I ordered coffee, water and two eggs, bacon, hash browns and wheat toast. Service was swift. The breakfast was OK. Bacon was warm and not fresh. Toast was not fresh either. I was seating at the counter, watching David the man that prepares the sandwiches to go. David is very talkative, but looked like he knew what he was doing preparing those sandwiches. I observed the young girl at the register, in what I would consider in a disrespectful manner, tell David to hurry up with the orders. Not appropriate in front of customers. The new owner, was walking around the counter area, very stoic, not greeting anyone. How did I know that was the new owner. I asked. I won't be back at Dyan's. I suggest, the new owner start greeting the customers. And the cashier, not treat her coworkers in a rude way.

The pastrami was a bit fatty and grisly so I had to deconstruct it. The rye was soft in the center and got a tad soggy from the meat, but had a nice outer edge crust. I think I'd get the corned beef instead in the future. I gave my well marinated pickle to my husband -- I'm a half sour gal myself. But I liked the slightly sweet coleslaw.
