Don't ask them to cut your sandwich in half, to make it easier to pick up and est, they don't do that. They will hand you a little plastic knife and tell you to do that yourself. Customers service fail!! That sandwich is a hot mess!! Won't be back.

Full price and she refused to swap out 2 meat for other 2. Sad.

We've been here a few times now and I'm really liking their #43 - Chipotle Cheese Steak. Not too spicy and really flavorful. This particular one is a Hot Sub--which somehow reminds me of a Runza sandwich (don't ask me why). This place doesn't have a drive-thru and can get crowded sometimes during lunch.

Just your average sub place. I would probably choose this place over subway BUT it was not very strategic of the owners to not offer a drive thru because Subway which is just a couple blocks up the street offers a drive thru... and I would so much rather pull up and get my sandwich than walk in... Also, the system to which a sandwich is order is chaotic. They probably needed two bays for this operation... as it was cramped -- and it seemed that the workers got very confused with the ordering process... and I think this was largely due to the small working area. The cashier messed up -- basically everyone's in lines order and had to keep apologizing and refunding cards etc... it was a mess. But the owner was very professional -- after the first refund to my card in an overcharge... and then she undercharged our card... the owner just let the undercharge go... which was adequate considering the time I was there dealing with all the mess with the cashier. It is really difficult to really rate the food... it is difficult to really make a terrible sub sandwich... they do overload the meat... which is cool if you LOVE meat. I do like the Mike dressing of the salad... which is lettuce, vinegar etc. The meat was of better quality than Subway. I really don't think it had a "Jersey" feel... and I've spent time eating at several Jersey sub restaurants... but that's a franchise for you... I wasn't really expecting it to... Really wish it was a drive thru... Hopefully they can expand to the bay next to theirs with a drive thru-- I think it will be a better return on their investment. Yes, it will cost more for their overhead but they will get more customers coming thru! All the folks that work or go to school close by (Bellevue university, high schools etc)... would probably love to have another drive-thru place... and healthy choice. So for that reason... I will stick to Subway.... but once in the blue moon when I am not hauling around kids-- I'll drop in for a sub. Lastly -- I really hope that they can streamline and shorten the lag time from when an order is placed until the time the order is in my hand. I was in the establishment for over 20-25 minutes... for a sub (took about 7 minutes to get to the ordering area... then about 5 minutes to complete my order. Around 5 minutes to get to the cashier... and 5-10 minutes for the cashier to mess around with refunding and charging my order

Ham and provolone, not bad at all

I know, I know Jersey Mike's has been around a while and I am just now trying them for the first time. Took my family in before going to the Omaha outdoor art fair. In my opinion, the restaurant was clean and the servers friendly. I ordered a sub as did the rest of my family. I had a ham and provolone regular. Overall, OK. Nothing unique or different but did like they are on the TAGG program which was why I decided to try them. Girls liked their meals and so did my wife. The food was good but would have liked more options for vegetables. I thought they were a little pricey as compared to their competitors. Otherwise OK. They put too much oil on the sandwich was my only concern. I will be back and thanks for offering Tagg.

I didn't have high hopes that mine would come out looking as beautiful as what the website showed though. I placed my order online and walked about 10 mins to the restaurant from my hotel. When I got there I told them I placed the order and they confirmed it was being made and they would bring it out when ready. I grabbed a seat and within a few minutes it came out, piping hot. When I opened the box, it looked AMAZING! Smelled so very appetizing too! The strings of cheese pulling off it when I pulled a slice were abundant too! It tasted GREAT! I felt like it looked better than the website!! Service was decent. Their menu is large and loaded with so many tasty looking options. Plenty of seating inside too. Definitely would come back!

The experience at this one was a little lackluster compared to the othera in town. So, 4.5 stars here. The food is fantastic. Sandwich choices are great. I love the Taxi Driver - pastrami with jalapeños on sourdough. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. Parking is very tough at this location. We had to circle the block and park 2 blocks away. The food...the Taxi Driver was dry compared to what I had at their other locations. The bread usually has butter on it before being toasted, which gives the entire sandwich a total moistness, which this one was lacking. Overall, it's still the best sandwich chain in the area. Highly recommend.

I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky in not knowing about this spot when I lived in the Old Market…read more I stumbled upon a TikTok of a girl getting what looked to be the sandwich of my dreams, and I was surprised to find out it came from a little deli next to La Buvette, one of my favorite spots in the Old Market. My husband and I were downtown for lunch, and I knew I had to stop by. The menu is VERY limited; there are only two to three sandwiches everyday and a few soups. I decided to order the mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic sandwich and he tried the mortadella with dijon. My sandwich came cold and his was hot, but both were served on the most delicious focaccia bread with flaky sea salt. I was in heaven. There is very limited seating, but the shop as a whole was very cute. There are some specialty meats, cheeses, drinks, and other food goods available for purchase, too. Everyone working was very kind and helpful. This is a must visit if you are a sandwich lover!

THIS is where you come to buy the AMAZING sourdough bread that they serve there. I was at an art event once featured a prominent German photographer. During his gallery talk, he jubilantly exclaimed that he LOVES coming to Omaha, that the Buvette sourdough is THE BEST in the WORLD! I agree. And the really great thing is that they will make amazing sandwiches from it. There is a chalkboard menu listing their sandwiches each day. There are usually 3 different rotating choices. It is enough, I usually have trouble deciding which one to get even with that small menu. The flavors are amazing and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. I'm going to say that these might be the best sandwiches in the world. Most of the sandwiches are made on this AMAZING house-made focaccia bread. Literally the only thing that makes me sad here is that sometimes they run out of focaccia and ask if they can make it using baguette instead. Their baguettes are amazing as well but personally I don't like them as sandwich bread. So in that event I usually get the soup instead. Their soups are delicious so it's not that big of a problem, Seating is very limited, with a tiny table inside and a couple outside, so you will probably have to find somewhere else to sit and enjoy your lunch, There are deli items, pickles and olives, desserts, and some specialty grocery items available, Staff there are lovely as well and I always feel happy when I visit. Oh, and this - you know how I said these are probably the best sandwiches in the world? One might expect these would be a premium price. I am delighted to tell you that $7.98 will get you one of these amazing things. They are large and satisfying. It is an incredibly good value. I come here often!

We spoke with his daughter who now runs the store and she was so incredibly nice. Everything is made in-house and the love and care shows. We were just passing through but knew our next hotel had a bbq so we bought several varieties of sausage to try (fresh polish, smoked polish, garlic and fennel, german, hot dog plus some bacon, jerky and snack sticks). Our favorites? We loved both versions of the Polish sausage and the bacon....5 stars for those. 4.5 stars for the Italian fennel and garlic and 4-stars for the remaining items. If we lived here, we'd be regulars for sure. Apparently there is a huge festival that make all the sausage for. Its amazing that they hand make all those sausages for this festival. What a treat! If I am ever in town when that is happening, I am going! Sorry I don't recall the name of the festival. I had planned on taking pictures of the grilled sausages but I forgot until after I cut them up. The next day I cooked up the remaining sausage and completely forgot to take pics. The best (and most flavorful) way to experience this post is to go the the butcher shop, buy, grill and eat these sausages and bacon...:-).
