I'm a regular at Jersey Mikes franchises - and a big fan of them at that. I've gone to them out of state and even in Manhattan. Hands down this best sandwich franchise around for sure. I was thrilled when two locations opened in Brooklyn ( one on 7th and one on 5th - and YES I've been to both ) Personally I like the 7th Avenue Location better than the 5th avenue location because they actually listen. My go to item to get is The Giant Sized Original Italian sub + extra meat, Mikes way. Nothing beats this fresh sandwich on a hot summer day. Nothing. I'm truly addicted to this sandwich lol. The last time I came in, I ordered two Original Italians with extra meat and the person preparing made sure it was made with extra meat, and went out of their way to make sure it looked like it was to my liking. I ordered from Jersey Mike's many times in the past through Uber Eats. My order today was over $100. They delivered the order in a sealed Jersey Mike's bag. My order was missing 2 Doritos and a Stubborn Soda. I contacted Uber Eats, they said they cannot do anything about it. I contacted Jersey Mike's and Josh, said he was the manager, said he cannot do anything about it, even though the bag was sealed. He did not care about my past or future business, even though I stated I will have to write a review, told him I will include his name. Can the manager do a better job staffing their employees here? I understand people can also call out but when this location is short .. the staff is VERY rude and unpleasant. I have always wanted to try Jersey Mikes. I love a good sandwich but hate that chain named after public transportation but there was never a JM near me until I saw this one opened and delivered to my job. I really have to leave an incredible review for this Jersey Mike's - I came in on Wednesday March 29, their National Giving Day where all proceeds go to charity, in this case Special Olympics New York. A group of Special Olympics participants were in front of me - while dealing with making 12+ sandwiches for the group (treating them in my opinion with courtesy and respect), they also took the time to speed up my order and keep me apprised of when they would be with me. My order was for a chicken kahuna and they sent my husband home with beef---twice. We have decided that this will not be our new sandwich spot because they don't listen. To their credit, the sandwich was put together well. But there is a difference between chicken and beef and when you give them a second try and make sure to tell them to give you chicken because they did not the last time--and they give you beef again? I came here recently on what I think was their 2nd or 3rd day open and it was MOBBED. Of course with it being a brand new store, it was super clean but also bright and welcoming. I was a little disappointed to see that there was no seating area inside but luckily I live nearby so I could bring my food home. The staff were all super friendly and even though they were so busy, no one was ever rude or overwhelmed looking (which can definitely happen at a busy restaurant or store). All of the staff worked well together like a well oiled machine and everyone that I came in contact with was very nice especially the cashier who upon finding out that I did not have one of the promo cards for a free sub, gave me one without me even having to ask. As for my sub: it was delicious and the bread was SO fresh and soft. It was made very well and it wasn't messy at all when I got home and opened it. I agree that the sandwiches are generally good, but the service is so disorganized. No sandwich is worth waiting 20-30 minutes after you walk in to even ask what your order is. If the staff is going to ignore the walk-ins to prepare every single online order, then you need to have a kiosk to order and a screen to tell customers where they are in line. You cannot ignore customers that long and expect it not to affect your business. If business is that good for deliveries, please hire at least two or three more staff to accommodate this and serve walk-ins. As it is now their process is not working. read more

My daughter and I ordered from this store twice, once a few weeks ago and again last night ~5:45pm. The sandwiches are good and tasty but the staff seemed untrained and were rude to us with the exception of one girl who at least attempted to converse with us about menu recommendations. We were the only customers there both times, but it took an extremely long time to get our sandwiches ready. Last night after we ordered another customer arrived, and they prepared his sandwich ahead of one of our sandwiches. In doing this they mixed his order with one of our sandwiches which we didn't realize until we got home. The order also took even longer because we had to wait so long for our last sandwich which was a mini cold sandwich that should've taken the quickest to prepare. It took so long because she was preparing 5 other sandwiches for a delivery and instead of giving us our sandwich first since we were waiting on right in front of her, she very slowly made all sandwiches at once and only gave me mine after they were all completed even though we were waiting right in front of her. The girl who checked us out was also rude, there was a man waiting on a pickup order and he was being a bit impatient, so she snapped at him and told him to wait. I will give it another shot at another time (probably through delivery) hoping they get things together and they can retrain their staff on how to work more efficiently and properly deal with customers. read more

Tried Jersey Mikes for the first time a few days ago. Definitely pricey but they're really good quality subs and you can tell they care about what they're doing. I got the Italian one, it was either that or the Club Sub but I opted with the Italian because it had more meat inside. 5 types to be exact. I got the large size because so many people told me a small wouldn't be enough. They were right. I hadn't eaten all day and I pretty much finished the whole thing. I love that they cut the sandwich for you, it made it a lot easier to eat, perfect way to share with others too. I did add Mayo and cherry relish. Tbh, I'm not sure it was even needed which is crazy for me to say because I love Mayo on my sandwiches but the vinegar and oil they use was more than enough to bring some life to it. I don't know if I would order again only because you can get good quality subs at a deli for much cheaper but it was worth trying at least once. Maybe id eat it again in person.. the prices online are already gouged enough on top of them being high as is. read more

No clue why the reviews are this low, a lot of complaining customers regarding wait times and delivery times etc. Just physically get off your butt and get up and go to the location and order to go. Naturally, if you order online you are paying a delivery fee and will be competing with hundreds of other orders.
