A great sandwich chain. Super fresh, definitely better than Subway if u ask me. Please ignore the negative remarks about customer service at this location as it's just not true. Every employee we encountered was friendly and patient. The young man who sliced the meats explained the different kind of meats I was unfamiliar with and made my sandwich just right. Just Covid contraction waiting to happen. Counter was terribly dirty. The young man was placing receipt paper on TOP of the sandwiches. We all know receipt paper is packed away on dirty boxes and/or shelves. I'm ordering and then he asked the man behind me what he would like. So he made my sandwich, the made the gentleman's sandwich and I had to wait to order my second sandwich. He seemed very annoyed but he didn't ask me if I would like anything else. It was just myself and the gentleman behind me, no long line. Why not finish w me and then tend to the other person. Such an unpleasant experience. Well first for all Jersey Mikes is a great place. I USED TO GO THE SUBWAYS. Subways and Blimpies have everything laid out infront of you all day. Jersey Mikes cut the meats infront of you all time. There fresh and full of meat. And that's why you pay for what you get Fresh Sandwich all the time. Second, if there's any problem with your order speak to them so they can fix your order. Give them a chance they are human and make mistakes. They aim to make there customers happy and fix any problems. Just like deli's or any other places can make your sandwiches makes mistakes too. My first time at any of these Jersey Mike locations.... the food and the staff were both amazing! We kept it simple and got a chicken parm and the jersey mike famous philly... both were delicious! the chicken on the chicken parm was so juicy, I was mega impressed. I did however, remove one star because the beverage machine (one of the new high tech touch screen models) was literally out of almost every single beverage I tried to get... and the tables were a little on the dirtier side. This location's bathroom has been temp out of order for over a month. Considering subs are ate with your hands, it is concerning that there is no where to wash up. People who work here are very friendly and I like the subs but not having a working bathroom for customers is keeping me away. read more

Love. Love. Love this new Bayonne sandwich shop. I've had other competition sandwiches and they can't stand up against this Jersey Mikes. The sandwiches were fresh and made professionally by experienced and courteous staff. I didn't know how to order due to my first time here and to Jersey Mikes but the staff was patient and with me and my daughter by showing how to order. The regular size is bigger than any other shop's and is too big to eat in one sitting! Delicious! And moist with oregano and oil dressings. The staff were quick and efficient while handling the lunch time rush. One patron ordering ahead of us was like "I'm not going back to my once long time favorite shop cause Jersey Mike got me now for life." I agreed. I even returned the next weekend for another go with my favorite the Club Sub. My daughter had the Original Italian. Delicious! And larger than you expect for a regular size. I cant imagine what the large size would be. I'm suppose to be on a no bread diet bit I can't help myself. They are really good! read more

I've been back at this location almost every day since they opened! Crazy I know, but to us sub 'freaks, it's new and exciting to have a new option for sandwiches in Bayonne. Customer service upon entry has been fabulous, EVERYTIME! I've ordered both hot and cold subs and each time and they've been excellent and made to order exactly the way I asked. The only issue I've had, and more than once, is that the girl at the register doesn't know how to make change. Even with the register telling her what to give back, she's given me too much money! Thankfully I'm honest and each time that I've pointed it out, it's been corrected. Wouldn't want anyone to lose their job by making honest mistakes! Are they a little expensive? after moving to nj from pa i struggled to find a decent hoagie. i ate jersey mike subs a lot in pa and im happy to say i found another great location! fast, friendly and fresh. love it! way better than subway and meat sliced fresh in front of you great sub/hoagie option (as we from the philly area call it). read more

I came out in the pouring rain hoping for a delicious sub that was worth the travel and that's exactly what I received! The sandwich was so fresh and they were generous with the meat and toppings unlike subway. There were three workers there and despite the long line, everything was made within a decent time and they were very friendly. We tried your turkey sandwich and we ordered with mayo - salt - pepper - onions - etc. and it was tasteless. What we asked for we didn't get put on. There was onions - cheese - lettuce - and oil - vinegar - too much oil and vinegar. No mayo at all. Not impressed with my first experience with Jersey Mikes. read more
