I've been here a few times for breakfast and for lunch. Both times have been very pleasant. Today I had the "Scott's Perfect Rueben-Rueben" with pastrami on an onion roll. It comes with fries and a pickle. It was all very good. In fact, this place is now my favorite pastrami place in the valley, surpassing the Miracle Mile "Straw", which is also excellent. The service is always very good and it's never really been very busy any time I've been here. This place is in a strip mall, but it has a very nice diner vibe to it.

This is a nice small spot that sells omelettes, skillets, corned beef hash, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, and more. I tried out their veggies skillet, chicken noodle soup, and cheesecake brownie. The worst part of the skillet was its main ingredient: the potato. I asked for no onions several times and I still found onions in there. The chicken soup was actually good but it had a random piece of bone in it. The cheesecake brownie sounded great on paper but the item itself was simultaneously worse than most cheesecake and most brownies I've ever eaten. I also tried a knish and it didn't sit well with my stomach unfortunately. Overall, a slightly below average experience here.

This, one of many times, I ordered a Kasha Knish. What I got was Potato Knish, I think. Please review the accompanying pictures. The lighter one is from Scott's. The other was not. I did get to sample the meat Knish. That has pastrami and potato inside. As any good pastrami-related substance, it was in dire need of mustard, which, for all time and forever, you add yourself. The taste was terrific. All the Kinishes had a thin baked crust. They were delicious as they were. I did not complain to the waitstaff, so I have no excuse, but please be forearmed; you have been forewarned.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to flagstaff. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere. Our waiter came over right away and took our drink order. We found several things that interested us. We finally settled on our orders (pics provided) and our food was really good. The bagel with the homemade lox cream cheese was fire . Literally the best dish IMO. But everyone loved their food. The only thing I have to say is the home fries were just ok. Needed something but some salt and cholula fixed them right on up. There restaurant was cozy and there is outside eating as well.

Stopped in for the first time and ordered the Scott's Perfect Rueben-Rueben to go. This is a great deli! Nice large clean Restaurant and great options in the Deli. The rueben was perfect and huge with more than enough fries. Looking forward to getting back and enjoying something different off the menu.

We've known Zeus since his skateboard years. Proud, caring Dad.

You want authentic New York Kosher Deli, with all the deli delights? This is the place. Our server friend Zeus, we've known him 12+ years works here. We stop by now and again for breakfast. Portions are generous, coffee good, display case contents tempting. Service by Zeus, friendly, inviting setting. All Scott's Generations proudly depicted on the East wall.

The sweet potato fries were really good, but I wish they had various dipping sauces like they have at Hopdoddy Burger Bar. Like, horseradish sauce or honey mustard or whatever. The man who waited on me gave me ranch, which is better than ketchup but not as good as dipping sauces made for sweet potato fries. The burger was just ok. The cheese had a rubbery stringy consistency and felt like super processed cheese, and the burger wasn't pink in the middle, like the posters on display claim (which is why their burgers are better, supposedly). Maybe it would have been better if not overcooked? The food does seem fresh though and the soda was so good (got the ginger beer). I don't usually have sugary drinks but I couldn't resist.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Cheba Hut is a cannabis-themed sub shop eatery, and parking ended up being manageable. The place was very busy when I arrived, so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was clearly juggling a lot but stayed friendly and personable. The place was super clean, and I immediately loved the laid-back neighborhood vibe near Roosevelt Row. I ordered the French dip sub along with a munchie- pretzel nugs. Cheba offers three sandwich sizes (Nug, Pinner, and Blunt), which makes ordering easy depending on your appetite. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the pretzel mugs were especially good, soft and salty, Parking here is a little more limited than some other locations, but overall I really enjoyed my first visit and was happy to learn there are multiple Cheba Hut locations around town. You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).
