I always try to order ahead because the wait for food is a bit longer than some other locations, but to be expected when there are few locations in the area. Every time I go to the Chick-fil-A on State Road 70 and order the frosted peach lemonade -- which is clearly listed on the menu -- I end up with some random drink that tastes like orange, peach, lemonade, and ice cream all blended together. One time the cup even said orange on the side. It's not what I ordered. A few weeks ago, they were handing out samples of the actual frosted peach lemonade, and it was amazing. That's what I wanted. This location is atrocious in every way possible: service, efficiency, food quality, cleanliness, you name it. I have been to this location three times and all three times I have been disappointed. And that's actually very hard to do, because I understand. I really do. I worked in hospitality for years. I usually have only a small window to eat lunch, as a lot of us do, and after placing a mobile order, choosing the option to walk inside to retrieve it, and arriving at the pickup time, my order was not ready. No big deal; it happens. But I waited for about fifteen minutes behind a line of others who seemingly had the same problem. I tried to ask someone, anyone, the status of my order so I could determine if I needed to cancel it, as I was in a bit of a hurry. Every time I made eye contact with someone to ask about my order, he or she would just mumble, "Excuse me," and walk elsewhere. Even management. Everyone was busy. Correction: everyone LOOKED busy. I don't think they actually were. When someone finally approached all of us in line, asking us our names, she then disappeared for about ten minutes. She then came back over and asked our names again. Then someone else came over and asked us our names and quickly came back with two parties' orders. I asked if she knew anything about my order and was met with a blank stare and an "Ok." I just wanted my food, or at least the status of it. Too much to ask, apparently. I was being patient and polite but at this point it had been 45 minutes since I had placed my order and almost a half hour standing around. I was still there only because I'm a fitness instructor and have to eat. It's more than simple hangry-ness; I wasn't going to get another opportunity to eat before my next class, as I'm a single mom and have other responsibilities. Finally I was asked my name (again) and what I ordered. I honestly couldn't even remember what my order was at that point and I left my phone in the car because didn't think it would take me 30 minutes to get my food. I told her that it didn't even matter I just needed to cancel it, get a refund and go. She said she couldn't cancel it unless she knew what it was. I told her, "I think it was (whatever) and my name is Jaynie P." She then apologized and said their system didn't receive my order. Again, that happens, but I didn't care at that point. The app had sent me a confirmation notification so it was probably bullshit anyway. Point of this unnecessarily long story: don't go to this location. If you are the owner of this location, for the love of all things holy, fire everyone. Fire everyone, close your location for about a week and go to another Chick-fil-A, literally any other Chick-fil-A in the area, learn how they run their restaurants and train their staff and make some changes. I went to the chick- fil -A @ 5206 73rd Ln E Bradenton, FL 34203. I went through their drive thru. I stopped at the window and paid for my food. In the mist of paying. I seen a on the top left corner. I told the chick - fil - an employee where the roach was and I Kisha Paul said it in a calm Tone so she didn't overreact. The main drive thru employee called her coworker over to see the roach . Both of the women screamed. The roach started getting closer to the window. I told the main drive thru employee to close the window before it goes inside and at that point the coworker was currently handing me my food. I love chick fil a but this has to be the WORST one I've ever been to. This has unfortunately been the closest one to me for the last seven years but I've visited many others. The drive thru is an absolute debacle every single time. This has nothing to do with the closure of inside dining, but it did make it worse. They've tried to imitate the drive thru of the chick fil a about 20 mins away and failed miserably. I ordered nuggets, nothing special, a stock item. I always use the mobile app so I don't have to deal with incompetence while placing my order and choose curbside but for some reason I though I'd give the drive thru a chance. HUGE mistake, shame on me. I checked in with the order taker and she placed my number on my car. Not sure what happened from there but as I turned the corner to head for the pickup window, they've got workers delivering the food as it becomes ready for cars as to keep the drive thru line moving. I see them carrying cup holders and bags of food. There must've been about five orders delivered to cars surrounding me. I was curious as to why my food wasn't ready because again I got the most simplest of orders, NUGGETS. I get to the window and he tells me to pull forward so I did, I'm pretty obedient. Then he asks me what the name is I tell him my name and what I ordered. This next part is what really set me off.... I was asked to move into a parking space. Yes folks that would be CURBSIDE. Again shame on me for not doing that selection in the first place!! As I mentioned I ordered on the app, so my card gets charged. He brings me what I ordered and say he can't find my order so he's giving it to me for free. FREE.
