing. That stuff certainly kicks it up a few notches. Loved that we settled in coming here and I've bookmarked the business so we can visit again if we're in the area. And the Pickles. Whew! They are unique.

Small family run place. The bread was soft and fresh and there was a great amount of meat. The macaroni salad was good and there is a huge selection of drinks available. Service was great and friendly.

Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The deli offers an impressive variety of hot foods. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, and there are plenty of pasta dishes and traditional Italian entrées available as well. We didn't order a hot meal on this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try one. The market section is also worth browsing. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.

Total was like $22 something, gave the guy $25. Took maybe 5 minutes to get ready. I took it out to my car to dig in. How was it? Ok. New Yorker- This sandwich had corned beef and pastrami, cole slaw, Swiss, and Russian dressing on some rye bread. Pretty big sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef were tasty, albeit a tad fattier then I prefer. The cole slaw was pretty mayo heavy and goopy, I honestly scraped most of it off. Rye bread was soft, but nothing "great". I'm spoiled by Langer's and I need to tell myself that I will never find anything as good as that sandwich. Oh well......I tried. Sandwich was a 7/10 IMO. The sandwich came with some cottage fries which were ok, a side of pickles that weren't really pickled (tasted like a straight up cucumber) and some cole slaw which I did not try. Service was very friendly, the cashier was Scott himself, I think. The guy who brought out my food was friendly as can be, too. Would I come back? Yes. Would I drive down here specifically from Surprise for a sandwich? Maybe.
