My roommates and I ordered from this Jimmy John's online and then called them for curbside pickup as it was advertised on their window. When we called them for curbside, they literally said no because their store was open. We then explained that we were not comfortable going inside because of a possible COVID exposure (which we should not have needed to tell them). When the worker came out with our food he gave us a "what do you even want me to do here" gesture that indicated he was very rude and annoyed with us. When we motioned for him to put it on the hood of the car, he literally threw it onto the car. I will NOT be returning to this Jimmy John's ever again if this is how they treat their customers. Jimmy John's is the Jimmy Bomb! Even during lunch rush, I have literally walked in, ordered, grabbed my sandwich and walked out in less than 3 minutes. If you're in a rush, this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. And the delivery is also incredibly fast, like in the days before pizza delivery chains started worrying about the safety of their drivers. After a night of birthday festivities Jimmy Johns sounded good. I typically go for the tuna because it always hits the spot but this time I went with the #11 country club. Tasty fresh bread is where it's at. Everything seems super fresh and the flavors work well together. The jalapeño chips are good but could use a little more heat with the crunch. The sandwich is big and I left feeling full. They also have day old bread that they sell which is a great idea knowing they have fresh bread daily. I'll be back. But this location loses stars for the fact that I've been here three times and my order has only been right two of those times. Case No. 1 - I ask for no mayo on the #6 and I get no mayo as well as no guac ... which means I'm left with a pretty dull sandwich. Case No. 2 - I ask for no mayo and lo and behold the bread is covered front to back in mayo. How hard is it to mess up a Slim 4.....twice!? The delivery driver was incredibly unhappy to have to come back with the new sandwich and much to our dismay this one was also wrong. A Slim 4 has no mayo! We didn't want a new sandwich at this point...who knows what we would have gotten. But we called and asked for a refund, the manager was rude first then asked for our credit card secondly. Didn't feel comfortable with that either since the service and attitudes of this crew were awful. So no sandwich, no refund. Did I mention this has happened at least 3 other times from this location? For me, JJ easily beats all the other chain sub restaurants in town by a landslide. Their bread is always fresh and their sandwich ingredients are, too, making for overall great subs. I usually opt for veggie subs, which at some places can be pretty lacking, but JJ does a great job with theirs, and I actually look forward to eating it. Another favorite is the JJBLT with added cheese and avocado. Of course, their house chips and chocolate cookies are awesome too and round out the meal.
