This location has an attitude problem. I get that there are shortages of items. Still, when a customer asks, they don't need to receive an attitude from the younger strawberry-blonde kid like last week's visit when my mountain wasn't in the bag, and I asked if they had any in the back instead of the Gatorade, they substituted it with. This week's visit was just as bad with the older grey-haired gentlemen giving an attitude about having 12 orders going. I ordered online at 10:00 for an 11:45 am pick-up. I got there at 11:40 and the order wasn't ready which I understood. I tipped $10.00 upfront so that they would see that I appreciated them for their efforts. However, when the time went by, and no one would speak to anyone waiting at the Togo counter I asked the brown hair kid at 11:55 where my order was. He went to the older guy who previously was seen repeatedly going into the back to get rolls and carry them out like logs of firewood on his bare arms and dirty ass shirt. The kid talked to him and then he proceeded to bitch about all the orders ahead of me and a bit of other stuff that I could not hear over the noise from the grill. The sandwiches had been noted for which ones were for who, but nothing was written on them, and they were loosely wrapped and placed into the torn brown bags sleeves, causing the sandwiches to spill their contents when removing them from the brown bag sleeves. The lack of empathy, proper food handling, and customer service has been a problem that I have previously compelled Jersey Mikes about and it makes me seriously reconsider my choice to do business with them. Maybe instead of hiring @DannyDeVito as a spokes person they should teach their staff to not act like his character in Taxi! read more

I placed an order at 1 o'clock. The app said it would be ready at 1:11. I arrived at 1:19 and my order was not ready. I came back 30 minutes later at 1:49. It was not ready. I came back again at 2:09 and it was still not ready nor had it been started. The manager Hunter said if I didn't like it, I could leave, but I could not get a refund because they can't do that. These are not nice people and I'm pretty sure the girl with the face tattoos was on drugs. I watched her stare at sandwiches blankly not doing anything. The food is so good here, a little pricey but definitely worth it! I've been coming here for about four years since moving down, this location is the best! We love Jersey Mikes and we came from out of town, this one only has 3 stars which I thought was weird .... Anyhow I see why... they had NO bread (unless you wanted to wait for 30min) and NO air conditioner. This is Florida!! And it's 95 degrees outside!! Get it together! read more

I was insulted and humiliated by a sandwich jockey at the #JerseyMike's sandwich shop on Ranch Lake Blvd in Bradenton Florida yesterday. She accused me of something I didn't do, argued with me about it in front of a store full of people. When she decided after about 10 minutes of arguing, accusing me of lying, that she had me confused with someone else, she offered a phony insincere apology. She wasn't sorry. Just a very small person who can't admit she was wrong. I was a regular customer there, several visits each month and probably spent $150/month there. NEVER AGAIN! I wouldn't visit that shop again if they offered me free lunch for a year. #jerseymikes One star is too many. read more

No. Just no! $16+ for one ham and cheese sandwich? Think about it, two SANDWICHES for $32, plus tax and tip?! (no chips, no drink, no cookie, no table service or delivery. Just one big bland sandwich.) There is absolutely nothing special about the food, the atmosphere is non-existent, the cleanliness is questionable. The people were the only semi-redeeming quality and even they were touching the food after handling the register. (Okay, she changed one glove and was very nice.) First of all wanted to try the Pastrami Rueben which is shown on their website. Drove to the location on SR70 and Rt 75. Waited in line and ordered my choice at which point the young gentleman said they haven't offered that for over a year. I then ordered the Italian full size sandwich. The sandwich had wafer thin meat, tomato's were a sufficient amount, onions were single rings spread out. The sandwich was nothing special at all. The sandwich maker tried to impress a new employee by making it very fast and it showed. For over $16.00. I'll take Publix any time for $8.00 over Mike's. They also discontinued their meatball sandwich. read more

Great service. Horrible franchise. $9 for half a sub with 4 pieces of turkey and the bread was chewy and rubbery. What a joke. Franchise should be ashamed of themselves and better be paying their employees more than fast food employees for the prices they charge. I will not go to this location again. There's a man that works there now, a heavy set man. He's is the slowest and stingiest person I have ever seen. It reminded me of saybways. It took forever to get my sub done. He takes the bread and weighs the bread. He puts cheese on the bread and weighs that. He puts cold cuts and weighs that. And the amount that he was putting in, wasn't the jersey mikes amount. He would slice the tiniest amounts, I do t know how he got away with it. He also keeps people waiting forever until he's done weighing everything and making the subs for people that calls in, instead of taking care of the people that are actually at the store first. I went there yesterday and then I finally left. That guy should not be working at the counter. Maybe in the kitchen, if that. So I left and went to the Jersey Mike's at 6737 Manatee Ave. I walked in, and what a difference. They were so inviting and had such a positive vibe, that this is the one that I will be going to from now on. Popped in the evening to grab a quick bite. I was very unhappy with the cleanliness of the food serving stations. The meat/cheese slicer was filthy, had not been cleaned for a while, the bread cutting station was very thick with days worth of crumbs. Just appeared very unsanitary. The employee that assisted me was great, but he was wearing his visor backwards with all his hair in his face.. the point of a hat or visor is to keep the hair away from food. read more

Just tried this location and although they had 3 employees working (3 ladies on 7/2), it took them forever to work through the orders. I thought I was actually watching an old episode of The 3 Stooges. This is a perfect location for Undercover Boss! A complete lack of common sense top to bottom... Why would anyone work on a phone order that was just called in when you have 7 completely different individuals standing in line waiting to place their orders and 2 others still waiting to get their subs after placing their respective orders? To boot, some of the subs made were wrong and had to be remade. Then, I was in awe watching the "leader" put the gloves on, ask which sub you wanted, slice the meat, take the gloves off, walk around employee #2, and commence to ring each your order before the subs even get their "fixins" all to turn around and start the whole silly process all over again. My 1st experience with Jersey Mikes was terrible. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak sub, and when opened it looked like a complete mess. The roll was slightly ripped apart and the chicken, hot sauce and blue cheese covered everything. Eating it required a fork which shouldn't be necessary with a sub/hoagie. Not sure if I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try another sandwich, but if so, most likely won't try the buffalo chicken again. read more
