Don't order online, they clearly need supervision. My sandwich was missing half of the toppings I requested. It's a shame how grown people need to be monitored while preparing a sandwich. OK this is my second post. I figured I'd give Jersey Mike's a second try. Where do I begin? First of all it doesn't look too sanitary behind the counter. The letters which is a new stack in the bowl was yellow yellow not green I ordered a number five they call the bomb. It sure is a bomb because it taste like one. The bread I say about 4 1/2 inches I told the guy don't cut it because it's small enough as it is. I understand the inflation and all but if you're gonna charge more you should leave the product at least the same size. I stopped going to Blimpie for the same reason folks just find a good old Italian deli and get a sandwich from there you'll spend more but you'll enjoy the sandwich. I recently went to Jersey Mike's in Bayonne to try one of their subs. I went with the Club Supreme, since it sounded delicious reading what was in the sandwich on the menu. The sandwich contained roast beef, turkey, bacon, mayo, and of course I ordered it Mike's Way with all the toppings. This sandwich was so good. A very generous amount of meat they provided, and everything was fresh. I would recommend everyone come here to try this place. My experience at Jersey Mike's today at 8:30 pm left much to be desired, largely due to the appalling behavior of the manager on duty. We ordered a turkey club sub the mikes way, the staff member who made the sandwich neglected to properly wrap the sandwich and as a result when I opened the bag in my car the entire sandwich was disassembled. I went back in the store to try to get my order fixed and the Manager very rudely told me that I would have to wait for the entire line of people (about 7 people) to get their sandwiches before he could re-make mine DESPITE the fact that the staff member was at fault. when the manager spoke to me, he was very rude and had a condescending tone. I decided to just get my money back beings that I was in a bit of a rush to hurry home and didn't have the time to wait for seven sandwiches to be made before simply fixing mine. Terrible group of associates working at this location. Absolutely no understanding of customer service. I placed an online order which was Inadvertently incorrect. I tried to explain that I have a food allergy and requested gluten free bread. Both employees that where on duty on 12/5 at 8:15pm told me it my fault and there is nothing they can do. I asked for the contact info of the franchise owner and the assistant manager refused my request. They told me I can speak to the General manager tomorrow!? The Assistant manager couldn't even provide me the GM's full name. They could only tell me his name is Steve. If this was my franchise I would be every concerned that my employees don't know who the manager is. Only my 2nd time visiting a Jersey Mike's Sub and I must admit I love the sandwiches here the rosemary bread is amazing. I love how everything is fresh and the store was very clean and so was the prep area. Why 3 stars then you ask? Well I think their in need of a better system as far as someone specifically for cahier or alternate between workers ie; worker 1 and 2 preps then wraps then hands to cashier or worker 1 preps worker 2 adds toppings and wraps then hands to cashier. The worker who made my sandwich made a guys sandwich before mine and wrapped n bagged it but the guy before me had to wait till mine was finished and wrapped before he could pay. Now, here is my review for this SPECIFIC Jersey Mikes. I love Jersey Mike's I have nothing against their food I think the food is really delicious however, this specific building need some serious staff training. Keep in mind I've been to MANY Jersey Mike's in different states and I always get the same thing, club sub (which is usually cold) and I always ask for it hot. Every single facility has no problem slapping a couple pieces of ham and cheese on the grill for literally 30 sec or less. Today, after a long stressful day I decided to get my usual meal and they told that they can't do it. I asked, "why what's the problem?" and their responds was, "they don't want us to put that meal on the grill only Philly Cheese". OK, I honestly don't understand what the problem is, but I asked them what's the difference from putting roast beef on the grill and putting ham on the grill. They're responds was, "we just can't do that". At that point, I honestly gave up and accepted my club sub as it and left with pure frustration. First Jersey Mike's in my life that I have been denied for a simple request. Which in fact has been done in many Jersey Mike's chains. I walked in, ordered a hero it's pickle, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper on a hero bread. Everything was fresh, crispy, and delicious. 100% I'll come back. I came here for lunch one day for my lunch break and ordered a hot chicken parm sub the regular size. I paid for my food with the ticket they gave me and waited for my sub at a table. After 20 minutes of waiting for my food one of the crew members FINALLY asked me if I was waiting for anything. I said I was waiting for my chicken parm sub and the girl told me that she never got the order. After 1 minute they told me that the other employee forgot to wrap my sub and it was sitting there the whole time. How can all of those employees not see a chicken parm sub sitting there on the grill station? The girl apologized but it was not even a sincere apology. They did not offer me a refund, discount or any free items. This was a big disappointment when all the employees stand there drinking their drinks, talking, and being on their cell phones. This Jersey Mike's Subs is the worse by far and all the employees need to be retrained with better customer service and maybe get their eyes checked because they didn't see a sub sitting on their grill station counter. read more

I don't understand. Ordered a sandwich online. Picked up sandwich, opened it at home and I see that it is not a sandwich - it is all the insides of the sandwich. Checked my order again to make sure I didn't select anything wrong. Nope - I ordered a sandwich on white BREAD but for some reason I got a salad? After a Walmart run, I was super hungry to have a Jersey Mike's cheese steak. This was my first time ever trying this place and I was beyond horrified. On the car ride home, I started eating my sandwich, I live in Staten Island so I was driving over the bridge and I noticed some pieces of the sandwich were really chewy. I had to park on the side of the road once I got to SI. I opened the sandwich and I ended up throwing up on the side of the road. I still feel sick because WHO couldn't notice that the food wasn't cooked at all in some parts of the cheesesteak. I called the number and ended up getting my money back via credit card. It is going to take a few business days, we'll see if I actually get it back. The gentleman who I spoke to was understanding and gave me a refund ASAP. I never had an experience like this before. The low ratings within a year of opening says a lot. The ingredients are typical of any JM's, so we don't have to address that. We do need to bring up their poor customer service, which ultimately translates to poor quality food prep. The kids usually have no attention to what their doing, nor do they acknowledge their customers standing directly in front of them. Food prep takes significantly longer than required for a simple processed sandwiches and they will often keep you waiting. Sandwiches are also inconsistent in amount of meats, toppings, and even size do to their complacency. We visited once during opening week, again a few months after, and a third time again just to make sure we're being fair. The 3rd visit was our final for good. read more

The friendliness is barely there and the subs looked horrible and only had 1/2 pieces of Turkey etc on each sandwich. They were falling apart, and looked a mess! So I've been craving a sub, literally dreaming about one. I was in Bayonne and decided to try Jersey Mike's for the first time. I looked at the website and it said a regular could feed two people. Great! Leftovers! I got a #8 which is turkey, ham, provolone and bacon. Ummmm, yeah...ummm... Nope. When the counter girl cut my bread open to start to make my sandwich, I was like " that's a regular?" It's a long roll, not a hero roll that could feed two people. I'm from Brooklyn and the delis there sell real sized heroes so I was a bit perplexed by the size. Moving along, I saw the girl give me three slices of turkey, maybe three slices of ham, a little bit of bacon and some cheese that I never actually tasted in my sandwich. The toppings are pretty limited: tomatoes, lettuce, onions, peppers and peppers. Sigh, no black olives or cucumbers. The price was about $9.65 (don't remember the exact amount but over $9). This did not include a drink or chips. The bread was soft and it was a decent sandwich however the price is utterly ridiculous for the size. I can go to Chelsea and get a bigger hero with additional toppings for the same price with a bag of chips. I'll pass on eating here again. read more

Ok, I went there all excited and happy because I had heard a lot about Jersey Mike's (in South Jersey) "Great" sandwiches. If you think it's too good to be true, it is about this Bayonne location. They are "Way Overpriced" for a few skimpy slices of meat.\ and cheese (you cant even taste the cheese) If you hold a slice of meat or cheese up to the light, you can see thru it. $48.00 for 1 large and 4 regular sandwiches. Mike's King/Large is really a foot long everywhere else (Subway,Blimpie), Regular = 1/2 Large, Mini = 1/4 of a Large or 1/2 of a regular: Now any other Earthling would think the Mini should be 1/4 the price of a Large and you would be sadly mistaken. If you buy 4 minis, it will cost MORE than a King/Large ??? Go Figure. Ok I was fooled once, they wont get my business twice. The bread was soft and mushy, versus a REAL Sub in North Jersey where the bread (i.e Vinnie's Danforth Ave), is crispy on outside and moist in inside. Today I had a TERRIBLE experience at this place. I wanted to try it because I received a coupon in the mail and very close to my office. For starters, the woman taking my order ***appeared to have***SEVERE PINK EYE, (see screen-shot) I ordered 2 hot subs- which apparently was a huge mistake since all the cold sub orders fly through checkout. Then, MY ORDER WAS GIVEN TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER so they remade it. In total this ordeal took AN HOUR AND A HALF out of my day- which is completely baffling to me. No refund was offered.
