Close to my work and a bit more expensive for delivery but so convenient on those work day lunches when you don't have time/don't feel like going anywhere. Today I ordered the new Chicken Cesar wrap and it was on my desk in less than 15 minutes after hitting the submit on my keyboard. The new wrap was a nice change from a regular sandwich. I ordered with added onion and cucumber with no mayo and was pleased with that. Next time I might have them leave off the croutons, too, because the unexpected crunch every now and again was jarring. Delivery was fast (even with the snow) and i was thanked for my service however, I will add that my VEGGIE sandwich only had three very tiny tomatoes, even smaller cucumbers and maybe four slivers of onion. idk if this specific jimmy js was low on veggies or something but not only did it lack veggies they were also not very fresh. Our order for delivery got messed up today and I called the store to see what could be done, the female manager that works here was SO NICE and professional and fixed our order and had it sent back out. My roommates and I ordered from this Jimmy John's online and then called them for curbside pickup as it was advertised on their window. When we called them for curbside, they literally said no because their store was open. We then explained that we were not comfortable going inside because of a possible COVID exposure (which we should not have needed to tell them). When the worker came out with our food he gave us a "what do you even want me to do here" gesture that indicated he was very rude and annoyed with us. When we motioned for him to put it on the hood of the car, he literally threw it onto the car. I will NOT be returning to this Jimmy John's ever again if this is how they treat their customers. Jimmy John's is the Jimmy Bomb! Even during lunch rush, I have literally walked in, ordered, grabbed my sandwich and walked out in less than 3 minutes. If you're in a rush, this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. And the delivery is also incredibly fast, like in the days before pizza delivery chains started worrying about the safety of their drivers. My favorite sandwich is the Vito or as I call it the Italian Stallion. By the way, if you go to the counter and ask for an Italian Stallion, I will make NO guarantees about what you will get, how much it will cost, or if there will be chest hair and a track suit involved. read more

After a night of birthday festivities Jimmy Johns sounded good. I typically go for the tuna because it always hits the spot but this time I went with the #11 country club. Tasty fresh bread is where it's at. Everything seems super fresh and the flavors work well together. The jalapeño chips are good but could use a little more heat with the crunch. The sandwich is big and I left feeling full. They also have day old bread that they sell which is a great idea knowing they have fresh bread daily. I'll be back. This place gets three stars by default by being a Jimmy John's since I love JJ's and by most standards would give them a five. But this location loses stars for the fact that I've been here three times and my order has only been right two of those times. Case No. 1 - I ask for no mayo on the #6 and I get no mayo as well as no guac ... which means I'm left with a pretty dull sandwich. Case No. 2 - I ask for no mayo and lo and behold the bread is covered front to back in mayo. I'm not sure if I have to scream it next time or what, but I feel they should probably spend a little more time listening to my order than worrying about making me "freak" with how fast they are. read more

Jimmy John's sandwich shop was founded in 1983 by 19-year-old Jimmy John Liautaud in a converted garage in Charleston, Ill. So for a local place it is not. The guys here are awesome! I called ahead a platter today and when I arrived it was ready and waiting for me, and the sandwiches were perfect! I even requested extra napkins over the phone and they let me know they were in the bag for me before I mentioned it. Great experience! My first time here to cater a lunch and learn I was hosting. SLOWEST JIMMY JOHN'S IN OMAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! This location does not live up to the "Freaky Fast" reputation AT ALL!!!! Today I waited 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches. When I called (after 30 minutes of waiting) to see what the delay was I was told the driver had left just 10 minutes prior to my call, and had some other deliveries along the way. Again I ordered 2 sandwiches that apparently took 20 minutes to make and all I got was an "I'm really sorry ma'am" even after expressing that this is not the first time I have waited this long or longer. Well just an apology is not enough this time, this is why your driver did not receive a tip!!!! I do not like to not tip anybody but felt it was necessary this time. read more

How hard is it to mess up a Slim 4.....twice!? The delivery driver was incredibly unhappy to have to come back with the new sandwich and much to our dismay this one was also wrong. A Slim 4 has no mayo! We didn't want a new sandwich at this point...who knows what we would have gotten. But we called and asked for a refund, the manager was rude first then asked for our credit card secondly. Didn't feel comfortable with that either since the service and attitudes of this crew were awful. So no sandwich, no refund. Did I mention this has happened at least 3 other times from this location? Worse jimmy john's in omaha. Leaves cut meat out in open while slicing for 15 sometimes a half hour. Happens more often with turkey and cheese than anything else. Used to work there and have witnessed this multiple times. It's why i stopped eatting there cuz it will make you sick. They perve out on every lady who walks through the door that is attractive too. For me, JJ easily beats all the other chain sub restaurants in town by a landslide. Their bread is always fresh and their sandwich ingredients are, too, making for overall great subs. I usually opt for veggie subs, which at some places can be pretty lacking, but JJ does a great job with theirs, and I actually look forward to eating it. Another favorite is the JJBLT with added cheese and avocado. Of course, their house chips and chocolate cookies are awesome too and round out the meal. And of course, whether you're dining in, taking out, or getting delivery, they're always freaky fast. read more

The thing is, after searching for a decent delivery service around Midtown Crossing for a hour, Jimmy John's is a total surprise, the guy on the phone was patient and said it would take 30 mins, but the cute tall delivery boy showed up in 5 mins! worst customer service ever!!! will not be ordering from jimmy johns ever again and will urge friends, family and coworkers not to as well. it took almost 2 hours to get my "freaky fast" overpriced $12 sandwich, despite several phone calls. the delivery drivers, especially the cracked out looking tall thin female driver as well as their manager john are extremely rude, insulting, condescending and try to swindle you out of money or try to convince your coworkers or random people to sign your debit card slip even tho food is supposed to be free anyways. i was told on the phone today by their manager john that their motto is "the customer is sometimes right" and supported his delivery driver in her physically yelling insults to customers down a hallway in a hospital and insisting shes correct in things she doesnt know about without even checking to make sure. i ended up not even eating but a couple of bites of my food. i figure a food company who has such a polluted sense of how its okay to treat customers and talk to people would most likely have the same amount of pollution in the way they make their food and figure theyre the kind of people that reflect their business as one who would purposely contaminate your food in one way or another... never again. corporate will know about all of the details read more

He then proceeded to telling us that they were to busy at Jimmy John's to bring us back new subs, but gave us refunds. Jimmy John's has always been my go-to sandwich shop. The bread is amazing and is probably my favorite part of the sandwich. They also give fairly large meat portions on the sandwiches, making it worth the price. It was a little more expensive than I remember, but the prices were still more than reasonable.
