Stopped in after not having Jersey Mike's in a while and ordered the Giant #13, Mike's Way. The two employees working were clearly hustling -- the store was slammed with DoorDash and pickup orders on top of the in-store line. They did their best to keep things moving, but my sandwich ended up a bit sloppy, and the toppings outweighed the meat more than I remember from past visits. I totally understand they were juggling a lot, so I'm hoping it was just a busy-day situation. read more

I have ordered subs here many times in the past. Today I went into the store to buy a sub and I noticed that the floor behind the counter was filthy! There were what looked like food particles and plastic gloves all over the floor. They can't sweep it? I can only imagine what the back room looks like. Let me first say the food was excellent, that being said, I was still a bit disappointed. The price of the sandwich far exceeds the size of sandwich you receive. The size is equivalent to that of a sandwich from Quick Chek, which is less than half the price, and just as good in my opinion. I also asked for oil and vinegar as well as mayo on the side but did not receive either. I can not justify buying a sub here again. read more

I went to the Jersey Mikes in Bayville last Tuesday, early in the afternoon. I decided to get a couple of sandwiches before I went on the road. Big Mistake. There were two males and a female working there. I did not know at the time what was so important that the one male just had to whisper so quietly to the other male at the time, but after that the second male was very intent and persistent to pull me away from watching what was going on. Although now I have an idea. I was very clear with the first male, no oil and no vinegar on the sandwiches. Yet while on the road the one sandwich was soaked and dripping with oil and vinegar through not only the wrapper but TWO bags with the stated unwanted ingredients. I was very clear about this request so obviously this was intentional (I just do not know why) as I could also tell by the look on the pushy second male who pulled me away. But that one did make sure that I noticed the tip jar. The cheese steak was made by the female. One bite from that sandwich caused a very serious choking incident. Fortunately I did not die (but it was close) but my throat is still hurting from this hazardous episode. I am fully aware that she put some things in that cheese steak that should not have been in there, (although I do not know all of them) and some of them caused this deadly serious choking episode. What I also realized at the end of the order is that they made the sandwiches with their bare (what I assume is) dirty filthy hands, no gloves. I had to throw both subs, over $32.00 into the garbage. These three need to be fired immediately. They are directly responsible and all of this was definitely no accident. But I now have to assume that all of Bayville Jersey Mikes sandwiches are bad and they should close this store. After all of these years I am no longer a customer of Jersey Mikes. Bad service, bad food, there is no reason for anybody to go here unless there is an urge to be severely disappointed. read more

Stopped in for their signature Italian sub. The service was great. I only wish the sandwich was. The slices of meat are paper thin now. The taste was decent, however the lettuce, tomato and onion overwhelmed the sandwich. Not worth the price. You could buy 2 Wawa subs for the price of the giant Mikes one. They used to be better. Famous "Jersey Mike's Sub" is a basic submarine sandwich (sub) and is a whole lot better than Subway. They sliced the meats in front of you and the brands are made for Jersey Mike's and packaged as are Jersey Mike's. The prices are similar to Subway but with a real freshness. read more

This is my favorite sub shop in town I love their fresh-made roast beef with their fresh-made parmesan rolls now I skip the lettuce cuz it makes most Subs wet so I do chopped-up onions with overlapping tomatoes a little oil and vinegar and some sweet peppers sweet frying peppers from the back they'll understand -now have them wrap it in half so that way with two people you can each choose to eat your whole half or a quarter of each and have some later don't forget some Doritos which just adds to the sweet and crunchy! I choose to have an orange soda root beer those are the best icing for a sub they compliments with taste. Hope you love it as much as I do but man I really do don't forget salt pepper spices because roast beef is cooked not industrial made with all the preservatives hope you love it and enjoy remember if you like a little extra vinegar to put on the side but you can never take it off again read more
