We have not had a bad experience at Jersey Mike's. I am from Philadelphia and was very strict on trying their cheesesteaks and they are the best. I prefer the cheese steak with sauteed mushrooms onions and peppers and I get it with extra cheese just like I do in Philly. So so good read more

My first visit to a Jersey Mike's and I thought it was really good so I am surprised to see such a low rating. I got the regular size chicken philly with onions and peppers. The roll was really fresh and the sandwich was very tasty. There was a good ratio of roll to meat, neither overpowered the other, something that I don't like about Sandwich Factory where I always feel like I got way too much bread or Subway where I always feel a little cheated on both. The owner was at the register and was very friendly, greeted me when I walked in even though he was clearly busy and I noticed he took the time to speak to each customer to at least say hello. read more

They have really done a good job on Covid policies. However, i'm forced to dock a star because not all the staff wear masks over their noses. However, there is big plexiglass between the employees and customers, distancing is enforced, all the employees are wearing gloves, and aside from the mask issue they are doing a good job with Covid precautions. I am so excited that we finally have a Jersey Mike's in the Youngstown area! I have visited this location twice already since their recent opening, and this is by far one of the best sandwich spots around. Jersey Mike's offers fresh, high quality food and outstanding customer service. The restaurant is clean, and it is a fun atmosphere for hanging out. Although this place always seems to be busy with a long line, the staff members work efficiently to keep it moving quickly. My favorite sub at Jersey Mike's is the Roast Beef and Provolone. I love that there is a wheat bread option, along with tons of other offerings for toppings, dressings, etc. so that you can order a sub that is customized to your own preferences. The ingredients are very fresh, and the meat and cheese is sliced right in front of you. You can truly tell that the quality of ingredients in these subs greatly exceeds that of other sub options in the area. I would 100% recommend Jersey Mike's! They offer a wide variety of options and have something for everyone. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Visited this sub shop today for the first time since it's opening and have to say that I am pretty disappointed. I ordered the turkey sub, "mikes way" and have to say it was pretty bland. The sub had very little taste with all the spices and toppings it has, also had a couple overly salty spots that I could barely swallow. The restaurant itself was quite dirty, the floors had trash, tables had crumbs and such from previous customers, and drink station was a mess. They were not to busy when I went in so I'm not sure why nothing was being cleaned. Overall save your money, go to another sub shop and get better food for your money. It seemed to be very hectic and there was a tall blonde woman who was basically badgering her employees to the point I was almost embarrassed for them. She was like a sandwich nazi. Brought my sandwich home and neither mine or my boyfriends sandwich had anything really special about it/ they were bland and just basic ..don't waste your time on jersey mikes- go to jimmy johns, sandwich factory, or if you really want something good kravitz deli. read more

So this is a new sandwich shop I was trying out and decided to keep it simple. I ordered a simple #8 club sandwich. Now I think everyone is familiar that a club sandwich has bacon on it. Well when I get my sandwich back to work and find out there is not one single piece of bacon on my sandwich I was pretty disappointed that this place could mess up something so simple. I had never eaten at Jersey Mike's before, but was excited to try something new, especially when I received a coupon for a free sub in the mail. Unfortunately, I let the coupon expire, so I called to see if they would still accept it. I figured, it couldn't hurt to ask! The person I spoke with on the phone said that they normally do not accept expired coupons, but would make an exception if I came in that day. I arrived within 15 minutes, but was told that they would NOT accept the coupon after all and nobody admitted to speaking with me. Maybe the person I spoke with didn't ask her boss or have the authority? Either way, it was a bad customer service experience and a waste of time. When I got back to my office, I even redialed the number to make sure I called the correct location. Oh well. Perhaps I would have loved Jersey Mike's subs and become a customer for life, but now I'll never know. read more
