We were driving back to LA from Yaamava' and stopped for gas nearby. We were hungry, so my husband and I decided to give this Jersey Mike's a try. Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant after seeing some of the reviews, but I'm so glad we stopped! We came in around 8:30 PM and were greeted by David and Erick, two outstanding young men! They were both incredibly friendly, patient, and provided excellent customer service, even with me being a little picky and asking for a few modifications. And this was toward the end of the night! The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and they made us feel genuinely welcome. David and Erick definitely deserve some recognition. My eldest daughter wanted Jack In The Box (JITB) for dinner. On our way there, I saw Jersey Mike's Subs. I love their subs! I decided to come on back their way to get some delicious Turkey Provolone. It was 15 mins before closing so it was a very close call. I thought we may not make it, but we did. I should have gotten the sandwich first and then went to JITB since JITB opens late. Lesson learned! This Jersey Mike's is located within Falcon Ridge Town Center in Fontana. Free parking is plenty. Super bright and clean place. One all gender restroom for customer use only. Very super friendly staff. I was their last customer for the night so I got all the attention LOL. I went with my go-to sandwich, Turkey Provolone, with all the trimmings, but without "The Juice" topped with black pepper. Don't get me wrong. I love "The Juice". I was heading home so I didn't want my sandwich to be soggy while in route. Turkey Provolone never disappoints! Turkey was thinly sliced and tasty sweet... not in a candy sweet way, but in a turkey sweet way. Layers and layers of deliciousness! Provolone was divinely cheesy. Wheat bread was warm and fresh. Veggies were crisp. One YUMMY sandwich! I'll be sure to make more frequent stops here for a quick meal from time to time. When I dine-in, I'll have it "Mike's Way". In the middle of a commute and I wanted a quick bite to have while on the road. Greeted by staff when I walked in. Three employees in the kitchen and only one man was ahead of me, having already ordered for himself and his kids. Even so, waited a good 10 minutes before being asked what my order was; big kahuna cheese steak and got some vinegar chips. Service was much slower than I would like but staff was friendly and my sandwich was delicious. Perfect balance of vegetables, cheese, and steak all melted together. read more

Went to Jersey Mike's with my family to get some sandwiches & drinks and placed an order for a #16 for myself, asking for bell peppers instead of hot peppers. I even mentioned it was my first time visiting. The young lady taking my order didn't offer a receipt, didn't hand me my drink cup, and just walked away after I paid, so I had to grab the cup myself (check the cameras around 8 PM, I was wearing a black shirt). When I got home, I found the sandwich had regular hot peppers, not bell peppers. I immediately went back to the store and politely asked for a replacement. The employees looked at each other, laughed, and one of them said they'd "call the manager." After a quick pretend call, they came back and told me, "Sorry, we didn't make a mistake." People that know me know that the only fast food that I eat is Jersey Mikes. So today my mom and I decided we're going to have sandwiches, soup, and salad for dinner. But nobody wanted to cook although we already have the soup and salad, we decided to go to jersey mikes for the sandwiches. As we walked through the doors at the restaurant, Mom and I are discussing what we're going to get. This youngster stood in there a dumbfounded and I noticed that right off. I told him what the order was then he proceeded to ask me again, so what are you getting As if I never said anything. To clarify, I repeated my order again and you think he would have started making the first thing that I said Because I gave them to him one at a time, oh but no. He proceeded to tell me I can't remember all of that. We're only getting two things, a salad bowl would Italian meat, and a ? But he stands there so I said OK let me reiterate, so he started on the bowl then jumped to something else and I'm saying you didn't finish you just threw lettuce in the bowl. I told him if you start with the things that I am saying you don't have to remember. Plus we are still trying to Christmas shop, and I was going to kill two birds with one stone while moms waiting on the food to be prepared, I was going to run over to Panera Bread and grab a box of cookies for the children like I've been doing for years for Christmas. So, I told him I'll just give you my order when I get back so you'll just have to wait for that one. But that's smart-ass, sh*t talking child as I was walking out of the door he yells out guess I will have to, with an attitude. I hadn't reached the door so I turned around walked back over to him to warn him that he's not being professional but more or less emotional so he tried to play dumb and divert the truth but I got him back on track by telling him it is better for you to keep your mouth shut rather than talking sh*t and maybe you can keep my business. read more

I walked into the establishment and was immediately greeted. Then I stood for 3 minutes until I was asked what I wanted to eat. I gave my order. Then while I waited for another two and half minutes the employee that asked for my order started cleaned the slicing machine. Meanwhile, two other employees continued to work on to go orders and cooking bacon. So, after about seven minutes and counting I decided to cancel my order. As I was leaving the employee who continued to clean the slicer machine told me, "I was just cleaning the slicer." First, I'm so glad we got a Jersey Mikes near by. We have too many Chipotle's and burger joints. This is a huge asset to our community. Second, the service was outstanding. The team worked incredibly well together, moving the long line of customers at a nice pace. Lastly, my faith in the younger generation has been restored. I can't believe I had to give them a one star in order for me to place a review want to share my recent experience at your Jersey Mike's location. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. I was waiting to place my order. The young gentleman with glasses seemed to ignore me for a while, which was frustrating. When I finally got a chance to order my chicken cheese steak sandwich, I specifically asked for no chilies. He quickly replied that it didn't come with chilies. However, when I received my sandwich, it had chilies and no pepperoni, and he never asked if I wanted to add any veggies or spices. This is my third negative experience at this location, and I have decided that I will not be returning poor customer service. I do not recommend this place!!! read more

Where do I start? I walk in and no one greets me. There were three of us in there, me and the couple that was ahead of me. They place their order and the server GABRIEL(a young man) also took my order at the same time. He slices the meat for my #5 regular that took all of 2 seconds which was probably good enough for a mini. So he places my sandwich right next to the sandwich of the customer ahead of me and proceeds to make our sandwiches together. I tell him I only want lettuce tomato and oil. I tell him absolutely no vinegar. While he's making the sandwich next to mine he splashes vinegar all over her sandwich which I see splashes on mine and I let it go. Then he cuts and spreads avocado on the other sandwich and I let him know I am allergic to avocado which is all over his glove but he proceeds to cut her sandwich and I'm staring at him so he won't cut mine with the same knife but I can clearly see he is not happy about having to grab another knife to cut mine. He then tells me to go to the other register to check out and doesn't tell me the total and pushes my sandwich to me after I paid. He seemed upset to do his job. No thank you or have a nice day, just silence after he pushed my sandwich to me and turned and walked away. I hold Jersey Mikes at a higher standard but keep receiving Subway customer service. Been here twice now, and food is great but service is lacking. Staff seem confused and don't communicate with one another. Both times the store was empty and no one greeted me with lots of staff standing around. Long wait times for food and service in an empty store is not ideal. They couldn't figure out how to use my coupon and charged me for avocado and when I got home no avocado.
