Well, not until today that is. It was just horrible! The "chicken breast" was rubbery and did not taste or chew like chicken. Even the breading was tasteless (and hard). And, how do you mess up fries? The way to make fries is to peel and cut a potato and drop it into pure peanut oil. How hard can that be?! This was undoubtedly pre-frozen, rolled in a slew of chemicals, and fried in cheap seed oil. Even the coleslaw lacked taste. I literally threw over half of my entree in the garbage, that's how bad it was. Even the cat wouldn't eat it. I will never buy from Popeyes again. Corporations keep finding new ways to replace food with not-food. What we're eating in today's world isn't even food anymore. Sadly, young people don't know the difference -- but we older folks remember what actual food looked and tasted like, and this isn't it! (post script: I would like to add that the problem has nothing to do with this location, which is clean and has great service and people. The quality of Popeye's food and ingredients depends on corporate decisions and their food sources).
